This is my favorite CK location. Far superior to many of the other CK locations that I have visited. I enjoy this location more than others because 1) it is clean(I have visited a few locations that were just a mess), 2) the service is super quick(these guys make your Chop-Chop in chop-chop time), 3) even though they measure out the chicken servings, they always throw a little extra on my chop or in my wrap. I love the Mustard n’curry sauce. I can put that $#!7 on anything. I even developed my own recipe for it so I can make it at home because apparently filling a jar of their sauce to take home is frowned upon. Go figure.

The food is not bad at all, but when the have to serve the chicken they try to give you the less possible. They should be go to 3chef restaurant to learn how to serve food.

I am a regular here I come in 4 to 5 times a week and it’s not that I live close by I actually live by Brickell I just refuse to go to the one there and I rather make the drive over here! The employees are amazing they r fast and also friendly. The food is awesome and the place it’s self is very clean and the food quality is great! I know it’s not a good thing but I usually only come to Unilocal to leave bad reviews when a place upsets me but I really just felt the need to go out of my way to post how great this place is ND I can not stress enough how good the chicken is, how great the employees are and how fast they r!

Stopped by today and noticed everyone was new… I inquired and apparently management was recently swapped around. Had a great visit today, new staff was very friendly and courteous. Service was fast and efficient. Will definitely be adding this as a solid lunch time choice. Would recommend 10⁄10. Oh yea and of course the food was good.

I’m a regular customer of this place and I love their food, but a week ago they cut the chicken portion to half. So now is cheaper to go to Pollo tropical and get the two boneless breast for less money than here. Chicken kitchen now serves a small side of chicken so it doesn’t go with their name anymore. Toooo bad :(

This chicken kitchen is ok… I’m a sauce person and i have to say I was disappointed with the sauces here, theres a weird smell inside also, cant tell what it is, I come here because it’s close by though.

This chicken kitchen is fast. Great for lunch break during work hours. They have mini portions of their regular options which get you a great combo deal. You can’t go wrong here. The mini has a decent size and you can have it with a drink for under $ 6.

overpriced and less food then other competitors. They cut the chicken in half and then cut the half into smaller pieces for $ 8⁄9 I better get the whole damn breast. Ripoff will never visit a chicken kitchen location ever again.

Once upon a time… There was a place called Chicken Kitchen. It had a type of tasty Cajun cuisine consisting of big chunks of chopped BBQ grilled chicken over a mountain of tasty yellow rice and a scoop of baked beans. The best part was the curry mustard sauce they gave you to pour over the heaping Styrofoam plate filled with chicken and rice goodness. I always loved taking home the leftovers(that’s how much food they gave you) and enjoying it over some TV. Then on a cold dark day, Chicken Kitchen became commercialized and deleted the baked beans from their menu and replaced it with the«unknown» Black beans because Miami didn’t have anything versatile in their one million Spanish restaurants like black beans to keep menus non-boring. Chicken Kitchen also drastically reduced their serving size and cheapened the rice and forced customers to pay for extra sauce… This was the day Chicken Kitchen died and it sucked ever since. The sad part is people actually believe its still good or OK, like products that skim and change their recipes, but the truth is(with obvious changes) it is not.

Chicken Kitchen is a great alternative fast food. It is served quickly, generous portions, and a great value for your money. There are a lot of variations, but essentially it is grilled chicken with rice — hard to go wrong with that combo. What really puts this place over the top is the mustard curry sauce. It is fantastic! You could put any mediocre food and smother it with this sauce and it will instantly be great, lol! Not to say that the food here isn’t good, but the sauce is what makes the difference here. I would give this 3.5 stars of that option was available, but it isn’t. Consistency is a problem here. Sometimes your chicken is cooked well and is moist and juicy. Sometimes, the chicken is stringy and chewy, which is quite awful for me. But even when it is at it’s best, it is not mind blowingly good. Regardless, when you are hungry and want something on the healthy side done fast, this place is hard to beat. They also do delivery at some locations, although this location doesn’t though :(

Chicken Kitchen is a great spot for healthy fast food. For under six bucks you get a large bowl of chopped up chicken and rice. Great variety of free sauces compliment the dish and this particular shop has a nice professional lunchtime vibe. I could eat here three times a week and not get tired of it, it’s just consistently good.

If you don’t know yet, I reviewed the Chicken Kitchen location on Sunset Drive and was very happy with everything. Sadly, this location on Flagler would be the other side of the coin. I don’t want to put you through excruciating pain, but the rice was overcooked, the chicken was chewy, the sauces were watered down, just all wrong. The location itself is very large and the décor pleasant, but the A/C vents leak water(I was baptized while dinning, yuck). Me no like. Period. PS: I asked why the menu is different from the other locations, and I was told«this is a corporate franchise». What? As I am writing this review, I looked up this location on the Chicken Kitchen website and they are not listed. Have I entered the twilight zone?

Just opened this location. I like the delux chop-chop. Taste great, salsas are great, although the«hot» one isn’t really very hot at all. The only reason that it didn’t get a fourth star is because every time I go I get less & less chicken. Years ago I would get a breast, then half a breast, this last Tim I went I got ¼ breast. They took ½ a chicken breast & butterflied it. When I told him that every time I get less & less they laughed. Like I said, always fresh & taste great, but getting smaller every time.

I had the Cuban Chop Chop and it was excellent in flavor and value. I am a big eater and the meal left me not hungry whatsoever. This was my first time here, so I came in with no expectations but I left wishing there was a Chicken Kitchen in Washington DC where I live. I don’t remember the cost, but I recall it was not expensive. I do wish there was a pump of the curry mustard sauce so I could add more without being bothered to having to go to the cashier to buy more in the middle of my meal. Friendly staff, good value, and clean restrooms. I wish this company was publicly traded because I would invest :)

this chicken kitchen is just what our hood needed! this location is brand spanking new and so nicely designed. today i took advantage of the 30% off they are offering b/c of their grand opening. a large original chop chop + a soda = $ 5.46!!! the best part: self serve honey mustard curry sauce!!! this is huge for someone like me that loves to drown their chop chop in curry sauce. there are no limits to how much sauce you can serve yourself. i’m a fan!
