Stopped in here based on a recommendation. Had the chips and guac-really good! The chicken tacos had good flavor. The Al pastor were by far the best thing we tried! Highly recommend. Don’t forget to ask for the hot sauce. A great little taco counter!

What can I say? Hole in the wall places come up with some of the best food and this place definitely delivers. The tacos are cheap but they are SODELICIOUS! The line may get kinda long as the night progresses but it is definitely worth the wait. If you’re down in the area, definitely go! Go grab some cheap tacos then cross the street for some drinks. How can you go wrong with that?

This place was great! Quick service, good prices and I cannot speak enough to the super fresh and flavorful tacos! Scrumptious!

Wow. I am absolutely addicted to this place. Very authentic and just the most delicious tacos you’ll find in this city. Their only drawback is that it’s a hole in the wall and there are six seats in total in the entire place. That absolutely should not deter you from the delicious food here. I seriously have to stop coming by here. I might be in need of an intervention.

Wow! These are great street tacos! I loved the way the meats were seasoned and the overall flavor was fantastic. I also ordered some chips and guacamole. The chips were just a touch dry but the guacamole was good. The restaurant is tiny though. It has countertop seating for 4 or 5 people. I just took mine to go and are in the area. Overall it was a great place and I would totally eat there again.

Fantastic little taco shack in Coconut Grove. You can’t beat the value– you can easily get a meal that’ll fill you up for under $ 7. Along with what other Unilocalers have noted– if you’re looking for a taco with cheese you have to order a quesadilla. And they don’t charge any different for chicken or steak(so definitely go with the steak, it’s much more flavorful!) Check this place out if you’re in the grove. I would also recommend their guacamole! 4 stars because their chips are extremely salty and greasy.

I had 3 tacos. 1 steak 1 chicken 1 al pastor. The steak taco was delicious and very authentic! Don’t get the burrito. Soo greasy & has green peppers on it.

This place is a «hole in the wall» kind of place with delicious food. There are 5 stools and food is cooked to order. My churrasco was so hot(temp not spicey) I could barely eat. I’ve never had churrasco before but it’s very similar to fajitas. Very hardy steak sauce, some of the best tasting I’ve had. My lady ordered the veggie, green enchiladas. She’s not crazy about green bell peppers… I love em, they were a nice addition to my delicious plate. Great service and a very casual scene here.

This place was a great find. The chorizo tacos and steak tacos were great. The chicken tacos were good as well but didn’t live up to the chorizo. The meat didn’t seem as high quality and they didn’t have the intense flavors that many other Miami taco places we tried had. So the food quality and taste gets a 3⁄5 stars, however they get one back for being so incredibly cheap.

This is as good as street tacos get! These have to be my absolute favorite in all of Miami. These tacos get straight to the point. They’re priced low and made super fast! Their Verde sauce is incredible also! The only confusing bit about them is their menu. If you want a taco with cheese and meat in it, you actually need to order a Quesadilla. **Quesadilla’s over there are served as 3 small tacos. The difference between an order of tacos and quesadillas are just the cheese — so in short, it’s not your typical quesadilla. BUTSTILL, it’s great!!! Another pro!- They do not charge you extra for ordering steak instead of chicken. I recommend an order of Steak *Quesadillas! Ask to add pico de gallo and sour cream and verde sauce! SOOOOWORTHIT!

5 seats, delicious tacos-that is all you need to know. The staff are super friendly and the chef is right there watching you enjoy your food if you choose to dine in one of the available five seats in the mini dining area. The taco sauces are made in house and very good. Worth a trip out of your way to this humble taco place. If it’s crowded get your order to go and enjoy the outside. Great place and don’t forget to try their fresh sauces. The Sangria soda is delicious and unusual.

Very good tacos and quesadillas. Not a fan of chorizo dishes. The tortas are good. THe homemade guacamole is delicious but the chips are too greasy and too salty. There is barely at space. This spot is to grab and go.

A little hole in the wall with amazing authentic Mexican food. I had the steak tacos. They come with cilantro and onions and that’s pretty much all you need. The guy who took the order was very nice and helpful. Although there was a huge line behind me I did not feel rushed and the order was just what I expected. Glad to see that there is a great taco spot near my house. I’ve been going to homestead for some authentic Mexican tacos. A must try if you are in the area

5 stars for the really delicious food and friendly staff This place is just a little hole in the wall. In fact it’s so small that it has 5, yes 5, seats to sit at the little bar. Don’t let that discourage you though. Food is incredible and cooked in front of you since the grill is just behind the counter. I had a chicken burrito and carnitas taco. The green sauce sitting out was tasty but the red hot sauce in the frig was smokey and spicy yet not too hot. Didn’t see any restrooms so keep that in mind. I mean this place is mostly a take-away or fast stop for lunch. Super friendly staff and has a tv to watch. Soft drinks and water only

3 steak tacos for $ 5. That’s the driving factor to why I come back every weekend. The tacos are great portions, and if the right person is at the register, they know about the spicy sauce that I ask for in bulk quantities on the side. Enchiladas are also amazing. 1 less star because one of the cashiers is just really not that into helping customers, and the storefront is a little awkward. Mostly because if there are more than 3 people in the … waiting area, it confuses any one else thinking they’re in a line to order. And again, the cashier who didn’t let them know they were next, but was on her phone. Either way, I’ll deal with it because I’m used to it now. And because it’s so perfectly located across from Cocowalk and a hole-in-the-wall bar.

Popped in after seeing such great reviews on Unilocal and I was very impressed. It’s a hole in the wall but don’t let looks deceive you, the place has quaint Mexican décor and the staff was very friendly. The El Pastor gyro-style pork tacos were hands down the best tacos I’ve had in a WHILE. We ordered 2 of those and 3 Churrasco(also amazing) and had to order another round of el pastor before leaving. 8 tacos and 2 Mexican cokes for $ 24. Can’t find a better priced lunch spot in the grove these days. Definitely should stop in!

Oh no!!! Just came in on a Sunday night around 9pm and I already knew it was not the same crew. There were two young guys taking care of the place and they told us they can only make chicken tacos because it was closing time… Sad to say… because I know for a fact that it closes at 10pm but they had everything already set up to close by 9pm. I will try to come again when the old school guys are around because they cook good and they know what real tacos and good customer service is all about but for right now the young guys that are taking care of the small place in coconut grove on Sunday night(June 28th) were in my opinion plain lazy… Be aware!!! don’t spoiled a great thing by having cheap help doing tacos on a «slow» night. I was a regular here and now I’m thinking about it… So my recommendation is… if you come in and see old school people behind the counter you are for a real taco treat but if you get the two young guys who are just counting the minutes to go home it’s like going to the Calle Ocho location or any McDonalds… All talk no real food… Sad… So be aware!!! this place can be a great experience if you get the right caring staff or just plain horrible if you get the young careless staff I got tonight. So, Good luck!!! If you get the good guys BUEN provecho but if you get the young guys I got tonight, pobre de ti. Hasta la próxima!!! I will keep an eye… Because the real guys make awesome tacos. Hope I cAn come again soon and change my review to a better one like before… To be continued…

So glad I stumbled onto this hole in the wall. Got three chicken tacos, three steak tacos, one veggies taco, chips and pico de gallo all for $ 18! Most restaurants corn tortillas are flaky mofos but these thick and flavorful. Highly recommend the $ 5 three steak tacos special with a splash of fresh lime. I think it’s one of the best I’ve ever had and packed with fresh flavors. My only complaints was I wished the pico de gallo had a more tomato but that didn’t stop me from devouring the whole thing. My girlfriend and I will definitely become regulars here.

It’s a small place, right next to Coconut Grove Bank. A few stools by the counter where people sit to wait for their orders or to eat, but mostly good for take out, especially if there are more than two in your group. They have specials, like $ 5 for 3 tacos, but that’s only for steak or chicken. The others will cost upward to $ 3 each. Pretty fair price, and this place has authentic Mexican style taco, no cheese, no sour cream. Just onion, cilantro and lime, w some salsa from the squeeze bottle if you like. You can see the cook grilling the meat(i think they are pre-cooked) and warming the tortilla on the flat grill. Unfortunately you can also see that he’s taking the tortilla from a printed plastic bag. Which sadly means that the tortilla isn’t homemade. For that alone, this place is DQ’ed from my quest for best Mexican taco in Miami. The flavor is good, and for cheap eats in the Grove, this is not a bad choice at all.

¡¡Buen provecho!!!
