My husband wanted to surprise me and brought me here since we both love Peruvian food and I am Peruvian as well. The crowd was all Cuban and there was loud Cuban music outside so we settled to sit inside. There were no Peruvian décor in the restaurant except at the door entrance which I immediately noticed. The menu had a large variety of foods. We ordered a fish ceviche, anticuchos and parihuela soup. The ceviche was delicious as well as the soup but the anticuchos had too much seasoning and you could taste it on the meat. The service was okay but I wouldn’t come back here to eat. While we ate we would see the valet parking guy and the hostesses dancing outside and talking to customers… it’s like they forgot about the customers inside. Also wanted to share that the parking here sucks and there aren’t many spaces available so you are obligated to pay the $ 5 Valet parking. They don’t have the typical Peruvian drinks: chicha morada or Cola Inglesa but they do have Inca Cola. They did bring us bread while we waited for the food order but I’m used to getting the Peruvian maiz while waiting. Nothing is better than aromas de Peru for me. On the way out to get the car from valet the guy saw us walking out and immediately brought us another car that wasn’t ours. Then when we waiting for our car he took like 5 minutes to try and reverse a BWM that was parked in back of us… when the guy got out he told us in Spanish that it’s hard to find some things in cars. I’m assuming he couldn’t figure out how to reserve the BMW then when I was getting into my car a lady was backing up from the same parking lot and nearly hit me… never coming back here again. That topped it off for me.

AWFULSERVICE !!! It’s a shame because the food is actually really good but these waitresses are only there for looks. They have no menus knowledge what’s so ever and if you’re not there to spend your money on alcohol they are extremely RUDE!

This place may look little from the outside, but it’s pretty spacious on the inside. I know it’s a ceviche place, but their breakfast deserves some credit. Their breakfast items are $ 3.50 and you can’t find that anywhere else. Not only is it cheap, but delicious. The steak is well seasoned. Place was empty because I don’t think very many people know about it for breakfast. I definitely will be coming back on the weekends!

Lomo salteado was great as was the ceviche. No complaints. Don’t come here expecting it to be a five star restaurant.

I was very hesitant on going here based on the reviews. The atmosphere is definitely not for family. The people that go there are 95% men. I will agree. They are catering to that crowd. I was not ignored. I was attended to very quickly for my to go order. They did accept CC. My waitress was very friendly. I ordered and waited inside and found the temperature pleasant. It was not warm. I only ordered the ceviche 7. It was a lot of food. I found it reasonably priced. The meal was really good. It was a bit bland. I will say. It needed more lime and salt. But felt the quality was pretty good.

The ceviche is amazing, and the service is great, our waitress Diana was on point. The place had a mixed crowd, they don’t discriminate against females.

I think this last reviewer well the only reviewer that had anything positive to say goes there for the short tank top ladies at the bar! If this is your cup of tea so be it but I always thought this was Unilocal and a place to review restaurants meaning food quality and service. Honestly I went there with my friend and again… I have to agree … this is not a family oriented environment and this place was hot inside as we had to ask the Manager to lower the temperature in the place three times. Extremely loud music and that valet parking was a poor excuse of convenience as it was anything but. Food was mediocre at best. Tasteless meaning a bucket of salt wouldn’t have sufficed to make it bearable and the ceviche fell short of its glory. Go elsewhere down 8th st besides there’s ample choices to choose from where men at other tables arent starring at any anyone’s chest area!

I will disagree with the previous reviews. Yes, I would say it tends to be more for men than anything else, this because it has all female waiters with short tank tops. Having said that, they are not rude to couples as I have seen. Food is good contrary to what another«female» writing a review stated. Also they do accept credit cards. Over all a good feeling bar with less than 3 dollars a bottle of imported beer and always have soccer games on TV. Loud music which I don’t mind. Parking sucks, that is true. A so called valet parking is Un attentive and rude.

Not my cup of tea to be honest. I pass by a lot and cause of it being so full of cars and like the previous poster, men… it is hard to get in or out or even by it. The drinks are prices as you would expect to be… a single bottle the cost for a six pack and the business being valet only now it is a bit annoying. It is Spanish only so don’t bother coming without it practices and known for a decade. Dj is present sometimes with mostly once again Spanish music. Honestly I am being harsh with this review but i am not content with the place. I guess it is not for me.
