The best jamaican«fast food» around. Dont get discourage if you see a long line, they move very fast. The customer service was exceptional and they give a lot of food per plate. Will be visiting again when I’m in town.

Love the food! Fresh. There is always a line, but worth the wait. Can’t knock the price of the lunch special. $ 4.99 for a curry or stew, rice, cabbage, plantains and a soda.

I really enjoy coming to this joint. It is small but the patties are amazing! Their coco bread is one of my favorite and since I work around the area and the area having many similar patty places I know what I am saying when I tell ya that this place is superb from the rest. Plus, if you are on a budget for $ 2.50 you get a patty, a can of soda(the good name brand kind), and a huge piece of coco-bread! You can’t beat the deal they have! Trust me… go and you won’t be sorry!

look, i don’t care if i’m in mcdonald’s or the restaurant at the biltmore! i want excellent service! after several minutes, the girl put her phone away and finally realized that i was more important than the text messages she was receiving. it was the first time in years since i’d been. my dad and i went all the time before he passed on and the only thing i’d ever ordered was the Krust: a rolled up meatless patty crust. sure brought back a lot of memories but this time, i ordered two mild beef patties for a buck 50 /ea. and honestly, GK puts all the other patty places to shame. the patties are the perfect snack or meal in some cases: besides the many choices of patties(hot, mild, cheez-e, shrimp, callalloo, etc.) there are jamaican dinner entrees as well such as oxtail with pigeon peas and rice and ackee with saltfish. there are also pastries, daily lunch specials and soup of the day’s which i’ve been meaning to try but the patties …THEPATTIES!
