Service was good; but food a little bland. Prices were reasonable especially at an airport. Will not eat here in the future. However if you are looking for a quiet and spacious place to eat; then would suggest eating here.

Our food was good and the service was more than adequate. Considering it was at an airport it was good. Expect to pay a bit more than average and look at the bill to see if the tip is added in already.

This is what happens when you don’t check yelt before going in… Hospital food tastes better than here… My tomato basil soup took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was just like plain boiled pasta and shrimp… the server saw the look on my face and offered to change it for«the best dish of the house» and she brought the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. … again I’d choose hospital soup over it. One star is just because the server was nice… but never coming back again!

If I could I put zero star. We just left. With no service. Did not have time to waste time. Our boarding was in 40 minutes. Seating there at the table nobody asked us for drink or food even though table next to us was served. Weiter not even looked at us. Fu*k all.

Job description clearly doesn’t include cleaning table or cooking food. Tip is already added so no reason to bother with service. The table was dirty and there was no effort to wipe it. The burger was raw. The inclusion of a mandatory tip is probably because few people left one voluntarily.

They add a 15% tip to the check, even if dining alone, so zero incentive for service. Meh food, dirty floors, and highway robbery prices. Avoid.

The alcohol menu had no prices. When we asked, the server said the drinks were $ 8 to $ 15. Again we had to ask how much each drink was. And so on. To go through this nonsense in a major American airport is infuriating. I hope the owner knows what his staff charges for drinks.

Horrible experience. Our group sat down for food. The server was rude, and did not personalize the service at all. We were treated so poorly that we left without ordering.

Fairly good for airport food considering it is inside a food court. We ordered chicken tenders, quinoa salad and Caesars salad. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. Very good service, attentive and professional. I was very impressed by Dmytros’(our server) hospitality. I recommend it.

Don’t stop here. You will be disappointed. Service was ok, food horrible. Burger overcooked and burned! Lettuce with dark spots, rotten. Fries ok if they were not cold. Don’t waste your money.

Horrible service! Waited 45 minutes to get food and another 20 to pay the bill. Luckily I wasn’t rushing for my flight.

La Pausa is a gem! In the bustle of air travel, we found the hostess and waiter to be absolutely charming. For an airport restaurant this was totally surpassed our expectations and delightful. The food was excellent and came out very quickly. We ordered burgers — hot, juicy and very tasty. Dimitro, our server, was excellent. If you are ever in Miami Intl. and in need of good and friendly faces, visit La Pausa!

Wanted to go to The Counter for burgers, but when we realized that this stupid airport doesn’t allow you to travel terminal to terminal without exiting first, we came here instead. My friend got her burger and I went for 1 of 3 vegetarian options here, the veggie wrap. I got it without cheese to make it vegan friendly. It wasn’t that bad actually! It was fresh, light, and filled me up. It automatically comes with a side of fries, or upgrade to sweet potato for $ 2 more. The fries were ok, they weren’t that crispy-as if they’ve been sitting out for a while. Beer selection is poor. Only 2 options-Bud or Sam Adams. At least you can do a 22 ounce. But drinking more of crappy beer doesn’t necessarily make you feel better. Overall this place was ok. It certainly looked much better than the limited other options we had in the food court.

Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The food is okay. I had the Mahi salad. Somewhat tasteless. Very overpriced at $ 20 for two pieces of Mahi on greens and some diced tomatoes. But the service is atrocious. Very slow. Not attentive.

I had a burger it was very juicy and flavorful. The fries on the other hand were cold and limp. They come in this tiny fry basket trying to be fancy or something I guess. I asked for some mustard and ketchup for my burger. The mustard had that crust of dried mustard all over the lid. I was not going there. The bartender seemed to have a bit of an attitude but he was attentive. Not bad for airport food. Restaurants on the terminals are hard to come by.

I just paid $ 23 dollars for a burger, fries, and a coke. Buns had a weird chemical taste. Meat was bland. Its been about 20 minutes since I ate and I’m starting to weigh my options in case I hurl. If you choose to eat here godspeed.

For airport food, we all enjoyed our meal. Dymtro, our waiter, recommended the chicken avocado burger, chicken parm and steak burger. They were all excellent. The chicken parm was real chicken. Plenty of Parmesan cheese. Burgers were cooked exactly as requested. Very juicy. Grilled chicken was also juicy. Avocado fresh. All the food was hot, served fast, and accurate.

I stumbled upon this place this past February when the boyfriend and I arrived at the Miami airport. We had been traveling from Buffalo, NY from 6am, and it was now 3:30pm ish. We normally wouldn’t stop to eat and drink at the airport upon ARRIVAL, but we were starving and knew we would have to wait for our bags anyways so we figured, «Why not?»… Ughhh, boy was that a mistake. We wanted something quick, simple, and cheap. Well the quick part was achieved, but within 20 minutes we walked in and out after paying a $ 50.00 bill! Really? My boyfriend and I each had ONE drink(Bacardi o and diet) and we opted to split a Turkey club sandwich. The sandwich was completely dry(literally had no dressing, mayo, sauce, etc on it… and no we didn’t order it this way). $ 50 is completely unacceptable for two alcoholic beverages and a dry, half assed sandwich. Well, its Miami right… and none the less, its an airport. I will suck it up next time and wait until we leave the airport premises. Lesson learned!

Keep in mind I am comparing this to airport food. Outside of the airport I don’t know that I would have administered a three. That said I ordered some wings(tyipical) and they were indeed tasty! I was actually pleasantly surprised by this. They have Sammy’s on tap which is nice. I also had half of a burger that was pretty ick. The lettuce was severely wilted and even that dark green slimy stuff in some parts.
