Burger & Beer Joint

In Miami for business reviews. My manager lives down here and picked this place for a team dinner. The area is really cool and fun.
The service was really good. The waitstaff seemed to help each other out. I like to see that.
I ordered zucchini fries for appetizer. They were just okay. There was too much breaking on them. For dinner they have a list of fancy burgers, like the Stairway to Heaven. It has foie gras on it. And there are a lot of other ones. Each being ½ lb. a little more than I like. Don’t like feeling weighed down when I walk out of a restaurant.
They have custom burgers. You can get the ½ lb. But I ordered a 6 oz. It was perfect. I ordered medium well. Came out just right. The had a lot of selections of cheese and other toppings. The shoestring fries I got as a side we good as well. Just didn’t come out very hot. Maybe because we had party is 11. If you drink alcoholic beverages they have a great selection of beer, which is to be expected because of the name. But they also have a great cocktail menu.
There were other parties in there that were businesses.
Overall had a really good meal. Didn’t pay so not sure what the bill ran. If in Miami a cool place to grab a burger.

Food was decent for price but when it takes a server 10 minutes to come ask you want to drink (should have just left at that point) and then 20 minutes later you do not have said drink, but instead a lousy response of «sorry she is out of pomegranate juice…» It makes me question even coming here in the first place. I’d rather pay more for at least semi decent service somewhere else, no mater how good the food may be.

I’ve been here twice and had really poor experiences both times. They have limited vegetarian options (which is ok) however both times they have waited until my friends orders have come out to tell me they don’t have what I ordered (which I had ordered about 30 minutes ago). So I have had to go through a reorder process where I was told that their best vegetarian option is the turkey burger.

Great burger recommended by our Burgertender, Sebastian. Excellent meal and Sebastian rocks.
Update: Came back for Mustang Sally burger. Awesome again. Bryn and Sebastian: Incredible service again.

I like this place for what it is… their burgers, not their beer, desserts, service or anything else. Overall pretty good tasting and filling burgers, the place is laid back and I really enjoy that aspect of it… good for any occasion. You definitely get the best bang for your buck at B&B compared to some of its burger competitors near by (Kush, Butcher Shop, etc…)

So, when «beer joint» is part of your name, the «beer list» should be current. My buddy asked for 4 different beers on the menu, and «sorry, we don’t have that». The Waitress even said the beer list was about 7 months old and they didn’t have most of the drafts anymore. What?
«Chopped» salad wasn’t chopped up at all.
Wings were not «hot”(spicy), were barely hot (temp), and the breading was disgusting and not unique at all.
Waitress was nice enough, and the location has lots going on, but other than that…
Won’t go back unless forced.

I have been coming to this place for almost three years now, and I admit I really like it. But be warned, their burgers are on the heavy side, you will feel overly stuffed when you drag yourself out of the restaurant!
You can assemble your burger from a myriad of combinations, including the meat (and it’s size), the toppings, sauces, etc. Or order one of the pre-​configured options (I like the MUSTANG SALLY (½ lb. wagyu beef, red onion marmalade, brie cheese, sliced prosciutto, brioche bun) and the BUCK NEKID (½ lb. Premium beef blend, grilled onions, tomato, iceberg lettuce wrap, tarragon remoulade, mushroom fries, no bun) when I want to save on the calories.
Also try the truffle fries… I like them, but note they have a strong truffle taste and aroma, which some people dislike.
The Maroon Five for desert is superb (fried Oreos and ice cream!!!)
The atmosphere is casual and young, sit inside or outside (great for people watching).
Staff is friendly, but at peak hours service becomes spotty… waiters are MIA frequently.

This is the second time I have attempted to patronize this establishment for Happy Hour with the same result. I ended up leaving! The bartender who serves at the outside bar is completely inefficient. I waited for 20 minutes until I decided they are not worthy of my money. It was empty inside and not too busy outside which baffles me… She was just plain incompetent. It was the same bartender from my first attempt to visit this place. I will never go back!

I’ve been coming here for the past few years and it’s always been a great place to hang out with friends. The atmosphere at night is fun and lively. When I’m craving a burger, this place always hits the spot and leaves me happy. I always get the custom burger with brioche bun and switch up the toppings each time.
Besides the burger, I’m hesitant to order anything else off their menu. I’m not a huge fan of their regular matchstick fries. I tried the duck fat fries and honestly, they were terrible, I will never order them from here again. Unfortunately it was probably just my batch that were overfried – they tasted dry and crunchy to the point of being rock hard. It was a jaw workout. I’m always the person who eats the last fry and I could care less to finish these.
Anyhow, I will definitely return for the burgers.

Food: they did it again! I knew I was getting a burger well before I walked in the front door. Actually, I knew it as soon as I booked my trip to Miami because the last time I was here, I had one of the best burgers I ever had. Second time around. Same result. I started with a half portion of the Greek salad which was a nice starter. The portion was a perfect size to start. Traditional Greek with a refreshing light dressing. Then I did the «build your own». Half pound beef, onion roll, pepper jack, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup and mustard, cooked medium /​medium well. Juicy burger. Full of flavor. Fresh never frozen. What else can I say. If you’re in downtown Miami and want a burger, there is no need to go anywhere else.
Service: got the job done. I didn’t ask for much, but they were attentive, didn’t try to up-​sell when I ordered a club soda and not a beer. Polite.
Atmosphere: on point. Music, but not too loud. Casual. Bar /​Restaurant. Perfect for a burger and a beer with some friends.
Misc: do it. I can’t give them 5 stars because it’s a casual place and the dishes aren’t all that complex, but they do a great job.

Pretty upset that this was one of my first meals after moving to Miami. My family and I went to grab a quick bite last night and instead were met with some of the worst service I’ve experienced.
–no one sat us or gave us menus for over 30 minutes.
–they were clearly understaffed so a bartender was our waitress (she was lovely and very competent, I do not blame her once so ever for what was occurring in the restaurant that evening as she did her best to change our service experience but a lot was out of her hands)
–none of the pens were working so it took forever for someone to take our order
–looking around many other tables were upset as well
–forgot parts of our order, a side dish was delivered after being cancelled and even after we paid the bill
–had to go up to the bar and ask to pay and then wait for them to find a waitress to do so. This took over 20 minutes.
I think we would have given them a break if someone apologized or seemed to care that we weren’t happy.

Great sport burger joint! The food was delicious, but the service was sort of backed up, I hope it was just bad timing. We got the Sympathy for the Devil and a Paradise City. Both were so good! The menu also has recommendations for what beer you can pair with your burger, which I thought was genius. We will be coming back for sure.

This is def one of my «when I’m hungry and don’t know what to eat» spot. I absolutely love the Rooster «burger». It’s technically not a burger because it’s chicken and it’s topped off with turkey bacon and a large onion ring. It’s so delicious! The service here is always great and I just love eating outside where I can people watch and sometimes enjoy live music. Their kids menu is very impressive as well, I ordered chicken tenders for my daughter and expected regular old chicken tenders. But instead we got fresh grilled chicken which was much healthier and tasted amazing! Two thumbs up!

Burgers are my favorite thing in the whole wide world and I am in search of the perfect one! My husband was excited to bring me to Burger & Beer Joint because he knows how much I love having a good burger once in a while. He raved about how big and awesome the burgers were, so I was pretty excited to try it.
Now, knowing that the burgers are HUGE I opted for the Build Your Own and chose the 6oz patty with the lettuce, tomato, onions, and spicy mayo on a ciabatta bun and a side of the sweet potatoes. It was the perfect size for me, only that my patty was way overcooked than what I asked for. As well, the bread bun was too big for the patty and extremely dry, so it was a bit hard to swallow. Overall, I wasn’t very impressed with the burger itself.
However, I really loved the sweet potatoes. Delicious! My husband had the turkey burger on a wheat bun with a side of zucchini fries, and his bread fell apart before he was able to take a second bite (LOL!) The zucchini fries were also a pleasant surprise, so good!
Concerning the service, it was a bit slow but very friendly. They were quick to sit us down and take our order, but after the drinks were brought to our table our waitress disappeared. We wanted a cup of water and when she finally came around we just asked for the bill.
I think I’d be down to give it another try.

We had a nice dinner here tonight and the highlight was our server. I am disappointed I don’t remember her name but she was very attentive and friendly. Probably the best customer service I’ve had in Miami. The food was delicious also. We shared a spinach salad and the Angus burger with Cajun shrimp and sweet potato fries. She told me if I ordered it medium I would come out red and I did it anyway. It came out exactly as she described and i felt bad sending it back. She was really cool about it. Not to mention she rushed my beer order in for happy hour for me at the last minute with out even mentioning it.
I had a rough day and got some bad news concerning a friend and needed some good vibes. She got a good tip. ;) I love a good burger. I’ll be back soon!

B&B was pretty good. Nothing too special, but definitely good. I had the Hotel California and everything went well together. The burger was HUGE, and I took the half home for the next day, which was just as good hehe.
B&B is definitely not a MUST HAVE if you’re visiting Miami, but if you live here, and you’re feelin’ some burgers, B&B would be a GREAT choice. Seems like a great casual place to catch some beer with friends or dates. :)

Las hamburguesas no son malas pero el servicio es pésimo parece que te están haciendo un favor, nadie se hace responsable de las fallas, el gerente no apoyó a nuestras necesidades y la peor de todos es la chava que recibe, no tiene ningún interés en atender y no ayuda para nada. Para no volver.

Les meilleurs burger sur Miami par contre à éviter un soir de match car c est du coût à né pas pourvoir discuter,

La verdad el lugar no es lo que me imaginaba, la comida esta buena pero la verdad no tube la oportunidad de disfrutar mucho ya que debi irme por el pesimo servicio y atencion al cliente, pregunte por 2 diferentes cervezas comunes que no tenian (guiness, heineken), algunos de sus platos del menu no estaban disponibles, y despues de esperar por 30 min por dos hamburgers, y preguntar varias veces por nuestra comida el manager y la bartender, comenzaron a hacer chistes de mal gusto me parecio burla y discriminacion porque somos turistas latinos, no recomiendo este sitio si no quieren ser burlados no visiten este sitio.
