Hands down the best ceviche I’ve had… And believe me, I’ve been to pretty much every Peruvian place in south Florida… the fancy shmancy ones as well as plenty of mom and pops… I found out this place has been around since the 80’s and its still around for a reason. If you are looking for fancy decorated and tiny overpriced plates this is not the place for you… If you are looking for authentic and delicious Peruvian everything then THISISIT! I read other people complaining about waiting time but honestly ive had to wait over an hour in other places just to be seated… THEWAITISWORTHIT! and i only waited 20 min and my food was EXTREMELYFRESH! Love it and will come back over and over…

Came here for lunch. Had the ceviche de la casa. It was a mixture of mussels, clams, shrimp, & fish of course! It was very fresh &‘absolutely delicious! I was rushed so I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the dish. The presentation was beautiful.

Our meal started with a great glass of Sangria and some Fish Consome. The ceviche is exceptional and fresh. The Snapper Fillet«a la plancha» was incredible and the garnish is devine. The waitress were kind but slow in attending our table. But over all not bad. The food is all worth it.

I’ve dined at my share of high end and mom and pop Peruvian restaurants… And unfortunately I cannot place this restaurant in this spectrum. Ceviche tasted«different» and the Chaufa had way too much onion, taste of the seafood was lost In All the onion. I’m a picky eater so I won’t be going back to this place.

This place is a pigsty. How anybody can think this a good restaurant is beyond me. The kitchen is viewable due to a glass window running along the front of it. If you stand by the register and look in you can see the cooks cooking. While I was looking in and I saw them sticking their fingers in the food and sucking them to taste if the food is seasoned right. Disgusting. They did this to every dish before plating.

My favorite Peruvian restaurant in Mia!!! Jalea — who can complain about deep fried seafood goodness? Lomo Saltado — typical but still tasty. Not overly salty and the meat is tender. Ceviche — So great and a typical hot and humid day in Miami. Fresh with just a tang of tartness. Filete de Pescado a lo macho — yummy fried fish goodness smothered in grilled tomato and onions… so yum! Table Bread + the Spicy Green Sauce!!! — Sometimes I just crave this! The bread comes as perfect small warm rolls… and then they are paired with this spicy green mayo type sauce which gets you addicted within the first bite! Be warned the sauce is spicy and a little goes a long way… but its just so tasty… you can help but burn your mouth because you want more!

Great Fish ceviche! Very tasty and like they do it in Perú ! Fish they use is NOT gamey, which is important. Would recommend for sure

I’m giving this place three stars because although our waitress was a bit creepy, she was very friendly and helpful. But her long paused stares creeped me out! Okay, so my friend and I were craving some yummy Lomo Saltado. We were originally going to the restaurant next door, but saw the Peruvian restaurant and decided to give it a try. The second we walked in the place was empty. Although it was 7pm on a Monday night. Any who, we sat down and ordered our Lomo, the prices were fare. My friend was upset because they apparently did not have this typical Peruvian dish he enjoys. As we are waiting for our food our waitress kept staring at us, I get it. We are the only ones here, but still, DON’T STAREITSCREEPY. The food arrived and it looked wonderful(posting a picture), the only complaint I have is that the rice was separated in a different plate than the meat. I hate when restaurants do this! Makes it difficult and messy. Although I have had better Lomo, this one was pretty good. The waitress was nice enough to give me a to go box with some of there extra DELICIOUS baguette bread! Ask for jalapeño sauce! It was amazing! Be careful, they charge 15% gratuity even if you are sitting by yourself.

I went to Ceviche House on a Sunday — a day in which restaurants should expect to have a lot of business, and had horrible service. There was only one waitress helping the many families that were dining. It was understandable to have to wait a few minutes to be acknowledged considering there was only 1 person on the floor, but the waitress was very grotesque and had a rude disposition. She threw the silverware at us and would forget to bring things we asked for. I did not like that they did not serve home made lemonade(limeade) because Peruvian cuisine uses a lot of lime. One would typically expect very good lemonade at a Peruvian restaurant. I had the Yuca with the Guancaina sauce and it was very good. What was disappointing was the house Ceviche(ceviche de la casa — featured on the cover of the menu). Everything seemed fresh but the way the ceviche was served was just mediocre. The onions were cut in huge offensive chunks. The pieces of fish and shrimp tasted as if they were not left to cure in the lime long enough. It was not bad but honestly, and I hate to say this, once you’ve had Peruvian food — especially ceviche at La Perla, nothing is as good. The prices are the same as every Peruvian restaurant I’ve been to, and remember that the tip is already included in the bill even if there is a tip option on the receipt!

Love this place considering that it’s a little spot in West Kendall! Food is always fresh. Worth checking it out when in the area.

I have been coming to this place since I was a kid and over the years I have grown to love this place more and more! I always order their Jalea Mixta, this is a must if you visit this place! the jalea is a mixture of fried seafood(squid, fish, octopus etc), and fried yuca, with corn, onions and a sort of pico de gallo. It is absolutely DELICIOUS! This plate is good enough for 2 people and it always tastes fresh! My other favorite is the Lomo Salteado, this is a Peruvian staple that Ceviche House has perfected! Its always super tender and cooked to perfection and the fries are never soggy! If you were looking for a place with a great Lomo Salteado, this is definitely the place!, If you are feeling adventurous I suggest you try their Chicha Morada, its traditional Peruvian drink made of purple unfermented corn that is super delicious, sweet and tangy, try it! The prices are very affordable as well, and the staff is nice and helpful.

My husband and I tried this Peruvian restaurant a couple weeks ago for the first time and loved it. First of all, we are huge fans of ceviche and we got a great recommendation from the owner of Latin House Grill. We had the Mixto Ceviche which had shrimp and a variety of white fish. The taste was exquisite and the fish very fresh. For a place that has the name«ceviche» in it, you would sure hope their ceviche is awesome, and it was. For the entrée we shared the pescado saltado that came served over french fries. We ordered a side of white rice and tostones as well. Although the restaurant isn’t the fanciest, it was clean and the food was great. :)

Do NOT eat the Ceviche De Concha Negra! I have been going to this restaurant for several years. THe last two times that I’ve gone and ordered the usual Concha Negra Ceviche, I have gotten terribly sick. Vomitting all night. THe first time I never called to tell them. THe second time I did. THe owner brushed me off saying that I should not have had the ceviche if I got sick the first time. He refused to give me my money back. I told him it wasn’t the money but that any other person who may not be as healthy(immunocompromised), could get terribly sick. He totally discredit my complaint and brushed me off. I am amazed how little he cared about the harm he can do to others with his food. I am writing a complaint with the health department. Be careful eating there. If that is how he treats complaints, I just can imagine what goes on in the kitchen. Mariella Fernandez, RN, BSN, MS PS THis is the Ceviche House on 56th Street

Clean restaurant with good ceviche and a variety of Peruvian selection that is pretty much affordable. I would recommend to friends and family. My only complaint is that it’s located in a busy outdoor shopping mall and parking sucks.
