Description

Specialties

Florida Wildlife Management is a private organization specializing in the control of wild animals. Our main objective is to be the leader in promoting nuisance wildlife knowledge through education to concerned individuals.

Established since 1989, located in Miami. We have expanded into this division as we saw a growing problem of nuisance wildlife issues. Our staff is experienced with managing and controlling wild animals in a humane and professional safe manner, at the same time satisfying our customers wildlife concerns. Florida Wildlife Management will teach you one-on-one, control techniques to prevent the possible intrusion of wildlife onto your property, home or attic– before they move in! Many times clients request removal of the animals especially when they have entered the attic, we can trap and remove in most cases with a same day response time.

History

Established in 1989.

We are a wildlife management company for Miami Dade county and parts of Broward county. The main types of wildlife we deal with are raccoons and opossum. These animals crawl up into attics of businesses and homes, making a lot of noise. Raccoons are mostly notable from the sound of running and chattering in the attic between the hours of 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. Opossum or possum on the other hand typically are quieter yet they do a lot of scratching at all hours of the night. Duck and Chickens are a big problem in south Florida. We will capture and remove both by hand. Attempting to trap a duck is not effective. Chickens are quite wary of a cage. With years of practice Florida Wildlife Management has found that hand capturing all types of ducks and chickens is the most effective method. Iguana are now beginning to populate many properties that are near water causing holes in yards and embankments. We capture and remove iguana among other reptile species using different methods for removal

Meet the Manager

Jennifer H.

Manager

Native to Miami, I have enjoyed the beauty of our tropical environment along with all the animals living here too. Working at Florida Wildlife Management has been enjoyable. You never know what the next phone call will be about. A falcon in a warehouse, a duck in the drivers seat, a raccoon sleeping in a flower pot, an iguana in a pool, the list goes on. I certainly cannot say I have a boring job even though I work in the office dispatching the jobs to help clients.
