On vacation with adult children, with lots of eating preferences and this was a hit with everyone. Service was terrific and they brought us some things to taste. Everyone raved about their entrees. One said«this is our best vacation meal yet!» High praise from this group!

Jus nice… the food is good and really authentic dishes from Spain. The chorizos with brandy and the Fabada is off the hook !!! … not exagerating and please don’t forget the sangria.

I was recommended this restaurant by friends and family and finally had the chance to come and have one of best Callos a la Madrileña that I’ve ever had, absolutely great, the service was also very good and pass it as one of the great restaurants in Miami. Highly recommended.

Just because it’s Sunday my parents and I came to eat and also since my father’s birthday is coming up, the food was not that great, at least my churrasco wasn’t, I said I’d like it MEDIUMRARE cooked, instead it came WELLDONE and the flan they brought as happy birthday was sang tasted horrible as if it’d been sitting in their fridge for over a month so we all weren’t pleased about that and that’s why my review only has the 2 stars I think it deserves. My parents seafood parrillada was good though so I guess that’s the upside to this Sunday FunDay.

If you expect good service: DONOT come here!!! The attitude, the attention, is a big disappointment! I had big hopes for this place looking for nice authentic Spanish cuisine but never again! The waitress had a nasty attitude since the beginning, he was rushing us to order then after serving the appetizers disappeared, we literally had to be looking for him, then we heard other people complain for the same reason, food didn’t cut it either, we asked for a parrillada, a burger and a paella, the parrillada was bad quality, bad taste only looks, the paella was nothing out of the extraordinary, The burger was ok but not once the waitress came to ask how we were or even see if we needed refills!!! We spent $$$$ here but never again!!!

came here on mother’s day. what a mess… old ladies parking their ass on vacant tables trying to claim them, people changing their names to whatever is being called out. all the zoo that makes for a typical miami crowd. service was acceptable considering the crowd and the food was as expected. they need to adopt a better way of handling crowds. issue numbered tickets or something…

After not making Easter Brunch reservations on time, my husband and I were in need of a place to go. After trying unsuccessfully, due to long wait times, to get dim sum, we wound up at an old favorite Casa Paco. We hadn’t been there for a couple of years and found, to our chagrin, that due to menu changes they no longer had their excellent Gazpacho. Disappointed, we sallied forth and hoped for the best — and we pretty much got it! We started off with a half pitcher of sangria which was flavorful, light and refreshing. For appetizers we had an order of Queso Manchego and the Chistorra al Brandy — brandy flambéed petite Basque chorizo, which were flambéed at the table where the flames were allowed to burn out on their own leaving the chistorras with a lovely char. For the entrees, my husband ordered the decidedly not Spanish, but very good, Churrasco with sides of Moros y Cristianos and Fried Sweet Plantains. I had The Chipirones Rellenos — Calamari stuffed with Serrano ham and onion cooked in a sauce made of the squid ink and wine. It was amazing! For my sides I had white rice to sop up the sauce and Lyonnaise Potatoes smothered in a delicious butter and cooked onion sauce. I couldn’t have been happier. By setting aside some of the sides for take-home leftovers we were able to enjoy dessert. We ordered Turron Ice Cream which was rich and creamy, more like pudding than ice cream, and their always excellent Buñuelos served warm with a not too sweet heavy syrup. Perfect! Why four stars rather than five? The service. As good as the food was, our waiter was not. He was curt, unhelpful and unorganized — at one point he was even reprimanded by an older more professional waiter for futzing with his phone in the middle of the dining room! I think we just got the rotten apple of the bunch, as the other waiters seemed much nicer and more professional. If you want a reasonably priced, straight-up, hearty Spanish meal Casa Paco is the place to go.

Every single item I’ve tasted is good! Churrasco is highly recommended with their homemade potato slices.

Came here for a big family lunch. Every year, around 35 of us gather at a different restaurant for the event. Casa Paco was chosen this year. We were seated in a private room in the back. Every time some more family members arrived, the servers seemed annoyed and impatient in accommodating us, even though they were aware of the size of or party beforehand. They would rudely say things to us with a lot of attitude. Not a good start. We ordered our drinks and they took absolutely forever to arrive. Appetizers — Serrano ham and manchego cheese, very simple — took another forever to arrive. They by far didn’t serve us enough bread and when we asked for more, they seemed very annoyed. I asked for my Churrasco to specifically be well, well, well done. I really don’t like any bit of redness. When it arrived, the entire plate was sitting in a puddle of blood. Before even cutting it open I could see the blood oozing out. I asked to cook it more and of course, they were very annoyed. Churrasco was alright, nothing special. Sangria was very watery. However, the cream Catalana was the bomb! I was very pleased. All in all, based on the mediocre food, high prices, and rude servers, I wouldn’t come again.

2nd time I’ve been here and the first time wasn’t a fluke. Great food! Moderate prices. Everything is made to order. Very fresh. Seafood is excellent. Well prepared. Great place to eat if you’re looking for Spanish food done right. Service is very attentive as well. Overall you can’t go wrong. Not the fanciest of places but the food is what matters.

Was here last weekend over a late night-ish urge for tapas. Ambience: Live music that was pretty much a guy signing over cheesy instrumental versions of songs. I was expecting buleria or flamenco/tablao. Guy did have a nice voice though. Décor: Walls are covered in Spanish artisanal potteries and tchotchkes but it is charming. Service: Our waiter had the worst social skills ever. He was polite and took our order but hardly said a word to my hubs and I. He was attentive though. Got our order right without writing anything down or even verbally confirming what we ordered. Food: Ordered the following: Entremes Casa Paco– very simply prepared slices of meats(iberico, cantimpalo, prosciutto) and manchego cheese. Nothing fancy but very tasty. A bit pricey for the portion but still yummy. Ajis Piquillo con ajo– Piquillo peppers cooked in garlic and olive oil. Very tasty but has A LOT of oil. Reserve some bread to dip into this garlicky goodness. Garbanzos Frito– Garbanzo beans cooked with ham. Very tasty and also has a delicious sauce that is best enjoyed by dipping bread into it! Buñuelos– By far, the best, authentic buñuelos I have had in a restaurant in many years! Made with both boniato and yuca and served with simple syrup that is just kissed by some star anise. Crema catalana– Also some of the best I have had in a restaurant in a long while. Actually crema catalana not natilla with sugar on top. Delicious! We only had fountain drinks with dinner and the tab totaled about $ 50. A bit pricey but a nice change of pace for a light meal. A glass of wine would have made the experience even better but I don’t drink.

Great service. Very nice waiters, our glasses were never empty. However, Ive spent a lot of time in Spain and am very familiar with their food. None of what I ordered tasted spanish. My wife ordered a regular steak with rice and beans, and it tasted great, although I can get that at Sergio’s for way less money. The Jamon Iberico was great but rather expensive for the portion. I ordered a paella and it wasn’t good at all. It tasted like cheap microwave rice with frozen seafood, and more cuban than spanish. They also only serve paella if you order two portions, so I ended up feeding both paellas to my dogs that night. Overall, great service, but food didn’t taste spanish at all. Tasted like something I can buy at blue sky by the pound.

My boyfriend has been raving about Casa Paco for a few months now. So it only made sense to bring him after his graduation ceremony. We were a party of 10&NOTHING went wrong! The service was amazing & very attentive. The food was great & no one had anything bad to say about their meal. The servers brought out warm baguettes and we ordered several pitchers of sangria. I personally ate the fricase de pollo with white rice & sweet plantains. It was so yummy. The chicken breast was tender, the potato was soft and the sauce it laid in was perfect. I definitely want to come back & try other menu items since they’re were soo many to choose from.

Very nice ambience. Décor is Spanish rustic. Ordered croquetas de béchamel as appetizer and were delicious. We also ordered the caldo gallego as an appetizer and it was as good as the other reviewers have said. For our entrees we ordered paella because we could not come to an authentic spanish restaurant and not eat the paella. They make it to order so they said the wait would be 45 minutes. We were pleasantly surprised when it arrived in 30. Hot out of the stove and in a deep dish that our waiter opened at the table and served on to our plates. To say it was delicious would not be fair. It was phenomenal. Lots of Delicias del mar(seafood delights) including a lobster tail that melted in my mouth, fish, shrimp, clams, pork etc were Mixed in a very flavorful yellow rice. Very authentic Spanish fair and seasonings. Only drawback on this restaurant experience is that they don’t refill your bread basket, even if you are waiting for an order that can potentially be over 45 minuets. Other than that, everything was excellent, including the service.

I was driving with my wife last night looking for a place we’ve never een before, suddenly we saw the«Casa Paco» sign and decided to try. Place was empty in my opinion to be Saturday night(around 10:30 pm), the waiter was very nice, knowledgeable and polite, he was and old man with a very nice soft sense of humor. There is a side store where apparently you can buy different stuffs typical from Spain(not sure, I didn’t walk in). I ask for a Fabada Asturiana and it was delicious, on the other hand my wife sk for some breaded shrimps and they weren’t good at all. For dessert the waiter recommended the Crema Catalana and it couldn’t be better, it was awesome. The reason why I gave 2 stars is because I think the owner show o something to update the place, everything looks old, to my personal taste, the place itself is not inviting at all. If I come back, is because of they way the waiter treated me and my wyfe. Walking back to our car, I asked my wife and she reply«no», but she agreed with me about the service.

We were really looking forward to our dinner here but we left disenchanted. The place looks nice inside, it has a store where you can buy Spanish products at a reasonable price. The outside of the restaurant is not very appealing, it kinds looks like a fast food type building and in need of a makeover. We started with the Ham, cheese and chorizo plate as an appetizer and the quality was mediocre. It was not Pata Negra which is the best quality but we expected more. They did have Pata Negra appetizer option but it was way overpriced. I’m not sure the appetizer we ordered was an authentic import or imitation meat made in miami which I have seen a lot of. After having lived in Spain, my standards are very high. My wife had been dying for a Fabada since I took her to Spain but she said it didn’t compare to the fabada she had in Asturias. According to her, the chorizo was not authentic, which may reflect the fact its not imported. I had a steak that had a strange sauce. It was explained in the menu as a Jamon Serrano wine sauce but it was lumpy and the ham was tough and not very seasoned. I eat and request all my meat medium rare and it was cooked closer to well done which made it chewy. I should have sent it back but I was hungry and didn’t want to wait. Our server seemed like he didn’t want to be there, he was very cold towards us and wasn’t very helpful. A smile goes a long way and he didn’t smile or offer any feedback since the minute we sat down until we left. We had a wine in mind but he forced the house wine on us and the other people in my party accepted without a fight. Dessert was plain, simple and not memorable, it was your basic Cuban dessert menu. I’m sure that at some point this was a great Spanish restaurant but unfortunately we did not encounter that.

I came here on a desperate hunt for good Spanish food in Miami. I definitely kept looking. The place was really empty, maybe because we came for lunch. But it kinda tends to turn me off when there are 5 sharply dressed waiters staring at your table and when a place tries too hard to look authentic. Their tapas selection leave a lot to be desired. Are they really trying to pass off malanga fritters as Spanish? Get outta here! Eso es tremendo Cubanazo. They’re also kinda pricey($ 11 for a small plate? Hmm.) and really big so this might be a better place to come here with like 6 people. But if you want lunch for 2, you’re stuck with way more manchego than you can possibly eat(and I love manchego more than life itself, but you gotta draw the line somewhere) and a pretty steep bill for just a few things. Plus, it was obvious the manchego had just come from a nice deep sleep in the freezer. The wine was not great. It’s not often I order a glass of wine and don’t finish it but I did here. If you make a wrong turn and end up in the Bocateria, prepare to be grossed out by the dusty imported Spanish crap that they’re trying to sell for way too much money and that no one has touched since this place opened.
