History

Established in 2005.

Grooves Recording Studio is a brand new studio facility built to serve the needs of South Florida talented music community. It was conceived and built by the studio owner Goran Rista himself. It is an extension of GoranGrooves, an online studio recording services that have been operating for the past few years.

The concept was to create great-​sounding environment that will feel both relaxed and inspiring. Every detail has been carefully thought of and built to result in a beautiful and tranquil environment that will get those creative juices flowing.

Meet the Business Owner

Goran R.

Business Owner

Goran is both a professional session drummer and an audio engineer. A graduate of Massey University of Wellington, NZ with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance, Goran was awarded 2 merit scholarships during his studies as a top student of his generation: Rotary Club Scholarship and Ken Avery Memorial Scholarship.

After completing University degree, Goran set off to travel the world and perform as a professional orchestra musician for 2 of the biggest cruise lines in the world: Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruise lines.

He has shared stage with countless artists and has performed in many locations around the world including NY, London and LA. His credits include: Eddie Gomez (Chick Corea), Carli Munoz (The Beach Boys), Neil Finn (Crowded House), Michael Barrymore (UK celebrity comedian), Estefano (6-​time Grammy winning hit song-​writer), Ben Vereen, The Coasters, The Diamonds and many others.
