High Grade Sound & Security

Great place, the office is open and does not have that buzz u in feature, office set-​up makes u feel welcome. Walked in to get an alarm and was so please with the owner, workers and the location that i got more stuff done.
Windshield tinted, it came out pretty good.
Music tune, i already have i sub, radio, component speaker and just needed to tune, he took his time and did not rush. Also to say, it was the only shop that did not recommended extra stuff, i been to one that recommended $ 3000 worth of stuff, when my system already sound really good.
Took time to identify the specs of each item of my system and the knowledge he had on beyma speakers was great experience.

I made a Unilocal account to write this. I’ve been coming to High Grade and Sound quite a couple of times to keep upgrading my sound system on my Camry. Santiago, the owner, has been nothing but courteous, patient and professional the entire time.
Santiago, helped me pick out My components for the sound system from sub to tweeters. He also gave me a great deal on a security alarm to replace my old busted one. He even went out of his way to accommodate some extra things I wanted to do that really weren’t within the scope of work.
The prices were very competitive and all within my budget. He even looked up prices for me on tires and rims
Ricardo, the man that installed the system, did an amazing job running the cables and explaining to me what he was doing step for step.
Santiago’s shop is very clean, organized and the staff are really friendly and great to talk to.
If you are looking for good work, great service and an amazing sound system then High Grade Sound and Security is the place I’d recommend. Hands down, no hesitation.
Also, from sitting at his shop and looking at the beautiful cars coming in, all the tints and graphic designs plus wrapping look amazing. I’ve already got my quote for when I replace my tints.

I had a set of door speakers and rear speakers installed a while back by these guys, first off, it took about 2 hours to complete, which wasn’t the biggest offense. The biggest problem was that the wiring in the trunk for the 6×9’s was left hanging, moreover, a while after that I noticed door molding screws missing as well. Shoddy work, won’t go back.

I looked around for tint and car audio installers in Kendall. High grade sound and security provided excellent customer service, was very honest about the price and product provided. They computer cut tints! None of that manual cutting and tint paper cuttings all over the car. I was also looking for an installation of an amplifier and subwoofer and based on my experience today I am returning tomorrow morning to drop of my car.

Owner is just plain rude. Their work is mediocre at best. I’ve had issues with the AC in my car after they have removed my dash. They didn’t bother putting the dash back correctly so the AC control were misaligned. It took a very inconvenient trip to the dealer to fix. Issue could have easily been avoided with a little bit of care in their work. But that was a honest mistake, that’s not why they deserve 1 star. It’s the owners attitude that will keep me from ever returning. Even after that incident, I still was bringing another car to have some work done and got treated so rudely, like he’s doing me a favor by bringing him work. Rest assured, I (or anyone I know) will never be stepping foot in there again.

Great product, great service and a fair price — a combination hard to find in Miami. Found these guys on here and glad I went with them. They took care of my wife’s 2016 Mazda CX-​5.

Made an appointment yesterday for this morning at 930AM, being in the military and having a good work ethic I arrived ON TIME! Unfortunately I can’t say the same for this «business owner», who arrived 20 minutes later.
I even gave them some extra time to settle in before walking in. When I walked in I mentioned my 930 appointment in which they looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language (actually in Miami, English IS a foreign language) they insisted that I had not only called the wrong number, but that I was also at the wrong location. Lmao!
I took my phone out and repeated the business phone number out loud in which they confirmed that I did in fact call them. Finally the confused and disoriented «owner» remembered our conversation yesterday. We proceeded outside to talk business and all I heard was how much work my request would entail, never mind he’s getting paid for it. Then he begins to give me a lesson in road safety in regards to dark window tint. I got in my car and left, I have no idea how people in Miami stay in business with such poor work ethic.
Skip it! Go somewhere else, believe me.

I phoned this business for information on backup cameras and keyless entry system on two vehicles. I spoke to two people and neither could speak a word of English.
The second one mumbled something about Santiago. A city or a person? LOL
They should post a sign, «English Speakers — Go AWAY!!»

Excellent service! I was in and out. I don’t know about the other reviews that said that the employees here were rude, I personally did not have that encounter. They were honest and up front, they matched my new car’ stints and within a couple of minutes they were already reprinted and ready to go, yes, I said printed! These guys ask for the model of your vehicle, they pull up all your widows via a program in a computer attached to an industrial printer/​cutter. They feed the tint and within seconds the film is ready to be placed. I highly recommend this shop from now on for all your car needs.

Meh. The tints are nice and the product they use is the top out there, and for all people out there who really dislike a warm greeting, a little eye contact, a guarantee on your service and general manners from the employees, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! THEY HAVE NONE OF THAT BS KINDNESS EVERYONE HATES. Better speak Spanish too or you get to play phone tag while the owner translates. If you’re lucky, as a bonus, the owner will insult you and insinuate that your a liar. Then, you can go inside your newly tinted car just in time to cry from frustration, but don’t worry, the tints have you covered, and no one will see you. I mean its just a great time overall.

I wanted to add another review for my recent visit to High Grade! I dropped off my car on my day off at 1:30pm and was having 2 amplifiers, dvd headunit, component speakers and subwoofer installed. Santiago was very professional and gave me the best price out of all the stereo places around Miami. Not only did he get the job done but he exceeded my expectations. They worked until the job was finished and I left happy!!! I will go back in a heart beat! My car sounds ten times better and cant wait too drive around Miami enjoying my new system. I called High Grade Sound and Security in the morning and received a quote over the phone and an appointment the same day. Santiago was great, he took the time to go over the different tint options, warranties, etc and then took my car right in. They were quick and fair with the price as compared to what I researched. I would definitely return in the future if need be.

I’ve taken all of my cars here for tinting. They do a good job. You are getting quality product. Just make sure you got a ride, it’s in a hole in the wall by the airport.

I had my Mercedes c250 tints put on this past Friday. Santiago took off the old tints (which were not of legal color and which I got a ticket for) and put some fresh tints on which gave my car the sunblock that I wanted at the legal percent.
He was very nice and I’ve already recommended him to others.

1^st off great customer service! Walked through the door and was greeted and helped right away. The job took about an hour long but that doesn’t matter with their comfortable lounge area and TV. The tints are exactly what I was looking for and the price was very reasonable. Will be coming back for future tint needs!

Quick, friendly service. High Grade deserves all the 5 star reviews. Unlike the last place I used for tinting, I was treated with respect and was able to enjoy a clean, air conditioned waiting area. The price was competitive and I was lucky enough to find a coupon on Unilocal saving me $ 15. The work was quality and I plan on returning in 3 years with my next car. I’m also more than willing to recommend this business to my friends. With a good business ethic like this company has, I wish them much success. Try them out!

I made a same-​day appointment for window tints on my vehicle here, and the finished product looks great. The entire process took a little over an hour (I called to make an appointment around 9:30am and was out of the shop by 12:30pm). Prices are reasonable, and the entire staff was extremely professional. I will be using High Grade Sound & Security from now on.

Had my car tints at this place on saturday; however, they ran out of film for the back window so we scheduled an appointment for today. I went today and sure enough they completed the job. Mike is really nice and friendly. They do a lot more than just tints so check them out.
