I attended this massive event for the first time about 13 years ago… and I SWORE I would never go back! I evidently forgot and decided this year I would venture out YET again to this rediculous event. We parked about a mile away… in well… the ghetto… and we were charged $ 10. I wasn’t 100% sure my car would be there when we returned… or if I would still have tires. But I do own a Kia… so it was likely to still be there! THANKFULLY I brought my husband along. I felt like I truly needed protection at this«event». Once we walked for 800 hours to get to the Cocowalk area… you couldn’t move. People were obnoxious and just flat out rude. Honestly, I felt like I was at a hot, sweaty, drunken, frat party… wait I did just say that out loud? I sound very old now… lol. What bothered me MORE than anything, were the amount of kids that were there! Not 20 year old kids… i’m talking babies on their mothers shoulder, babies in strollers, toddlers and elementary aged children. My kids are 12 and 11 and I would NEVER bring them there!!! I can’t tell you how many fights we saw break out and drunk people passing out. It’s just not my idea of a good time at all.
