Jesse Williams Ranch

This is a fabulous place to do a party with friends and family. Everything was great when it came to the animals and the cleanliness of the ranch. The owner Jesse is very passionate with his love for the animals and their environment. Being that I have an animal lover for a child, I can totally respect that. No smoking on the farm and no trash around the ranch grounds.
Once I got there I was able to place my party goodies on the picnic area that was designated for my party. At first I didn’t have most of the children whom were invited, therefore with the ones that were present they quickly got them busy. Starting with brushing the horses and seeing some of their exotic animals. After, my son was being prepped on how to care and get on the horse. He got on and did his round around the lawn area.
The instructor Jodi was very knowledgeable on how posture should be while riding the horse as well as complimenting towards the kids ride. Once each child got to ride the horses we went to check out the exotic animals which we were allowed to feed them. From then we went to feed the horses in the stables and that was fun to do. Even one horse smiled and showed his teeth while I took a picture. That was really funny and cute to see.
Right before we got to eat and sing happy birthday is when things got a bit uncomfortable. My husband approached me about the rest of the cost we needed to cover for the party. I explained that Jesse hadn’t came to speak with me directly and that I was told he didn’t give me a specific time to wrap up the party. Especially because Jesse specifically stated there wasn’t a time on the clock for the festivities. Given we got there at about 2 and it was 4pm when this occurred.
I approached Jodi and explained that my husband will finalize payment once party was coming to an end. This conversation was of no issue but the only thing I disliked that it occurred in front of my party attenders. Which by the way they felt very uncomfortable by certain comments that she would say and question about their children. Either way, at this point we felt a bit rushed and uncomfortable.
When I initially spoke with Jesse about the party and all that is included, he stated no specific time for the ending of the party as well as privacy for my party. I appreciate the assistance of Jodi through out the party but once for eating, singing happy bday, and present opening we felt as if we should’ve kept it between family and friends that were invited. For example she was sitting with us most of the time for those moments.
I truly had a phenomenal time at jesse’s ranch. Although, It is my obligation to give all points of my and those who were invited, experience. One is be mentally prepared for the amounts of rules. Some were understandable but others made my group feel a tad uncomfortable. Such as having shorts on and not long pants. Parents whom weren’t going to ride horses and were frowned upon due to not having sneakers or boots on. This was specifically from Jodi.
One thing for those getting trained to ride horses but others that are just invited to the party should be allowed to wear what is comfortable to their likings. If they get poop, hay or whatever else on their shoes will be their own fault since as I did my part to inform what should be worn in this occasion. I can’t control people’s wardrobe options.
Then I was recommended by Jodi to give a tip to the volunteer which she helped with the children riding the horses. I appreciate the fact she brought it to my attention because as a volunteer I understand you normally don’t get a paycheck for the time spent on the ranch. To be honest she deserved it due to her passion and patience with the riders. The part I felt was a bit much is telling me how much I should give. I explained we brought only a certain amount of cash (they don’t take cards) and that I will be happy to give her any extra money I may have at hand, which I did.
Overall, this review would’ve been a 5 stars if it wasn’t for the uncomfortable moments and disliked comments my party attenders had toward this particular individual. I hope for next time around she is a bit less overwhelming so that others can fully enjoy themselves. Regardless of these ill feelings, my family and friends loved my party. On that note thank you Jesse!

What a fabulous place! Had a great day. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Jesse is the ultimate host and gave us so many memories. Wish we moved closer. Will definitely be back!

Showed up unannounced and immediately felt like a VIP. Jessie invited right in and the kids were right on a horse and all smiles. The staff was amazing the animals were amazing and all looked extremely well kept and the grounds were in great shape even after some nasty weather this week. The animal exhibit was great the kids were right up close and personal with the tiger and the panther. Can’t wait to schedule another day with the rest of the kids for more fun. No need to drive all the way to homestead for anything. Everything you want and need for a great family experience is right here.

What an great incredible experience @ Jesse Williams Ranch! Love the horses, the staff is great. Jodee and Jesse are amazing patient and take great care of the horses and lessons. Cannot wait to go next week and go to MORE EVENTS!

My wife and I went on 5÷12÷15 and had an amazing time. I rode horses before, but this was my wife’s first time. Helen and Yvonne were fantastic instructors; very knowledgable about horseback riding. If you’re looking for a place to go Horseback riding, don’t look any further, Jessie Williams Ranch is the BEST! We are going back soon!

I practically showed up at the ranch with my boyfriend and son and got the best reception. Jesse gave my son, Luis the most amazing experience. He was walking the horses into their stalls, he was talking to them and learning how to handle them and getting Hewey ready for riding. I had a blast feeding everyone apples and spending some time with each and everyone of the horses. Helen was wonderful! We had a great time getting to know her. Each of us took turns riding and then washing Hewey down. I would totally recommend this place to any family with kids.

I went with my 7 years old grandson and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Jesse Williams Ranch.

What can I say, Jesse’s ranch is a delight to visit. I take my parrot with me and spend the afternoons walking around, talking with all the really nice folks, petting the horses and just enjoying the good olé outdoors. I took a friend of mine also named Jesse on a Sunday morning. Well, Jesse (ranch owner) took it upon himself to give my friend a grand tour and even shared how well trained his beautifil pinto is. thanks Jesse. I will probably bring Elvis this weekend.

From aligators to albino raccoons, this place has it all. The staff were super friendly during the horseback lessons, and I learned a lot. definitely going back!

I visited Jesse’s Ranch with my 2 children a few weeks ago and what an experience! This was our third time there and we always make sure to go there whenever we are in Miami. There are amazing exotic animals to see, feed and touch. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. My children were able to brush and give the horses a bath. Jesse himself is so full of knowledge and promotes you and your children to get up close and personal with the animals. If we lived in Florida, I would definitely sign up my children for the horse riding academy. Such personal service! We were in Miami for a week and my children’s favorite part was going to Jesse’s Ranch. This is a must when you are in Miami! Can’t wait to go back. Bring your camera! You will see things here that you won’t see anywhere else!

Woke up Saturday morning got the family ready and out the door we went looking for something different to do around the neighborhood, my 2 year old son kept yelling for horses and after finding this location on Unilocal gave them a call and off we were.
Once arrived we were greeted by Jesse himself, Jaime aka «Uncle Joe» and Yvonne the nicest people ever. We had a private tour of the ranch, got to see the different animals that live there from Gators to Leimers to Zebras this place was awesome. My son of course was enjoying the tour but he kept asking for the hordes so off we went to the horse stables, there we were introduced to MJ, M&M, Reba and many more. After a couple of refreshments out came a young horse ready to be ridden just for my little man and that is how we ended the afternoon with a great horseback riding session and a great experience.
I can guarantee that me and the family will be back a few times a year. Thanks to the Team at Jesses Wild Ranch you guys are great.
