History

Established in 2008.

After teaching music classes all over New York and Miami, Jamie started «Jam with Jamie and Friends,» a group of children’s musicians who provide musical entertainment for birthday parties and playgroups. Jam with Jamie and Friends provides interactive jam sessions with all the classic kid favorites and oldies, rock, and top 40 tunes. A favorite of Time Out Kids, Big City Moms, Daily Candy Kids, and Diva Moms, Jam with Jamie and Friends performs in New York, Middle Tennessee, South Florida, and Southern California, Texas, and Chicago.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jamie has been working with children of all ages as an actress, teacher, and entertainer for the past ten years. She has taught numerous music and movement classes in Miami, Florida and at Citibabes and Kaplan Nursery School in New York City. Before moving to New York, Jamie studied theatre at the University of Texas at Austin and taught music at various summer camps.

Jamie has also performed in many off-​broadway children’s theater productions, most recently as the Rock and Roll Granny in Laurie Berkners’ new musical, «Wanda’s Monster.»
