About 2 weeks ago I drove down Federal Highway in search for some food and I remembered this amazing smell as I drove around the back road or Publix’s. I stopped to chat w/new friend James as he offered me a piece of meat with some BBQ sauce that left me wanting more. The food was great, the price was worth the($ 8.00) for a sandwhich. Didn’t get to try all the food, YET… But guarantee I will be back for more… Wherever you are, it’ worth the drive.

ENGLISH — SPANISH —— INGLES — ESPAñOL Sunday morning, still starving from a night out… actually two night out! You know, dancing give you that need of «solid» food. So, I happen to stop at Publix and a very know nice smell was there as soon as I step out of the car. James receive me with a warm welcome, and a big smile. He is a nice guy and character. Is great to spend some time there. If you have the option, stay! Just got a small portion(after all I was going to a BBQ later, but I was needing some food then!). I got what James call sandwich($ 7), three ribs, 2 slides of bread = happiness. The BBQ is home made, sweet with a spice hint, that last long. I enjoy having my ribs at the spot, although there is no sits, there is a perfect wall to sit. — — — - Domingo a la mañana, con hambre de salir el sabado a la noche y el viernes a la noche, por que no admitirlo! Despues de tanto baile y noche, la verdad que necesitaba comida consistente. Al hacer una parada en Publix, un olor conocido me estaba esperando. BBQ! Sabia que mas tarde tenia un BBQ, pero necesitaba algo de comida en ese momento. James es un personaje, muy buena gente con quien da placer cambiar unas palabras y disfrutar como atiende a todos con una sonrisa y no se molesta en ofrecer muestras gratis. Pedi lo que James llama sandwich($ 7) que son tres costillas y dos panes. Un placer! El BBQ casero es dulce y con un toque de picante, pero muy poquito, lo suficiente para dejar un muy buen sabor en la boca por un largo rato. Totalmente recomendable, si tienen la posibidad coman ahi. No tiene sillas pero hay una pared que separa Walgrens y Publix, que es muy comoda.

this is how it goes… its saturday night and im at my friends studio, at the bake house. we get a little hungry and talk about grilling some stuff. good idea. so we go to publix on biscayne and 48th street … james was chillin on the west side of the parking lot… i just had to go look. he lets me try a piece of rib and im immediately sold. so is my friend. 23 $ for the full rack. deal. james is a character, very animated guy. he would crack jokes with us and every other customer. hes at this particular location on friday, saturday and sunday nights. james is the guy from the green market on 66th street and biscayne. hes also at las olas blvd. my friend and i ate ribs for hours. good stuff. worth every penny. i know i will be back again sometime cause its just a good deal. want ribs? go say wassup to james. hell hook you up.
