I was on my way to a party when I got a text, asking me to bring a bottle of vodka. I happened to be driving past this place a few moments later, so I pulled in. It was about 7:30 on a Thursday night, there were only a few cars in the lot, and I was the only patron in the place. This review probably doesn’t do Crown Wine & Spirits justice, as many other reviewers appear to have given it high marks for their tastings, the knowledge of their staff and variety of things like craft beers. I simply needed a bottle of vodka on this night and was in a bit of a hurry, so I made my way over to the liquor section, grabbed a bottle of 42 Below, which bills itself as «The worlds most awarded premium vodka» and was less than $ 20 for a standard 750 ml bottle, the cashier was quick and efficient and within about 3 or 4 minutes of my arrival, I was walking out the door with exactly what I needed.

Crowne recently took over this spot and did some renovations. The location is very swanky now. Has a boutique feel to it. Very nice. The staff is top notch and super friendly and helpful. Shawn knows his stuff and is always willing to help you find exactly what you need. The prices are a tad higher than the Big Box but on par with any local liquor store. They have a pretty good selection of wines and spirits and are also ramping up the beer offerings. They have started a Beer group that meets and talks about and drinks beer. A fun place to come and get your fix.

My local neighborhood liquor store which carries a nice array of quality wines and spirits to choose from. They used to be Global Liquors but recently got bought out by Crown; however, the same friendly staff is there to help. I’ve stopped in several times with both ownerships and now recently with Crown, and I have to say their service is always wonderful. This time I popped in looking for a bottle of rosé as a gift but they did not have it. I gave the guy my budget and what the person liked and he steered me in the right direction. The prices are fair– maybe a few bucks higher than Total Wine but if you factor in gas and time to drive to Kendall you realize it’s about the same. I live around the corner so I won’t drive to Kendall to save $ 3-$ 5 on a bottle because it’ll cost me more in gas and aggravation with Miami’s finest drivers! Their biggest selection is of red wines, their rosé and whites are on the smaller side thus the 4 stars. However, they gave a nice array of whiskey from top name brands and a small assortment of craft beers. They often have a variety of tastings so sign up for their emails. I’ve discovered some great spirits here thanks to their amazing staff and it keeps me coming back when I need that special gift.
