So…40 minute drive to do my taxes — YES… I’ll do it every year!
Two years have passed since my first review of Bovea — and I just left the office today… I feel it was time for an update.
Last year I waited a VERY long time to get seen by Eddie (like double what it was year 1) — but that’s totally on me… I waited SUPER last minute. This year I got into the office in what I am now calling the sweet spot — I am almost scared to share this with everyone as I might be waiting in line next year haha — but the first week of April, midday is the time I am setting every single appointment here for years to come. I was in and out in about 2 hours and that’s only because Eddie took the time to really go through every single aspect of my forms to make sure we got it all right.
This (and last) year I filed jointly with my wife — got a great refund — he answered all my questions about stocks and my wife’s about LLCs and the such.
The crazy thing is he (and really everyone in the office was SUPER BUSY) but he takes his time with each client — he mentioned he was working on a ton of corporation stuff while his dad was out — still he kept his composure and didn’t sweat it — making sure he went line by line on our filing.
Great dude — and really everyone at the office was super nice. They had a new receptionist in this time — SUPER NICE and the young man who helped us pre-​fill some of our forms (forgot his name!) was also super nice. They got a great team!
Now if only I could get them to move their office to Broward I’d be the happiest camper haha

By far the best when it comes to expert tax counseling and customer service. I definitely appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to filing my income tax return and they have always maximized my return without ever being audited. I am going on to 9 years using their professional service and 100% recommend everyone to use them.

I’ve been doing my taxes at this firm for the past five years & I wouldn’t change a thing! My appointment is always on time (during tax season I book early) & if I forget anything, they can usually help me over the phone! They are extremely experienced & I trust their knowledge w my eyes closed! Everyone is always really nice– they all greet you with a smile– from the front desk attendants along with everyone in each office inside. Eddie is my go-​to, he is a very organized gentleman. 5 stars to this awesome family business!

I have been coming to see Eddie Bovea to get my taxes done for the last 2 years. I will continue to see him because he and his office staff are very professional, courteous, and know what they’re doing. I make my appointment early (before January) and haven’t had any issues. The office is conveniently located, has plenty of parking, and they even have movies on in the lobby while you wait for your appointment. Eddie Bovea knows his stuff and always tries to get us the maximum return while making sure to ask all the right questions so he has a clear picture of our finances.

This company is the by far the best in the area. They are incredibly knowledgeable and really take their time to make sure all tax deductions are applied and any credits available are inputed in the tax return according to IRS regulations. I have been doing my taxes for over 6 years and would never choose any other company to do my taxes.
Tremendous amount of experience and can help you with real estate, Insurance, opening of business, bookkeeping, and payroll options as well. There is a high demand to see these accountants during tax season but it’s worth the wait. Quality and attentive service.

So unprofessional, avoid this place at all costs! When I called for my appointment they could not see me for a month, made my appointment for 4pm, showed up today at 4 on the dot to find the waiting room packed and a sign on window saying not to knock bc they were at lunch. Who has lunch at 4, closes the reception desk, and puts up a paper sign on the window. What a joke.
The lady opens the window 20 min later and takes everyones names. I wait another 45 minutes and no one in the waiting room has been called. One guy complained and she said that he had a while
to go bc the noon appt. still hadn’t even been called.
Lady at the front desk does not speak a word of English and could care less how much you wait. When I went up and asked what the hold up is and why I was forced to make an appointment if i still have to wait she shrugs and responds take it up with Eddie the person you are here to see. There were still 2 people ahead of me and he was still with someone else. I walked out and will never come here again.
My time is valuable and when I have an appointment and I am paying for a service I will not wait 2 hours! Ridiculous, save your time and money and go somewhere that values their clients.

NEVER, NEVER AGAIN… Made an appointment a month in advance for 1030 am. Showed up at 10am found the door locked and clients standing outside. Someone showed up around 1020 and opened the door. Clients were in the waiting room complaining how «this happens every time» and ‘It’s always like this”…someone asked a staff member… when the accountants arrive and she responded «more or less around 11am»
…The tax preparers/​accountants showed up around 1130 am… then started calling in clients… I finally walked out… sorry, but TIME is something that is lost forever, and my time is sacred… I find it rude and unprofessional to keep clients waiting like this while the staff takes their time showing up. They are getting paid for their time, not me. There are too many options to file taxes out there to have to wait like this.

Eddy Bovea is the Tax King Miami has been waiting for. Super savvy and professional, his office provides services for Opening a New Business, Filing Income Taxes, Accounting/​Bookkeeping even Payroll for your Small Business. A One Stop Shop ran by a Professional… You can’t go wrong with this one.

Great experience with Eddie. He really helped me out and was thorough. I will definitely go back for my taxes moving forward.
