It is a comprehensive center dedicated to providing South Florida the highest quality of eye care using advanced ophthalmic diagnostic techniques and treatments. Business Owner

Charles J. Kaiser, MD has been a resident of Miami for over 40 years. Born in Washingtion, D.C., he moved to Miami from New York at the age of 8. He prepped at the Ransom Everglades School and then attended Princeton University, graduating with a degree in Molecular Biology. He completed his medical training at the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1990 with Distinction in Research in Immunology. After his internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital he did his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he was chief resident during his final year. Dr. Kaiser returned to Miami in 1994 to join South Dade Eye Associates in Perrine, which grew into Med Eye Associates. He joined the team at the Center For Excellence in Eye Care in December 2002.

Dr. Kaiser performs small incision phacoemulsification (cataract surgery) in addition to glaucoma and laser surgery. He also performs Custom iLASIK (blade-​free LASIK) and refractive lens exchange with bo
