Went there last Saturday night we were a big party table(15) to be precisely, we called before going to make sure they have room available for such a big group and the did! And here is my experience: Our waitress Nashly like Ashley but with and«N» like she said was spectacular we could see she had a lot of table but still managed to give good service, food was good I ordered salmon blacked with cilantro sauce and was amazing although I heard some were not really happy they ordered a big plate of seafood grilled which they said was overcooked and it had too much calamari. Why 4 stars? I loved the service, the view my food was delicious but I still believe they could do better desserts took way too long to get to the table and music was too loud !

The service was amazing! JC took amazing care of us did great very educated funny and made my experience a lot better than everything else. First my pina Collado was terrible? How can you screw that up? The food was tasteless… had to return a $ 50 dish that was suppose to have calamari chicken mussels shrimp etc and only came with calamari and mussels. The fettuccini Alfredo’s mushrooms tasted like it came straight out of a can. TERRIBLE. I will never come back to this place again. It’s a shame because it’s so beautiful and you would think the food would be great but sadly looks aren’t everything.

It’s not hard to do better… great location, convenient. They have potential but need to work on service, a lot and quality of their dishes. I might try again in a couple of months…

There are a lot of low star reviews about service and price. I usually try and read between the lines because the meal may be great but the staff just had a bad night. Alas that excuse can not be used here. Ordered an entrée that is a fish/shellfish based soup. Based on presentation everyone thought I had ordered the best.(this was the first time here for all of us). In short the soup broth lacked any depth of flavor and the abundant calamari and baby squid were were just overcooked causing them to be chewy. Add in a few overcooked clams and mussels and you get a nice looking dish that had no taste, based on expectations. We will not be going back.

A little pricey for what it is. Service wasn’t that great and the food took a bit long.

Great view of the marina area. Food was fine. Cheesecake was great. But service was terrible. Walked in at 5 pm and there were a handful of staff and about the same number of customers. My wife and I sat for 10 – 15 minutes and no one came to greet us. I finally approached the bar to ask for help… Once we ordered things moved along, but the waiter only checked in with us once during the meal. After dinner, we had friends join us who just arrived from the airport. They wanted to order food, but after being ignored for 10 minutes, they decided to go somewhere else. We walked down the stairs to an English pub and were served immediately, and had food within 10 minutes. All in all, consider it a ‘self-serve’ restaurant. You need to get after them for whatever you want.

Absolutely the worst service I’ve had the misfortune of sitting through. Food mediocre. Avoid.

This weekend I threw my husband a surprise cocktail party here and It was outstanding! Prior to the event I was in communication with Yasmin, the event coordinator. She was amazing, she helped me pick the perfect appetizers to serve helped with the amount of servings(food and drinks) I would need for the amount of guests and she was on point. I had the right amount of both food and drinks. The hot food item was their fish croquettes. I wasn’t sure it would be a good choice but I trusted her recommendation and people couldn’t stop raving about them! The presentation of the food and set up of our area was great, there was ample amount of seating as well as space to walk around and mingle with all our guests. The service was great and the manager, Gabriel was fantastic they were all very attentive and helpful with anything we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The desert, view, and happy hour was great. The restaurant was very slow and the food still took an hour to come out and had to be sent back because it wasn’t completely cooked. Would possibly give the restaurant a second try as the owner was great!

My wife and I had lunch here on Friday and it was about average. The one thing about the restaurant is that the service is slow. They do everything in slow motion. The group behind us left after sitting in their seats on the patio for about 15 minutes. As for the food, we ordered some large Stone Crab claws and they were excellent. Easy to break out and eat with no problems. I also ordered a Caesar Salad which was below average mostly because the lettuce was a bit brown. My entrée was the Fisherman’s Soup which was huge and had a ton of seafood inside it. I give that high marks. My wife ordered a fish sandwich which she said was overseasoned. There was nothing bad about the place but also nothing memorable either. It basically did the job.

3 stars max! Recently had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. Pleasant views in comfortable outdoor setting overlooking the bay. Fish sandwich was good, fries were ok, and the cole slaw was also just ok that came in a silly small paper condiment cup. Service was friendly but very slooooooow. Restaurant was not busy. Valet parking is $ 7, excluding tip, with validation. A return here is not likely. I’ll continue visiting the Miami River location however.

View is killer. Food is great. Service… meh! The food runner brought my ceviche and spilled all the ceviche juice on my cell phone. Also I wish the decoration was more intimate. It’s too wide open, not inviting.

Casablanca on the bay is an interesting spot tucked away on the promenade level of the Doubletree Grand Hotel in Miami just a little south of what the Midtown area. I remember when the Doubletree Grand was renting out space for my college(IFAC), but that is for another review. We found ourselves at Casablanca thanks to a Groupon and the deal was great indeed. We walked in after a self-park on the street level, which took a little while, and were taken away by the beauty of the setup of this spot overlooking the bay. A much larger dining area than I would have thought, they even had a large outdoor patio area, where we opted to sit since it was chilly inside that night. We were promptly attended to and with smiling faces treated to a nice meal which included Mahi on my end and seafood pasta for my fiancé. We each did enjoy our meals and the complimentary fish dip with bread was a great starter. I had a glass of the house red wine and my fiancé had a mixed cocktail which were both a nice complement to our meals. All in all a great time out trying something new that we might have never even known existed in our wonderful city! Thumbs up for sure for Casablanca!

I was visiting Miami, and a friend suggested this restaurant as he’s been there before. It was absolutely amazing. I ordered a grilled seafood dish, everything was fresh and delicious. I was so full, but of course still ordered dessert. We shared a guava cheesecake. It was the best I ever had. And our waitress was so patient and sweet. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area and crave seafood!

I didn’t wanted to come back here based on my last experience, but i was told that changes were being made and that the food quality has improved. I was greeted right away by the manager and seated right away with very little to no wait. Eucebio was very nice and made sure we received top quality service without any hiccups. Our server was Josephin, she was more than attentive and my drink wasn’t even two fingers low and instantly replaced. Huge difference from last time that I was here. Maybe it had to do with the boat show fiasco or the past chef who was recently moved to another location. I understand how a team player can have a huge impact on the business. Eucebio brought us a courtesy platter of fried fish bites. We had small little friend shrimp which can go perfect with a beer or cocktail drinks, some fish croquetas, salty and the perfect bar bite. I ordered the octopus which its is suppose to be a huge seller. I found it extremely chewy and tasteless. It needed some garlic and salt, it was extremely tasteless. I met the chef, his name is Wolly, really nice guy, very approachable and charismatic. He is in charge of the kitchen and he makes sure that the cooks get the recipes down to perfection. I loved that the octopus is brought in a bed of two thin sliced potatoes. Wolly and I shared anecdotes together and he actually took my advice in adding more potatoes and a little more condiments to get the octopus on point. I ordered The fried hog snapper and my company ordered the churrasco with a lobster tail and it was also cooked to perfection. Service was 100 percent on point and the food was also great, no complaints about my snapper, it was exactly how i ordered it. Fried fish is not suppose to be burned to a crisp you should have a nice crispy layer but thick flakes of succulent moist meat just underneath. They have also improved the burgers, they are now coming with a thicker burger and the verges that you get are fresh. It appears that last time they were just having an all around off day. I hope they do try to continue to improve. Their deserts are really good, I had the tres leche and mom had their flan. Their espresso cafecito is good and a nice way to end a complete meal. Just a note: Bartender makes great mojitos

This restaurant is hidden away way in the back of the hotel 2nd floor. I went to this restaurant with a Groupon voucher, with no expectations(due to the poor reviews from various sites), but it actually turned out perfectly. I got a free bottle of wine from the concierge with an entrée purchase so it was definitely worth it. Service was attentive and friendly. Food wasn’t the best but it was pretty good– price could be cheaper. This is 4 star material because of the waterfront view, free bottle of wine, and good service from the hostess, manager, and waiter. Would come back again.

I visited Casablanca for lunch on July 4th after taking a boat out. The food was decent and the setting was nice. However: Upon reviewing my bank statement, i realized that my credit card had been charged the wrong amount.($ 53 extra to be exact). This was obviously a mistake made by their server, which happens — although it is hard to understand the confusion, as the establishment was basically empty, with only one group besides ourselves there. It was no big deal, so i called the establishment and spoke to the«owners daughter» who said she would call me back the next day. When she did call me back the next day, she admitted that her server had made a mistake in closing out the credit card and had charged me $ 53, but said that she«could only refund me if I gave her the credit card number of the other party so she could make it a win, win situation». I was confused so I asked her to explain herself. She then stated that I would be «participating in theft» if I did not account for the other part of the bill. Being a hospitality professional myself, I believed this to be extremely unprofessional, so I asked to speak with someone else. She said she was the only one in charge.(Hard to believe someone that inept with customer service was«in charge».) She then told me to contact my bank and hung up on me. I called back — No answer. It is extremely disappointing that I decided to patronize this restaurant, and that now my entire experience has been ruined; First by the inconvenience of trusting my credit card information to their staff and having this misuse it; and then by the terrible customer service experience I received when trying to have it rectified. The views from here are beautiful, the décor is appealing but the service is sucky and the food is poor. Meeting someone for drinks isn’t bad but anything else, forget it.
