I have been going to this place for over 10 years! I have not found another Caribbean restaurant to compare this one too! They have the best food ever! The cook is very friendly and puts passion in his food. The jerk chicken and oxtails are the best! Their desserts are lovely too… a must eat for everyone!

Best Jamaican/Bahamian fusion there is. Stew conch, curry goat and jerk chicken are excellent. The jerk chicken is better than any I have had, and I grew up in Jamaica. Another plus is the rice and peas. They always make it with gungo peas and it feels like Christmas all over. This place is take out only and open late. Make sure you pass by here after the club at 4 am or 5am in the morning.

Maad. Open way late 7 days a week. Bahamian food with a Jamaican touch. The chef is Jamaican and kills it. Great service and very friendly. If you call ahead your food is ready on time and is always piping hot. My recommendations: stew or fry conch with rice and peas, jerk chicken or curry goat. Make sure to get either potatoe salad or okra. It’s the best, and the chef knows how to cook actual jerk chicken not just use a generic marinade bough at restaurant depot. I Iove this place and I go here like at least 3 times a week lol. Definitely some of the best food in Miami and a good meal after working late or hitting the clubs. Mmmmmm me encanto.

Omg i love this place! This isnt a dine in restaurant you actually place your order at the window and you can take it to go or you have the option to dine outside the restaurant they do have a few tables and chairs outside if you want to enjoy your meal and watch the action thats going on 79th street. lol The fried aka(cracked conch) & fries is one awesome meal!!! Tell them to add the seasoning salt to the conch as well as the fries and it gives it an awesome kick. Anyone visiting miami for the first time and your looking for some good conch you have to check this place out its in the hood but there is soo more to miami than just south beach this area is very cultured and the food is worth it for me to drive across 2 counties. I’ve had friends and family travel as far as jacksonville fl and memphis tennessee to eat at this place. I’ve tryed other bahamian restaurants one in miami and a few in the bahamas & none have compared to bahamian kitchen.
