Wow. This place is F-​A-​R from downtown but well worth the trip.
Because I live «far away» their business hours were inconvenient for me during the week. However, the office is open one Saturday a month.
I’ve never needed orthotics before and so I think it is only fair to give four stars. If you are a runner and in need of custom orthotics (special inserts for your shoes) then definitely come here. Mike (the specialist who makes them) is an enthusiastic runner and takes great pride in making your insoles correctly.
First you get a mold taken of your feet. He makes the insoles inhouse within 10 days. Then you go back to pick them up and make sure they fit right. It’s not an entirely precise science so he invites you to return as often as it takes to get it right. Quite pricey, but worth it as they last a few years and he will «refill» the padding as often as needed for no extra charge (they will wear down a bit with use).
