$ 61 for a mani pedi, being from Houston, I expected on par service for on par prices. The staff were friendly enough. Spoke largely to each other and in Spanish, so maybe not for all I know? The owner was a bit patronizing, sexist and pushy to my friend and kept trying to suggest she cut her hair shorter than she wanted. He did it anyway and at the end he danced on thin ice with how much he took off her hair. I wasn’t happy with my mani pedi really at all. She cut the cuticle on my big toe and had a lot of bleeding. One foot seems ok, the other she seems to have done ¾’s of my nails leaving the left side of them without paint. My fingernails OPI gelish are abysmal. Ugh. Recommended to me by the intercontinental concierge. I wish I’d gone elsewhere!

DONOTATTEMPTTHISPLACE! if I could give this place a «no star» I would. seriously the WORST and absolutely WORST pedicure I got in my life! I flew in from California to go on a cruise, I was running late so I decided to do my pedicure in Miami instead of rushing around to get one done in CA. BIGMISTAKE! 1. They barely spoke any English. 2. They filled a tub of water and had me sitting on a chair, then took my foot and put it between the lady’s legs so she could clean my toes etc! That is a bit TOOCLOSEFORCOMFORT. Who does that??? I don’t know this woman! Then I had to hold my leg up by holding my pants up so that she could work on my feet. Not relaxing at all! I should have just walked out! 3.shehad no idea what a French mani was. She wanted to use this pink color that was a creamy pink for the base and white tips. I kept asking her for the darker orly color pink and she looked at me like I was from out of space! All aside, I tried to proceed with the manicure as best as i could but this girl put the base color on then applied the white all thin and crooked! Who the hell does that!!! they are supposed to clean the edges with a brush to make sure the white is crisp and clean… 4. then she took a clip to my calluses. What the hell!!! I walked out with worst toes then I walked in with. Luckily, I walked into t they Hyatt and complained and they refunded my money back but this place is SPECIAL~!!!

The owner Hashem is a crook! He quotes one price and when your done he’s demanding a completely different and outrageous amount. The hairstyle you choose is not what you will get– don’t use this salon.

OWNERSEXUALLYHARASSESCUSTOMERS! DON’T STEPFOOTINSIDE! Found this place online without reading reviews. There was NOBODY inside when i got there. The owner washed and cut my hair, but afterward he asked to take a picture of my hair to display on his wall as a style option. When he showed me the picture, he scrolled through his camera to show me pictures of naked girls and girls performing sexual acts. Disgusting. I hope this review dissuades you from patronizing this salon.

Very unhygienic! If you got the groupon, try to get a refund of your money rather than booking an appointment. I went through with it because I already trekked out there and the girl did a nice enough job, but the supplies did not seem clean and the«spa» equipment was non existent.

DON’T GO! I would never go here again. I made an appointment and when I showed up the owner, Hashem, said they were busy and to walk around(town) and come back in an hour. As I waited, I saw this occur to other potential customers. There is no «lobby» area to sit and wait so be prepared to stand. The salon is dirty. I saw them mixing hair color on the counter in their«kitchen» next to an open container of food. They were using their hands(while doing treatments) to put ice in drinks for customers. I witnessed the owner, Hashem, who does the hair be very disrespectful to customers. He treats his nail techs as slaves. The poor girls. They do a pretty good job at nails with what they have to work with. I only went through with it because I had already prepaid with«groupon». NEVERAGAIN! HERE.

I started out ready to give this place a 1 star… because the person on the phone was rude and hung up on me when I mentioned I had a groupon for their service with a «we are busy.» I called back. explained to the man that we must have gotten disconnected and that I wished to make an appointment. He took down my information and then barked at me to be on time. I made a 10am appointment because they opened at 9:00am and I wanted to make sure that they were in and ready for business — because I hate waiting. Ok — so I get downtown and the directions the man gave me was wrong… good thing I put on my personal calendar 9:30am so that gave me time to look for parking and get lost… I walked it at 9:55am — and guess what? No one knew about my appointment — no manicurist available. I was going to walk out with a attitude… but one of the hairstylists told me she would take care of me if I was willing to wait. Annoyed — I waited. While waiting, I noticed no receptionist either– I thought maybe the male hairdresser was the person I spoke with on the phone — since he was rude… but turns out he was a different person. The«receptionist» was actually the owner. Wow — he was really bad at being a receptionist — I witnessed him mess up three appointments while I was waiting. The stylist who took care of me was polite and professional. Which is why they have three stars instead of two. The one star bumped up to a three, because they apologized for their rudeness and discounted my additional services — I thought that was good business. Overall, the place needs a good cleaning and paint job and a receptionist to improve their service.

I almost never write reviews online, but I felt obligated to give people a heads up about this place before they go. I went there b/c i got a mani/pedi deal from Groupon. The lady who did my nails was clearly experienced & my nails looked good at first, but the place is rampant with health hazards. There is dust & dirt on most surfaces in the store. A bug that looked like a tick was on the arm of the pedi chair. When the technician went to grab the cuticle trimmers, I noticed they were full of someone else’s dead skin! So not only had they not been sanitized, they hadn’t even been wiped off! Also, after my pedi, another client came in for a pedi, and she did not clean out the wash basin before the girl stuck her feet in. While my mani & pedi looked great, the mani did not hold up at all & was chipping at the tips within a few hours. This might have to do with the fact that the salon only has one of the small hand fans to dry your nails and none of the UV lights. I let mine dry for ~15+ minutes before leaving but with so many layers of polish applied so closely together I suppose I should have waited longer. I imagine many people might have already bought a groupon, so it might be a little late for this review, but perhaps the health department should go & help them clean up some so they can stay in business.

While in Miami on a business trip, my coworker and I contacted the concierge of the Hyatt Regency to look for a salon that would accommodate my desire for a manicure & pedicure and her desire for highlights in her hair. We were recommended to Hashem by the very nice concierge, and it was almost within view from the front of the hotel, definitely within about a two block walk. We braved the humidity and made it over there and it started out well enough. The staff of 3 Latina ladies were incredibly friendly and helpful. Light conversation was made about where we were from and why we’re in Miami, and it went well. Towards the end however, they were rushing since they were getting close to their ridiculously early Saturday closing time of 3pm. My coworker ended up with her highlights slightly underdeveloped and not quite the shade she wanted, and before even getting back into my hotel room, some of the paint off my thumb nail already chipped off with no prompting. For the price($ 100 for her highlights and $ 50 for my lackluster mani/pedi) it was completely not worth going or recommending to anyone. I can pay $ 26 back home for a spectacular mani/pedi, and I refuse to believe that there’s not a better place around Miami with better prices. The only reason I’ve even given it two stars is because the ladies working there with us, Laura on my nails and Alicia on my coworkers hair, were so friendly and nice. Perhaps at an earlier time when they weren’t rushed to close it might have been a nicer experience.
