Business Owner

A native Miamian, attended Clemson University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. Upon returning to Miami he passed the State of Florida Certified General Contractor’s exam and proceeded to build Miami Sunset Senior High School. Installed the Skid Pan for the Miami-​Dade Police department to train on wet road conditions, which is still is use today. Shortly thereafter he found his passion in transportation and formed Comet Courier in 1977, specializing in courier and small package work, while working out of a one bedroom apartment. He has built the firm into a multi-​faced conglomerate with divisions in local and national trucking, warehousing and distribution, international third-​party logistics, and messenger-​courier services. Currently operating out of 36,000 square feet in Miami, FL, Steven is actively involved with the Doral Business Council and DBC Forum; Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association.
