Well that was gross. And a complete waste of $ 15. The cheese empanada had more grease than a cheap cheese pizza. The cornmeal outside held all the saturated oils in, so every bite could be visibly wiped away on a napkin. The cheese & guava; what kind of cheese is that hard? Ham/cheese/egg croissant was the only thing worth eating but for $ 5.50 just walk to Jamba Juice for the same thing. Not sure why people think the staff is so helpful. They’re more concerned with flirting with each other. Save yourself the cardiac arrest and Keep walking, there has to be a better place in terminal D

As far as airport hideaways go, this is the best. Quiet music, back of the café tucked away from the airport traffic, super nice staff that would let you try soups(their tomato is better than broccoli imo), delicious tomato soup, free wifi, and bright lighting and comfy seats to do work between flights. I dig it.

Coffee is always hot and tasty. The baristas are efficient and friendly. The empanadas are pretty good. Especially considering the nature of the store. It is a hidden gem in the Miami airport. Quiet, hot(and cold) coffee, pastries, books, quiet. Christmas music today. I imagine until the 25th, of course. And, lots of books.

What a hidden treasure inside of an airport! The café sells a variety of baked goods and coffee beverages, and they have somewhat of a convenience store in terms of snacks and drinks, and BOOKs of course! There’s also, an area by the café where you can do some work and/or read. Definitely stop by!

3.5 We’ve all been there. Early flight. No time to have breakfast at home before heading out to the airport. Contemplating a long flight with no food to speak of for hours on end. Not fun. So, you make the decision to spend more money than you should on airport food. You’re a captive audience. They’ve got you. They know it. You know it. They might as well buy you flowers before the, well… you know. Booklink may not buy you flowers but it knocks at the door rather than honking the horn and expecting you to race out of the house. It gets the job done. Don’t be confused by the bookstore exterior. There be baked goods behind those airplane reads. Before crossing the country, I bought a brownie, pumpkin scone(seasonal), and almond croissant. My apple juice and fruit cup had already been purchased elsewhere. For airport food, my baked goods tided me over from FL to CA and they even tasted good… like, relative-to-almost-legitimate good. I’d patronize them again. After all, what other choice do you have?

Very friendly service, free wi-if, hidden from the passenger traffic. I tried the croque monsieur and it was not what I expected, it only had one slice of ham and covered in cheese. I’d prefer a meatier sandwich leave it to the French to screw up a grilled cheese. The misha cupcakes are good though.
