I’m not sure how to feel about this place. For starters, they deliver! The minimum for delivery is $ 15. All I really wanted was pizza, so I just kept asking them what else they had to make sure I was above the minimum. Their small pizza costs $ 8.99 and each extra topping is $ 1.99. I finally decided on a small pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and extra cheese, and a Caesar salad for $ 4.95. My total came up to over $ 24!!! I told him to take off the salad, but I was still stuck with a $ 21 bill. Forty-five minutes later(they told me 45 minutes and that’s almost exactly how long I waited), my pizza arrived. So, I don’t think this place has a «small» pizza; I probably ordered their 14-inch. Also, I paid for my food with a $ 20 and a $ 10, and I asked the driver for five bucks back. He definitely heard me clearly. He counted out my change in singles: «One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.» And I said, «Nonono, I just want five back…,» but he hopped in the truck and drove off. So, I think the exorbitant cost for my «small pizza» was due to the fact that 1) My pizza isn’t small, and 2) They included gratuity(or charged for delivery). They didn’t give me a receipt; they still use the handwritten tickets. Now for the review of the actual pizza! I’m not a pizza expert by any means. My toppings slid off a bit, which I’m almost certain shouldn’t happen. I could definitely see the EXTRA cheese, which was a plus, but he put the cheese on top of the sausage and pepperoni, so they were both pale in color. Also, it was a bit on the salty side. I probably won’t get extra cheese next time; I’m sure the normal amount of cheese they use will suffice! I like my rolls with much more everything: more garlic, more Parmesan, and maybe even a bit more oil. Essentially, I wanna dip my hand in the bag of garlic rolls and when it comes out, my hand also looks like a garlic roll. I really do enjoy this cheap type of pizza with thin crust and toppings falling off, moreso than the Papa Hut Caesar Domino’s type of pizza. I’d rather have too much topping than too much bread/crust. I plan on giving this place another try, now that I have a menu. This place has the potential to be a nice neighborhood eatery, as long as they can be open about their pricing. tl;dr Pros: Taste good, punctual, large portions Cons: Pricing ambiguity, salty, pepperoni not on top

This pizza, while not amazing, was much better than I expected. There is no other pizza place in this area and the chains don’t deliver ’round here either. I’ve had pizza at a place that set up not far from here before & it was pretty bad so I wasn’t expecting much from Bennette’s. Never judge a book by it’s cover — or area, in this case. The pepperoni pizza I had from here was tasty. The pepperoni was standard, cheese was not the fanciest but it did hold up well and had some bite to it & the crust had a great flavor and was actually crunchy on the bottom yet chewy on the inside. The sauce was okay, not the best ever in the world but far from bad. It didn’t taste canned, at least. I liked it. Slices are cut slim on a large but still, two pieces satisfied. Wings were big & crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Had a split order of bbq & lemon pepper. Neither flavors were over the top but they were decent enough. I’ll get hot wings next time. We had a special with a pizza, soda & ten wings for $ 21.50 after tax. Not bad at all. This is an independent, family run place so have patience when placing your phone order. There is no mood music and when they place u on hold, it’s really just the phone being sat down on the counter while they handle other business. I was told my order would be ready in 10 – 15 minutes so I gave them 20. It was ready when I went to pick it up. There’s no dine-in here and the pickup area is a tad bit small but manageable. I can’t complain about Bennette’s. Like I said, they are servicing a sorely underserved area and not giving out crappy pizza just because, so I appreciate that of them.
