Great Spanish food!!!
I mostly take out because is an small place but the food is really good. They have a lot of deserts that look and taste awesome… I love they soup of the day and the serranitos for lunch. Soufflé Delicias is something you should try if you decide to go.

Our go to place for birthday cakes… Or just sweets in general! The food here is absolutely amazing, their tortilla de papa con chorizo is to die for. I’ve tried their croquetas and they’re nothing short from amazing. If you have some room left for dessert I highly suggest trying their cakes and sweets, my personal favorite is the opera cake. They also have a small market next to the café/​bakery where they sell products imported from Spain. Great to have this little piece of my motherland a few blocks away from me!

Came to this restaurant for my mothers birthday. Upon coming in you walk into a store and creep slightly through the kitchen into the restaurant. Not a restaurant you should wear a long maxi dress you might get it went through this area. Once you past the store, you arrive into the restaurant it has a home atmosphere. It’s decorated with plates and curtains. The waiter wasn’t very attentive. On the other hand, the bus boy brought us everything we needed and served our paella plates. We ordered a seafood and a campesino paella. I would’ve love if they made an effort to tell us we could stand up and serve our own paella. They kind of just left us there with our paella towards the back. The Campesino paella only had chicken and lacked the sausage. It was also very dry! The seafood one had better flavor but it was extremely oily. I understand that a paella is not a dry entrée but it also doesn’t have to be drenched in olive oil. They didn’t give us more bread when we asked. They lacked to ask if we wanted more sangria or serve us water when we were finished. I will admit that the dessert I had was marvelous! I’m going to post the picture because I don’t remember the name of it. Don’t think I would drive back here. It’s not worth it. I live 45 minutes away!

The past week was the first time having breakfast, but every time has been delicious! Need more time to return and try the rest of the menu!

Today we had
«Soufflé Delicias» dessert. And it live up to its name. Delicious!!!

I came here to buy a cake for my mother-​in-​laws birthday. They had a few different options to choose from. I chose a cake that was made from chocolate mousse and nata. It had dark chocolate pieces on top of the cake. The server was very nice, and she gave us a free candle for our cake.
When we tried the cake, it was delicious. Everyone was asking where we bought this cake, because it was so good.
I now know where I will be buying cakes from now on!

Delicias de España 2 certainly lives up to its name. I was introduced to it by friends from Spain. There is enough on the menu to suit anyone’s taste — from adventurous to conservative.
Bread, crispy and hot.
Wine, lots to pick from.
Desserts…save room.
My favorite is a simple platter of cold cuts, bread, cheese and a glass of wine. They have REAL jamon serrano (not what you get at Publix), excellent chorizo and manchego.
If you like the Spanish tortille (an egg omellette pie) this is the place.
But the most interesting part of the trip comes after the meal when you shop in their little Spanish grocery store featuring things from Spain. This is the place that people from Spain go to to buy the things they miss from home. Lots of new things to try.

I’ve been coming here with my family for the last 16 years. I’ve known the manager Ernesto for a while love the breakfast here. The staff is very friendly and very attentive to detail. I still remember when it was such a small place and how it has grown to such a larger capacity in size.

Food is definitely superb, the service was ok, it was too busy that day, it was mothers day. However, I was not disappointed. We got tortillas de papa y chorizo and it was delicious! Their croquetas were also amazing. The filling was creamy and they were toasty, soft and delicious. I recommend them.

This restaurant is a great little breakfast and lunch spot. The tortilla española is delicious and for lunch there are so many good items to choose from like their Serrano ham baguettes to their creamy soups to their seafood rice plates. A must go for business lunches if your in the Westchester area.

Delicias De España is an amazing restaurant that has a diverse Spanish menu. It’s interesting how you can see on the table a map of popular dishes from every region of Spain. This place provides you with tapas, meats, seafood, sandwiches, omelettes, wines, and all kinds of food from all over Spain. I recommend it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything is cooked to near perfection. No matter what time you enter, there’s always excellent service with their polite and personable team. Their additional mini supermarket and bakery are also organized with plenty of dishes. Their octopus could be one of the best in town. If you like fish, you’ll definitely like the salmon and trout. Interestingly, from Monday thru Friday, they always have a lunch special which also includes a soup and dessert. If you really want to experience a Spanish restaurant with an endless amount of items to choose from, then I recommend this place to people from all walks of life and all ages.

I’m used to going to the location on SW 57^th ave and I must say that location is a lot better as far as cakes go. Just purchased a chocolate cake and it tasted dry as appose to the other location where the cakes taste soft and fluffy. It must be because of the volume of people that go to the other place. We also had a Spanish tortilla which i must say was great! This location is closer to my house but it’s worth the extra drive to go to the other place… The cashier was somewhat dismissive as well.

This restaurant might be the best kept secret for excellent food, superb service and great prices. The wait staff treats every customer like loved family members!

The pulpo was perfectly cooked (not chewy, or «rubbery») & the bocadillo of jamon y queso was great. The other people in my party ordered the tabla of jamon y queso which was great.
Service was decent.
I will come back again.

Delicias is where the Spanish part of my family usually takes us for breakfast and them being chefs from Spain I think it says a lot. There is a pretty large supermarket with a lot of imports from Spain attached and even a hand carving ham station like you would find in Spain.

Rodaballo a la Bilbaina
Revoltillo de Chorizo
Tortilla — Plain or Española (Ham and Cheese inside and on top)
Filet — Medallones de solomillo de res al ajillo
Ham & Cheese plate = the win

So I only had the tortilla and the patatas ali-​oli.
TORTILLA:
Basically, if you want to pay $ 5 for a slice of potatoes and salt… this is the place.
I must admit. I am spoiled. My girlfriend is Spanish and I had had the pleasure of only ever eating delicious tortillas.
NO EXCUSE.
This tortilla had barely any egg and was incredibly salty. My sodium levels must be sky-​high right now and I already feel my face puffing up.
There are times when you have to take one for the team and just let your face get puffy. This however, is not one of them. Not worth it.
PATATAS:
Bland. There’s really no other word to describe it. Just, bland. boil some potatoes, slap some mayo on it. call it a day. That’s what it tastes like.
Makes me so sad. :(And so disappointed.
BONUS: $ 5 minimum charge for Visa/​MC $ 10 for AMEX. –_​_​_​–

Oh Delicias, where have you been on my life? There food is amazingly delicious and full of flavors from their entrees to their desserts. I have not tried one item that was nothing but delicious!

On the outside it is unpretentious which I’ll be frank, I love those kids of places because they are just waiting to be discovered!
It seems they have added to place as years have passed and now this can be seen as your one-​stop place for everything Spanish. From a café setup to a full restaurant this place has it all. And if you’re looking for Spanish ingredients to cook with at the comfort of your own home, this place has that too! Relatively cheap wines to delicious sweets that are not found year round in other places. The attention we received while browsing was great. I would come back to try how good (or bad) this place is.

Dear Delicias de Espana,
I often now find myself in your area, and have taken advantage that this location exists. It’s convenient and quick, which are 2 important factors for me. I will agree with Janine that this place can seem kind of deserted, but I don’t find that a bad thing; at least not for me. I hate eating at a crowded place and find that I enjoy the peace and quiet that you offer.
The service is always great, which I guess is attributed to the lack of patrons, but the servers are always sweet and attentive regardless. Every time I’ve eaten here, there have always been at least a couple of other tables. And the food! It’s always delicious, which is why this is such a go-​to option. From my favorite, the tortilla espanola, to the bocaditos of serrano ham and manchego cheese, cantimpalitos al vino blanco (which are small chorizo sausages in a white wine sauce), and even a cream of mushroom soup, everything you have served me has been very tasty and satisfying.
A great option for eating on the run. In and out in 45 minutes MAX, who can go wrong?! Plus, there’s the Spaniard grocery side to the store, so one can buy stuff to take home and make, and almost everything here has a price tag, from the artwork on the walls to the ceramic cooking pottery.

I don’t know if it’s this location in particular that was okay, but my last experience at Delicias De Espana I remember being a lot better. This is the chains newest location, so maybe that had something to do with why it wasn’t as good as the one near the gables.
Anyway, the place was a ghost town when I walked in. There was literally no one there. I guess a lot of people don’t even know that it’s open. Due to the lonely space the service was hella quick which is always nice. I was in and out of there in literally 30 – 40 minutes.
The food was pretty good. I came here for breakfast and I had the fried eggs, Serrano ham, toast and coffee. The whole dish was 8 bucks which I thought was a little over priced for a dish this simple. At La Carreta you can get this same dish for around $ 5 bucks. I don’t know if it was me, but I enjoyed the breakfast at the Delicias by the gables much more. I think it was the ham that I didn’t like. It had this weird after taste.
Anyway, if your looking to go to Delicias, definitely try this one out because there is absolutely no wait.
