Don’t even think of going there, first approach so rude, especially the Colombian girl at the entrance. Def doesn’t want to make me come back and try. Don’t waste your time. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I give one start because I can’t give ZERO. Don’t waste your time in this place, it sucks, the staff thinks they have a Saint Tropez club and treat their customers like they’re just wallets… and the delivery of their services is not up to standards. They do create policies so you spend more money. I give it one year until it goes out business.

Terrible. They play terrible music at this establishment. I’m here currently for a friends birthday, it’s 11:00 pm on a Friday and the DJ flat out refused to play any upbeat Spanish music. The drinks are spectacularly expensive and watery, definitely won’t be coming back here.

Worst club ever! The place is pretty and the music is good, nice location; it has the potential to be good but everyone is rude and ridiculous. We will not come back ever!

NO stars. My friend and I went tonight and let me just tell you the worst club. Empty and rude people work there. We told them from the get go we were going to pay coverage; Mind you our friends were inside, and the TWO girls said no. The first had a black bob and the other one was fake blonde, both Spanish (colombian). Our friend from the inside tried talking to the blonde one, but her exact words were «we reserve the right to deny people who enter here and you and your friend are not allowed, according to the manager.» Mind you I’m Caucasian, TICA anD my friend is Colombian, tan skin. I have never been denied entrance to a club. Like we were just standing in line and not making a huge fuss or drama for that case. At that point I told my friend let go to BARU. I recommend you highly to go to BARU. La Victoria is a place where it doesn’t get hyped AND they have employees who don’t know how to treat people. Degrading customers and I believe it’s because of racism. Because everyone else behind us were Caucasian. If I had a video of it all I would have my father sue this place. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. Go to BARU people are wayyyy nicer it’s more hype and overall better vibe.

Stay away from this place. Its a complete scam. Went for a friend’s birthday. When I went to pay my bill and they had ran up twice the drinks with things we hadn’t drank. I refused asked for a corrected bill. They took me into the back room to talk with the «manager» who said he would call the police if I didn’t pay. I told him to call them. He then brought in two security guards dressed as police officers and had them try tell me to «just pay the bill so I could go home» and «do yourself a favor and avoid problems». Felt really threatened especially because they took my ID into another room I guess to photo copy it. When I took out my phone, and said I would call 911, they had me leave. Next day I look at my bank statement and they charged the whole amount AND put a $ 45 tip on it that I didn’t sign for. Needless to say I disputed the charge and credit card company said they had received several fraud complaints against company. Will be filing a complaint with the local police.

This place sucks, they create crap so you spend on bottles. Create policies so you spend more money. Never coming back.

I wish I could leave a zero star review. This place is worst then terrible. Customer service is below average the prices are more expensive then south beach wow it was my first time and also my last time

The bouncer and manager were SO RUDE! My friends were going to buy a $ 250 bottle in order for them to let us in. At first they said no because two girls in our group were under age 24. After much convincing, the bouncer was letting us in, at which point the manager lady said no because I was wearing sandals! (Mind you, I was wearing a nice black dress and black open-​toed shoes with a small platform!) It was a terrible experience and I will never return, which is a shame because the place does look fun but not worth it to deal with such a$$holes!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Very rude people at the front. They took 15minutes to let us in. Even tho it was only two tables with guests and my friend had bottle service. They made us feel not welcome. Once we got in the waiter kept asking us every five minutes if we wanted drinks. Random Spanish music I never hard before was playing pretty much all night. I wont recommend this place to anybody. They don’t treat you right and make you feel that they’re better than you. Very douche attitude! What a bad experience

I tried going there for a friend’s birthday and they were just simply rude. I had spoken to what was possibly the owner or the owner’s son the night before in person at La Victoria and he had told us we could come with as many people and each 4 people would have to buy a bottle. We were okay with that! We even looked at the menu with him and picked out Aguardiante. When we arrived the next night he acted as if this never happened. He said you can’t get aguradiente you have to at least get vodka, to start at $ 400. If we did not choose to do that, girls had to pay $ 20 in cash, and I can’t even recall what the guys had to pay. Either way, it was a scam, they were rude, they lied to us, it’s just classless. I supposed I’d understand if they were on South Beach and actually had competition but they are located in the Design District. Never again will I go. It’s really unfortunate considering the atmosphere and the idea of the place is neat. It’s better to be a pig than a hog; remember that La Victoria…

Unorganized. Classless. Rude operators and Bouncers (including ladies) who think they are Gods gift to Design District. Vibe killers. Not worth your wait or 20.00 (cash only entrance fee). Furthermore, left hand doesn’t know what right is doing. No two employees have the same information from entry fee, to table service (and what’s included). These people and this place can ruin an evening. Would not suggest for celebrations. Case in point, after arriving (with 30+ people; mostly women), we were told our reservations (for two tables made the day before in person by a Colombian girl) were no longer valid and told a bottle of Aguardiente was NOT included (when the day before it was) with table service (only allowed bottles of Vodka, puke). They «couldn’t guarantee» our entire parties entrance furthermore proceeded to make the process difficult for all. Save your money and spend it elsewhere.

My friends and I made arrangements for a table earlier in the week, when we arrived they didn’t have our reservation and tried to charge us twice the amount they had quoted us for a bottle. On top of it the lady at the front door and the bouncers were rude and did nothing to rectify the situation. Once we got in (they made us all pay cover) it was just an average bar. Will not be coming back.

This place is total BULLSH*T. From the way the bouncers act at the door you would think you were trying to get into LIV. ¿Que se creen? You’re in the design district. You’re not cool.

The music is very good. They play all the perfect time Latin music. The hosts aren’t very nice, they try to make it a problem to let you. Then when you come it’s just a regular very hot place. It actually very average.

Great music and good vibe… Unfortunately, they are trying to take advantage of their «moment» treating customers bad… We were asked to buy 2 bottles to get a table, but after a couple of hours, they tried to forced us to buy yet another bottle in order to keep our table, or we had to give up our table to other customers ?? Honestly, that’s not how what you expect from these type of places … They ruined our party after all :-(

EL Sitio y la música buenos, la única razón por la cual no le pongo cinco estrellas es por la forma en que me trató la señora de la entrada, la cual trata a los clientes de forma despectiva lo que me llevo a pensar en algún momento en no entrar al sitio.

Great music, ambiance and décor. The place does not get full until midnight or after. Drinks were good. However, the attitude of the staff lacks professionalism and friendliness. One comment heard from every person in our party: «the girl at the front entrance is a huge bitch; ruined my mood»

We happened on this new place after dinner tonight and I love the Mexican dia de los muertos décor and open outdoor space. Juanes and Carlos Vives were playing while we had our drinks at the bar. We were there a bit early so the party crowd had not arrived and their bar was not stocked to prepare a mojito; however, I’m looking forward to coming back once they find their place among the other night spots in the design district.
