Great little neighborhood gem. Friendly servers and good food. The interior is really cute, dark, but cute.

My husband and I went for dinner on Friday. The restaurant is within a strip mall. Small and cozy and the tables are dressed with white tablecloths. I loved it. The servers are the owners. The owners are French. Their service was excellent. They have a very good wine selection and the food was also very good. The only thing is that they weren’t wearing uniforms but other than that, I recommend this restaurant. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Can’t even figure out how to rate the food since I was there for about 10 minute and no one acknowledged us. Very authentic french, I guess.

So after passing by this place a hundred times I finally stopped to try their lunch. My sandwich is one of the worst I’ve ever had. The pre-wrapped/pre-made sandwich that was handed to me was not what was on the menu. Then to make matters worse they switched the sandwich for another one in my bag. The bread was unbearably hard and dry. The only thing I enjoyed was my fresh squeezed orange juice.

I went last night with friends to celebrate my birthday. This was a fantastic diner. We all ordered different starters and main dishes, all of them excellent. The service was good and was directly by the owner. I will come back.

Great food and service when walking in. But, when making reservations, they are the WORST to keep their word. After reserving my birthday party of 10 people a month in advance and their staff calling me to reconfirm the date a day before, they decided the day of my reservation to book another party of 40 people, which closed the restaurant down for the day and removed any reservations in place. And, the worst of it was that they never notified us of their disorganization until me, my family, and friends arrived to the location. Though they offer decent tasting food, I would not recommend this restaurant after being offered this dissatisfying service.

This is quite a nice place with excellent food, cooked to the point and perfectly seasoned. You can expect authentic French cuisine for a fair price. The menu is short and offers something for everyone, the wine selection is good and has a good mixture. The service is quick and the waiting time for good to come out is relatively short. All in all a very good experience. I will definitely come back!!!

Completely exceeded my expectations, i was let down by french food elsewhere but this place was great. The area is shady, but has recently been coming up a little bit, but the restaurant was spotless and exquisitely furnished. I am a huge fan of seafood so i decided to go with the mussels cooked in white wine, garlic, and butter. There was an abundant amount in the bowl, but these things are soo tasty it is hard to feel full, you just want more! We also had the chicken cooked in cognac and mushroom cream sauce. I have never had anything like it and i had a second baguette ordered to the table so i can mop up the rest of the sauce with the bread, that is how good it was. Both dishes came with fries but one can also order them with rice. For dessert we had the Bahamas crêpe which was a crêpe with vanilla ice cream, red berries, and whipped cream. I would have included a picture but we just went in and devoured it before that thought crossed my mind, sorry, it was good i promise you. The service was extremely friendly and the other reviewers mention that as well. will be back!

A few days ago my boyfriend asked me to make reservations for our New Year’s Eve celebration but because it was so last minute I was freaking out! Luckily I met an angel in disguise that suggested a restaurant! La Tour Eiffel in Miami! Right away I called them and was able to make a reservation for 4 ½ people! Imagine walking into a restaurant and the owner knows your name! Leslie the Canadian! It was like an episode in Cheers! I will tell you we had very tough critics in our party, my boyfriend(French) and Julien(French) We had a four course meal and every plate was unbelievable! The foie gras, seafood with sauce béchamel ++++ was so perfect and just the right amount of food to prepare you for the next surprise! Thank you so much for our 2015 New Year’s Eve celebration! See you soon :)

The foie gras was excellent as was the scallops both as appetizer and main course. The lamb chops were to die for. All was followed by a salad and dessert. We topped off the night with an expresso. What a great meal to start the New Year cannot wait to try the escargot next time. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

What can I say. I just mooved in the area and I am so happy I found this place. I’m French. And it’s always nice to go there and the owners are very nice and they do the best they can to make you feel at home. The food is extremely good I definitely recommend this place.

I have never written a review on Unilocal but this place was SOGOOD that I needed to post my experience. We had an adorable french waiter that was to the point, fast, helpful and nice. We came in for and quick lunch and ended up having a ton of dishes including this incredible dessert plate. In other other bomb place and a must go!

As you head out of town on Biscayne, don’t neglect the bevy of small shops and cafes that line the street. They’re full of hidden gems. So goes it with La Tour Eiffel. I was so pleased to discover a café/bistro with so many delightful French choices. In addition, the service was kind, patient and beyond accommodating*. LTE is also another reason why it’s so important to explore the 305 outside of South Beach, Brickell and Wynwood. The city has a lot to offer once you take the time to see what lies below the hype. Walking in, I was immediately taken with the beautiful wood floors, dark wood furniture and tastefully simple décor. I didn’t feel as though I was still in Miami. At the time of my visit, I was missing Paris and I was grateful to find chef/owner who provided such a wonderfully authentic experience. The warm mid-Spring day led me to go for a glass(which became a shared bottle) of Vouvray. Don’t mind if I do! I was pretty hungry so I began my meal with the mussels. Heavenly. Plump, juicy mussels served steaming hot with plentiful white wine/garlic broth and crunchy French bread. Oh man. I could have made a meal of just that. But, I was in an indulgent mood so I continued the decadence with the cassoulet(my favorite French dish). It was creamy, rich, full of fowl and sausage, and deliciously-filling. Not knowing when to stop, I ordered a dessert crêpe. This was a mistake. Not because the crêpe wasn’t tasty(it was) but because I over-titrated. Know when to say when. That said, my Jamaica crêpe with banana, cinnamon and flambeed rum was a(almost too) sweet way to end a very satisfying meal. *My party(unknowingly) stayed well past close and the owners never made a fuss, tried to kick us out, etc. I was extremely embarrassed by my negligent rudeness and was very appreciative of the kindness with which we were treated. For any restaurant, that’s a major point. In Miami, such kindness is unheard of!

What a fantastic French Restaurant! Was meeting my good friend for lunch and we wanted French food since this day it was«Bastille Day». Of course I found this on Unilocal and wondered why I had never tried it. When we walked in I was taken back at how beautiful it is inside. They have a few tables outside and the dining area is small with a bar and beautiful dark wood tones and a gorgeous décor. Linen’s line the tables and you feel like you have stepped into a Bistro in France. Our server greeted us with water and I asked for the wine menu. They have a small selection of wines but a good variety with reasonable prices. We ordered a lovely dry Rose from France. We started with a cheese platter with four cheese and salad in the middle of the plate. They brought over a basket of sliced baguette that was seriously some great bread. The cheese platter was divine, very tasty cheese, fresh and the salad was excellent. Our server was great, gave us just enough space to chat and take our time. My friend ordered a Crêpe which she enjoyed and I ordered smoked salmon and brie on a baguette. My sandwich was very good, perfect tasty bread, with super fresh ingredients. We were so busy enjoying each other’s company we did not realize they were closing. LOL Our server told us they close at 3 and re open for dinner later. He was so sweet and said he only mentioned it to us because he had to go to the bank. We had a perfect afternoon for several hours enjoying good wine and very good food. I am looking forward to going back and trying other dishes. It is such a peaceful beautiful setting that you just want to sit there for hours. See you soon! Sante!

Affordable French cuisine in a casual setting… When I think French cuisine, I think cream sauces, snooty waiters, and mimes in chef’s hats stuck in invisible boxes. La Tour Eiffel has shattered that concept and introduced me to casual French fare. Located on Bisacyne Boulevard and NW72nd Street, the restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping center. It is easily visible from the road and can be spotted at night by the lit replica of the Eiffel Tower that is right next to the entrance. The menu is simple and easily navigated. You have the breakfast and lunch menu which features an assortment of salads, sandwiches, and crepes or the more robust dinner menu with varying dishes made a la carte. There is also a prix fixe menu which includes an appetizer and an entrée for a very accomodating price. Boasting a full bar and a decent wine collection, there is an ample choice for any palate. I was lucky to share a meal with an ecclectic and wonderful group of fellow foodies. We practically ordered a great cross section of the menu representative of the various styles and dishes available. All I heard were compliments as we sampled our way from the wine to dessert. If you are in the mood for delicious food in a casual yet elegant atmosphere, I highly recommend La Tour Eiffel. Bring your sweetheart, but leave the kids at home. They take major credit cards… and as always, leave the tip in cash. **Tip — Park at the meters for easier in and out. The shopping center has very limited parking.

I was here Saturday afternoon thanks to ELL(Eat Like a Local) on Unilocal. Our Community Manager, Johnny T., had the brilliant idea of creating this. It’s a simple concept. Once a month we try-out a local business in Miami. So far it has been restaurants but I’m hoping this catches on and spreads to other businesses as well. It’s a great way to meet other fellow Unilocalers as well as branching-out to different areas of Our Communities one normally wouldn’t venture out to. I encourage every Unilocal User to check this new concept out. Had it not been for ELL, I would never have known about this fabulous restaurant. Believe it or not, this restaurant isn’t pricey one bit. You are being served great authentic food. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Quiche Lorraine $ 9.80 — Ham and Cheese served with lettuce and sliced tomato. Everything was fresh and delicious. That dipping sauce, whatever it is, was absolutely wonderful. I smeared it on everything. Beef Bourguignon $ 20.50 — French Beef Stew served with something that looks like a rectangular potato«something.» Look, I was with people from Unilocal and didn’t want them to know I’m a Hillbilly from Hialeah that the only«French» in food he knows is available at McDonald’s. As per our server, this dish is rarely served at French Restaurants and is an authentic dish. It was a filling take on Beef Stew I have never had before. The beef was succulent and disintegrated simply by placing it inside your mouth. I highly recommend this dish. For Dessert I had a large plate of Crepes covered in whip cream, ice cream and chocolate syrup. It was large enough for four people to share. Sorry, I didn’t get the name. I asked for something authentic and that is what he brought and share we did. This thing was amazing and it was under $ 10.00. Judging by the plates ordered by me and the other Unilocalers, the food is kept simple and authentic. I will definitely be stopping by here again. Especially for dessert. Trust me, for these prices for this food, you have to really search. Thanks to ELL, I now have a nice restaurant to impress someone with. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Attire to come here — Unlike other French Restaurants, it’s very casual. I wouldn’t show-up in a thong, though. Dress appropriately but it’s casual and relaxed. * Parking — Check the shopping center first. They have several reserved spots for this restaurant. If not, meter parking is available on the side street. * Language — French owned and operated. You will have no problem here if you don’t speak French. This restaurant is very authentic on many levels. #KeepItLocal ** Kreyòl Ayisyen Isit la ou pa pral gen nenpòt pwoblèm franse osnon sou angle. We went here for an event, and bottom line is that this French café is excellent in every way: from the nicely appointed dining room that breathed bistro atmosphere, to the helpful and accommodating waitstaff, as well as the luxurious and perfectly prepared food. Looking at the menu, I was torn on what to try as multiple dishes looked great. I finally settled on the New York Strip Steak au Polvre(mainly based on the creamy peppercorn sauce with Cognac — an ingredient that I love in sauces). I prevailed upon my wife to get the Beef Bourguignon since this is a dish that even many french eateries don’t have. Ok, I must rave on the steak. It was perfectly, perfectly cooked. Tender. Juicy. Savory. I’ve been to good places where they’ve sold me Ribeye and Filet Mignon that weren’t as good. They managed to take a mid-level cut and elevate it through meticulous preparation. Not only that, but the sauce was insane and reeked of smoky Cognac throughout without being overpowering. The Beef Bourguignon was good(not as good as the steak. Get the steak!), and the meat tender. Both our dishes came with ratatouille and gratin potatoes. The ratatouille was ok, but the gratin was very good. For desert we had a Crêpe Suzette. I admit, I wasn’t too big a fan of this, as I think they went a bit heavy with the Grand Marnier(which they flambé’d at the table) and it basically tasted like I was eating alcohol with a crêpe base. However, one of our dining companions let me taste his crêpe with vanilla ice cream and it was quite good. It’s unfortunately a bit far for us to travel to visit this place often, but it is definitely become one of our«go to» spots when we find ourselves in the northern half of the city!

Tired of always going to the same establishments for dinner on a Friday night, my friend recalled seeing La Tour Eiffel on Biscayne Boulevard and suggested trying them out. I had been to this location’s previous incarnation, La Cigale, and could not understand how such a superb restaurant could close, so I assumed perhaps they just had a name change. As I walked in, I noticed everything looked the same or almost identical to the way it looked about a year ago. Gone were Thierry and Veronique though, sadly. Perhaps they decided to move back to France, I thought, so I decided I’d put nostalgia aside and keep an open mind. My friend and I scanned the menu briefly. We looked at each other and in unison declared«French onion soup!», so that’s what we decided to order for our appetizers. I had had a tough week and wanted to «treat myself» so for an entrée, I decided to go all out and get the lamb chops(Côtelettes d’Agneau au Porto, which are 4 lamb chops in a brown sauce for about $ 27), while my friend settled for a childhood favorite of his, beef bourguignon(Bœuf Bourguignon). The food was somewhat slow in coming out, or perhaps we were just extraordinarily hungry. The French onion soup came and the first thing my friend and I noticed was that it did not have much cheese in it. I like my soup to have a thick overflowing crust of cheese, but that was not the case here. There were 3 slices of baguette bread with cheese on top floating in the soup, but it wasn’t like this( ), where you cannot even see any of the liquid until you break through the cheese, which is what I was hoping for. He felt the same way. I liked that it wasn’t heavy on salt though, like at other places. Our main courses arrived a few minutes after. The lamb chops had a side option and I went with the gratin dauphinois, which are basically scalloped potatoes with bacon. How can you go wrong with bacon in anything? My friend got rice with his beef. Although the sauce on my lamb chops was delicious, the meat itself was a bit tough for some reason. I’ve had lamb chops where the meat melted off the bone, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. What ever points they lost on the meat they gained with the gratin, which was a small square of yummy-ness, but quite unforgettable. I kind of wished my entire meal had consisted of that instead… My friend liked his meal but thought his mother’s version was better, and no, she isn’t French. Of course, it may just be out of habit, to like what you’ve grown accustomed to, even if it isn’t authentic. I don’t know, I have never had that dish nor did he offer me any of his, so I could not tell you if his criticism was at all accurate. Their dessert selection consists mostly of crepes(about a whole page in the dessert menu dedicated to differing variations of them), and considering my friend doesn’t like chocolate or anything too rich, I thought a crêpe would be simple and fit the bill. There were many crêpe variations, from chocolate to Gran Marnier, pears with cognac… unfortunately, my friend likes things that are very simple and not too sweet nor does he like liquor, so finding a suitable crêpe to share actually became a challenge. We finally found a compromise in choosing the apple sauce crêpe. I wasn’t too impressed. It was good, but not amazing, and it could have been better, like if it had more apple sauce, or perhaps instead of apple sauce some actual apple slices as filling, like in an apple pie. I do think that their other crepes are probably tastier and more impressive, but I may have to return alone in order to experience that. The owner came over to the tables at one point and asked us how everything was, so that was a nice personal touch. The owner and the waiter were both French, and I’d venture to say that probably the entire restaurant staff is as well. Overall, I’d rate the food 3.5 stars, though I am not French so perhaps my opinion of the food is somewhat flawed. As to parking, there’s parking at the front, though it is shared with , the Chop Shop, and 2(or maybe 3) other establishments in that little strip. If you find some spots marked«reserved» with an Eiffel Tower on them, those are reserved exclusively for La Tour Eiffel patrons, so feel free to grab one of those. Don’t forget to stop by the pretty, blinking Eiffel Tower light sculpture on the table by the door and take a picture!

Excellent place! They just opened and offer a real French bistro(not restaurant!) at very affordable prices(food and wine!!) The owner and chef(Olivier and Jerome) are extremely nice and professional in the restaurant business. For lunch they offer many easy and quick bistro favorites: crepes(real buckwheat crepes), sandwiches, quiches and salads. They also sweet crepes along with their regular desserts menu. For dinner the place turns more into a restaurant and they serve comfort food(cassoulet, moules, steak au poivre, boeuf bourguignon etc). The prices are very affordable with nothing more than $ 20 or $ 25 for the entrée. Wines are very affordable too and they offer a nice selection of French but also US wines. Big plus they have a parking! Great place, great service and great food!
