There’s nothing like a real boxing gym with its feel, grittiness, and intensity that simply cannot be duplicated. Historically, boxing gyms were relegated to the mean streets, the inner-​city. Our trainers grew up in those gyms where they honed their skills and survived in order to bring the genuine experience of a real boxing gym to you in a safe, convenient, state of the art facility.

As a fitness center, Biscayne Boxing & Fitness Club offers much more than just boxing and box-​aerobics; we offer spinning, MMA training, personal training, small group training, and a general fitness club for the person who wants to work out on his own. Even if you don’t want to be a real boxer, we hope the atmosphere of the place will inspire you to train with the intensity of a fighter.

History

Established in 2010.

We bring the real fighter’s attitude to everything we do. We teach you how to pick up your hands and fight. To defend yourself and depend on yourself. It’s not about losing weight, or losing anything else for that matter. It’s about winning, whether it’s in the ring or in the boardroom. Whatever your fight is, whether it’s your weight, alcohol, cigarettes, stress or even your mother-​in-​law, we’ll teach you how to overcome your fear and take control of your life. But here’s how we are truly unique: we absolutely insist that everyone have fun. Hopefully, our members will have so much fun they will forget how hard they are working.

We only hire real athletes as trainers; our trainers must have lived the true athletic experience and must truly love what they do. We aren’t interested in people who only want to earn a paycheck. Our staff members must believe in what we are doing.

I bought a 5-​class deal online a couple weeks ago and called the gym in the middle of last week to confirm i didn’t need to bring anything special. When I showed up early last Sunday morning the gym was closed. Thank goodness I just called before heading over to try again, since I was told they are OUT OF BUSINESS! Sorry to see it go, but they should shut their website down or somehow notify people!

I have been going here about a month now and the classes are awesome. They really kick your butt and I like how each person who teaches the classes has their own style so you aren’t doing the same exact thing every time.
The staff here are also very nice and friendly and they started to recognize me after I had only been there a couple of times. Overall you can tell that everyone who works out here or works here enjoys being there and the atmosphere is really chill.
I also appreciate that even though the classes are a mix of beginners (like myself) or people who have obviously been doing this a long time, everyone works equally hard and enjoys the class the same. I am looking forward to getting in shape here!

Rob Fox is no longer at the gym, but this gym still needs a five star review. I love BB’s customer service. One they keep a great website that you can actually find out how much it costs to join the gym (look at another gym website, they never have that info), and the staff is always super friendly. I highly recommend this gym.

I joined this gym about 3 weeks ago, because I fell in love with Raul’s spinning class, it is so energetic, so intense, that I didn’t mind signing up without trying the other classes, just because I knew based on this class, everything else had to be just as good and I was right!
I do the spinning about 2x a week, and my favorite boxing classes are Rob’s classes, I enjoy the boot camp type of feel in my workouts, and this is just what his class gives you, a little bit of the boot camp type of workout, cardio, abs, and of course the boxing. I know the gym is a little pricier than a normal fitness gym like Bally’s or LA Fitness, but the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the classes, and the awesome schedule (which I think is a great fit for anyone). I’m definitely a happy camper, and I plan to stay here a long time.

Definitely a place to go to get into shape or do serious training. It’s a bit small but well maintained and clean (doesn’t smell like sweat either — thank god!)

I’ve been a member of Biscayne Boxing since they first opened back in December ’09, and I trained with Mickey (one of the founders) for about 3 years before that. I have to say that boxing is hands-​down the best workout, at least for me… it’s such a great mixture of cardio, anaerobic exercise and sculpting… it’s fast-​paced and constantly changing, so you don’t get bored, and it’s actually FUN, something I’ve never been able to say about any other type of workout I’ve tried (and I’ve tried quite a few). The gym itself is fantastic… clean, friendly staff, top-​notch instructors. You can go to literally any class they offer and be sure you’re getting an awesome workout that you will feel the next day (in a good way). I’ve never once been disappointed.

This is a fantastic gym! The atmosphere is great and it’s very clean. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and the classes are tough. The class is never the same so you’re constantly challenged. BB will definitely whip you into shape!

great boxing gym. I’m about to get back into. They have great trainers and enough bags for everyone. Rob is a beast on Saturdays. Don’t let his saturday class be your first. It’s an hour and half. you will see a difference if you keep it up. They have classes for everyone schedule. Make sure that you drink plenty of water afterwards. Saturdays and Sunday classes fill up very quickly so get there early. Make sure you research boxing gloves and get the right kind for the heavy bag. About to go now!

I absolutely love Biscayne Boxing. It’s the best gym I’ve ever belonged to — the staff and members are extremely welcoming and warm. The classes are extremely challenging and the instructors are so knowledgeable and are beyond any ‘trainer’ you will find at another gym. Check out it — you will become slightly addicted to boxing, don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Im pretty sure Micky, the guy who runs the boxing cardio classes, is trying to kill me. And, for whatever reason, I keep going back for more. Actually, I kid – it’s a great workout for your whole body. Just be prepared to be sore from root to toenails the first few days after your first class. As a non-​runner (I prefer yoga), it’s been an adjustment trying to conform to the amount of cardio this class entails, but I want to make sure my legs and butt are in tip-​top shape and that’s the fastest way to shape ‘em up. The gym itself is very clean and nice. Just be sure to bring your own boxing gloves, because the ones the gym provides will do the job, but your hands will smell like sweaty feet once you take them off – someone else’s sweaty feet. Ew. All in all, I give this place four stars. It’s a great workout, if you like a good butt kicking to get your butt in super shape.

Awesome classes which mix cardio, strength training and boxing. There is also a spinning class, a real life size ring, weights and some cardio machines. This place is not fancy but if you want to sweat and get our some aggression, you need to visit BB.

I’ve been a member of «BB» for about 3 months now and I am very happy I made the decision to join! I love all the classes and the trainers are awesome!!! 7:00AM Boot Camp (Feels like a family… not pretentious or stuck up… just real people trying to get in better shape)!!! Thanks to the «BB» classes and trainers I have lost close to 20lbs and I am closer to my fitness goals than ever before!

I just signed up with them after receiving a week free in which I went to their morning aerobox class every day possible. Mikey is the best trainer I have seen in Miami and their accommodations are very clean. If you want to sweat, burn fat and sculpt your body while being motivated like no other in Miami, then this is the place for you…

Love, love, LOVE.
So I finally was able to attend a serious sweat session here at their Monday morning Cardio Box and Body Sculpting class. It was awesomeness.
The instructor, Micky, is a bad ass, the facility is spic-​and-​span clean (unlike other boxing gyms) and there’s even a spotless locker room. For those of you who enjoy cardio and weight machines, there’s that too.
For spinning aficionados, I hear those classes are stellar as well.
I definitely plan on taking this class every Monday to kick start my week with a bang.
