Update: I just received an unsolicited email from a company called CanvasFab offering 50% off for their grand opening. They appear to have many many aliases. Same exact address. Disgusting. Do not purchase from any of them. CanvasMegaStore, CanvasLifestyle (also reviewed on Unilocal with similar results), CreateMyWalls, CanvasFab, MIA Design Group (ha… MIA indeed. Ran off with my money.)

I bought the Amazon local deal on 6÷24÷14 for 38.00 for a 16×20 Metal print.
I ordered my print on 6÷24÷14 and was told to expect my order in 6 – 8 business days. Well. I have been patiently waiting, and still have not received my order. I emailed customer service, with no response. Checked the website to see that it is out of order, and started reading reviews.
The company is now out of business, Amazon is still trying to figure out when they went out of business and what happened, but thankfully they are refunding the money. How crappy of a business to let you process an order, send a confirmation, but not a follow up email to say they are out of business.
How do you go through with these Groupon and Amazon deals knowing you will be closing before people can redeem their vouchers?

I, like many others, bought the deal from Amazon. That part of it was pretty easy. However once I purchased my item I noticed that:
1– I never got an order confirmation in any way. No emails or anything. Did my order actually go through? What’s my order number?
2– Along those lines I never got any tracking information. Did my order ship? When should it be here? I don’t know!
3– The worst offense: I emailed them regarding the above 2 issues and never heard anything. Not any «thanks for your feedback» email, not any acknowledgment of my inquiry, nothing.
The product itself was decent, but what awful customer support.

I recently purchased from Amazon Local — four metal canvas and 3 Acrylic Canvas. I LOVE IT… came out exactly like the picture I submitted to CreateMyWalls… great work and quality is very good… the canvas comes ready to be place on the wall and it came well packaged. Excellent!!! I submitted my pictures and placed my order in late May — I received my canvas the second week of June — Outstanding… decent turn around time as I expected based on previous reviews I was prepare to wait 3 — 5 weeks. The only issue I had was that I emailed and called the company to know the status of my order. There was no response. But who cares… i got my canvas within reasonable time and the quality of work is AMAZING. highly recommend it and will be buying soon I was happy with my order … Thank you Createmywalls

I bought the Amazon Local deal for Metal prints and was very dissatisfied. I have worked in numerous print labs and know what to expect from prints. I contacted the company and they stated why my Metal print shouldn’t turn out how I expected but they didn’t address my concern about the color being off. I can understand that some contrast may disappear. When I asked again about specifically the color being off they still avoided that and then proceeded to say I could get a refund through Amazon. They show examples on their website of metal prints with plenty of contrast and luminosity which they stated is not possible. I am very disappointed with their customer service and will not use CreateMyWalls or any other company under MIA Design Group again.

I bought online and had a great experience overall! Ordered the 11×17 metal print and was really happy with how it looked. Box came packed well and everything was great. Shipping time was about 2 weeks when the website says 3 – 5 days. Overall not a big deal but the company should do a better job of emailing the actual estimated ship date instead of using a «canned» 3 – 5 day turnaround promise.

I bought the Amazon deal for a 16×20 acrylic print for $ 28 with free shipping. It’s now the prettiest piece of art on any of the walls in my home, and we have lots of canvas and metal picture memories! We have snowboarding trips, hiking trip, and on the acrylic print, we are in a beautiful rose garden.
It took a while (as I expected since over 5,000 were sold!!!) and my only complaint was that they didn’t respond to my email when I received a tracking number that was invalid. But my package finally arrived in a very safe shipping box.
A couple co-​workers asked if they could take a picture… of my picture! It is so pretty, and I can’t wait for them to post another online deal. I’d buy again in a heart beat. I love my canvas and metal prints, but I’ll only buy acrylic from now on.

I bought 3 deals from Amazon Local and it took 2.5 weeks to deliver.
I bought a print to metal.
Once I received my products, I was extremely disappointed. I have ordered several image-​to-​metal-​print from other companies in the past and were satisfied.
The products I received from CreateMyWalls were very sheer, pixelated (I submitted a very high quality photo!). The color is very washed out. They turned my beautiful photos into a piece of junk.

Quality of print is good. Thick wood frame and tight canvas. Service is sloooooow. They advertise fast turnaround time of 8 – 10 days. I got my two canvas wall prints in 31 days. I asked customer service what was taking so long and they had no answer except they said 10 business days. Still was late on those standards. 31 days? Come on even Walgreens has 1 day turnaround. Only good thing is they replied to my emails asking for status. If you don’t mind slow service then they are ok. It was shipped in decent packaging and came Undamaged.

This is a review for the metal prints only. I bought a cheap groupon, but the product was so terrible it went right in the trash. The color was muddy and dark.
I do like metal prints, though, and would recommend instead ImageOnMetal (better than PrinterPix).

I have to bump up my review by one star because CreateMyWalls sent me out duplicates of the metal prints I ordered. I believe this was an ordering glitch on their part. I think when I called to complain that my prints were still processing after 1 month, they bumped my order to that day… But did not cancel the previous order. Anyways, both these prints turned out pretty good. I would most likely never use this company again, (inconsistent) but those of you who did already and are waiting, they do eventually send you decent prints.

My experience was great. I bought an Amazon local deal and wanted a picture made for my husbands Bday. After I uploaded my picture I emailed the company to see how long it would take to get the product (I had about 7 weeks before his Bday) I received an email back, and a phone call. The pic I uploaded did not look right (it had a white border, and only 3 of the 4 sides appeared on the uploaded image), they made edits for me, emailed me the proof for approval, and I received my picture 4 days before his birthday. The metal picture looks amazing, and I could not be happier. The fact that they took the time to work with me like they did was awesome.

Ordered a print for my wedding. First of all reaching someone is impossible. After several emails back and forth they told me my picture size would upload just fine and not look fuzzy or pix –elated …It just arrived 4 WEEKS later and it looks aweful. my wedding is in 10 days and I cant even use it. They need to be reported to the BBB for the awful business they are conducting. DO NOT… DO NOT buy anything here. Costco, Walmart and many other places do similar canvas work with much better customer service.

If there was a zero rating, I’d put this in. Weeks have passed, and I mean weeks, where I have called to speak to someone to get information for a client. Every extension is voice mail activated. You can leave a message for Mr. Mike Walsky who stepped away from his desk, or, is out of the office. Left several messages to no avail. I have to question if the company even exists other then voicemail. After reading the reviews, in retrospect, I’m glad they didn’t answer their phone.

Took FOREVER to print one metal image. Came 5 weeks after ordering online! Honestly, we REGRETTED it! I am a photographer, and honestly, this is the worse material I ever saw for a metal print. Even the backing material is bad! See pictures.

Their website touts «Rapid Turn Around Time» and that certainly was not my experience.
It took 10 business days (14 total days) for my images to be approved. (What does that even mean?!)
It took 15 business days (21 total days) for my images to be printed.
Finally it took 5 days for my prints to arrive. Total of about 40 days from placing my order and receiving it.
To be fair, I did use an Amazon Local coupon to purchase and I am sure they had to deal with a larger than usual volume, but over a month is ridiculous to me. Also, their estimates of the order times were accurate during their communication of order status, I just never would have ordered if I had known what the estimates were. (Hence 2 star vs 1 star).
Overall the product (metal prints) came out fine and I have no complaints about the quality thus far. In the end, I will not be a repeat customer due to the turn around time that I have experienced.
