Very young, very noisy, bar type atmosphere. Small plates are very good, extremely small. We shared 8 dishes between 4 people. With drinks the bill was $ 250. Way too noisy for dinner.

Great Tapas, Great Ambiance and Great food! To my surprise, one of the chefs, Andres Kaifer, is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, the world’s premier culinary college! This restaurant offers an array of culinary experiences through the lens of ultra-​modern cooking techniques, bringing a casual yet sophisticated dining. Innovating cocktails. The bartenders are eager to please and the service is friendly.
For tapas, I had the churros with shrimp and chorizo which was amazing, the pumpkin gnocchi was also excellent, and the Spanish octopus with cilantro and watermelon was exquisite (if you like cilantro). For the sweet tooth, you must try the carrot cake donuts and the Deconstructed cheesecake bites, amazing. If you’re a picky eater, you could order the Chicken Nuggets, gourmet style! If you’re worried about your diet, you can always order the cauliflower with bacon and fresh cheese sauce or the mussels & clams with coconut, chorizo and saffron, one of my favorites. If you like Italian, the Risotto with tiger shrimp is a must.
I honestly believe this is an upscale addition to the Wynwood scene. Can’t wait to go back.

Leaving Beaker and Grey and already planning what to try on our next visit! This place is doing everything right! Great service, awesome ambiance and delicious food. We had the pleasure of having Abby as our server, she was awesome. Super friendly and extremely knowledgable about the menu. We tried everything she recommended. Ricotta =light and delicious. Oxtail= AMAZING, as soft as butter just simply amazing. ORDER the OXTAIL!!! Yellow Curry= curry not to overpowering and lots of chunks of crab and sausage. Pumpkin Gnocchi= a fantastic mix of flavors!
Last but def not least… carrot cake donuts. Yes carrot cake donuts. Do yourself a favor and save room for these amazing, life changing little desserts.
Can’t wait for my next visit!!!

Thursday night is date night with the Mrs. and we usually just go to dinner at the usual spots but tonight we ventured out to Wynwood and stumbled across Beaker & Grey.
Trendy new place very well decorated with the usual hipster crowd. It was early for dinner well for dinner in Miami. It was around 8pm and the place had a good crowd but not packed we where seated immediately and had a lovely waitress give us the run down on the menu and drinks. My wife enjoyed a cocktail while I had a craft beer.
We ordered the Churros, Cauliflower and Piggy dishes our waitress suggested the Beets. Did not know what to expect but when the food came wow what a wonderful meal everything was on point and although they where using the «buzz word» ingredients for some of their dishes «Beets /​Pork-​belly» someone took their time to sever them up in a new and inventive manner.
The Churros more like croquettes had a great texture and beets where amazing even if you don’t like beets (the wife doesn’t) you will like them (she did).
To top it off we shared a dessert and what a dessert it was. Chocolate bread pudding holly &($:$:!! I am telling you this was amazing. One word «Candy Bacon» ok two words but one of them was Bacon and the other was Candy so you get what I mean. Just go enjoy talk to a bearded hipster and eat drink and be merry. Highly recommended!

I came here with a friend and it was a packed house on a Friday night! We called to make a reservation and they said they don’t take them unless it’s a party of 4 or more. So if you’re considering this for date night, show up early or be prepared to have a drink at the bar first! It is a good ambiance and well designed, it was extremely busy so the restaurant was really loud, making it harder to have conversations.
When we walked in, the hostess said probably an hour before we got seated. The restaurant was packed and then as we walked to the bar, the hostess grabbed us and told us our table was already open! So that was luck and we were seated right away.
The cocktails were craft cocktails and they were good overall. The food was good, I expected it to be a little better. I liked my cocktail more than the food!

Tapas, cocktails and more, wow! Takes a lot for me to really be impressed, the food was incredible, people who work here are knowledgable, great ambiance, the fried snapper fish was the best I have had, chunks cut out for you, beautiful presentation.

It’s so so at best.
The food is mediocre in my opinion.
The service is friendly but in OUR experience snail slow. The seating is not comfortable and the decoration is sort of confusing and does not translate tapas or anything cool.
Would not come here again although T our waitress was sweet and took her time to explain the menu and was very considerate.

This place is fantastic and just what the neighborhood needed. I came in for a birthday dinner with a party of 9. We had reservations and were seated on time. The menu was eclectic and the drink menu was very creative. During the meal one of the owners, Ben, came by to check on our meal. He was down to earth and seemed to genuinely care about our feedback. Each item that came out of the kitchen was better than the next. I suggest you try as many small plates as possible. I can’t wait to go back.

I was expecting better food coming from New York. I guess my standards are higher but definitely not 4 ½ stars. The drinks were better than good and the food was ok. We ordered plates to share such as the octopus which tasted like chicken salad (do not recommend), the sandwichitos (pretty good), the scallops were mediocre, the baked fish was bland and the pasta. It’s a nice ambience and different from your typical Miami scene. I wouldn’t come here for dinner. Instead id have a couple of cocktails here and head out to Wynwood.

Yesterday night, a friend and I had gone just to have coffee and cappuccino. We had been to a few other restaurants earlier that evening that offered either substandard service and lackluster food quality. Our expectations at that point were very low.
As we walked up the stairs, we as a server at the door do they serve coffee. He smiled, «yes we do!»
We walk into the restaurant and were immediately greeted by a cheerful hostess who graciously showed us the lounge area.
We told her that we were only looking to have coffee and a dessert, and she took the order. Less than 90 seconds, our server came over to greet us and informed us that she had put in our order. I then asked her if she had Bailey’s or a coffee liqueur to go with my cappuccino. Politely she said no, but she then offered other options that would complement my beverage. I ordered the liqueur that had the flavor of biscotti.
Our drinks came within minutes along with our wonderful chocolate dessert. Oddly enough, I wanted a light snack. Our server suggested a a snack that was wonderfully prepared and delicious.
This is definitely a good place to go lounge have a drink with friends and have a late night happy hour. I will be back.

Came in for happy hour on a Wednesday night. This is a great place to start a night out with some bar bites and drinks. Bartenders, Nikko and Matt were friendly and attentive. They made us some delicious cocktails and gave us good recommendations on what to ordered. Cocktail selection was great but I was not crazy about the bar bites. I think I would like an option of something a bit simpler perhaps healthier.
Beaker & Gray has a nice atmosphere with a rustic yet modern décor. Good music in the background. There was a great vibe by the bar. Parking can be challenging in this area but I saw on our way out that valet parking was available after 6pm…
We did not stayed for dinner this time but we will definitely come back to try it. We took a glance at the menu and saw they offer many of my favorites including oxtail, gnocchi, duck, and steak.
Will be back!

Great Brooklyn– esque cocktail bar in wynnwood.
The bartenders are great and their cocktail list is extensive. I liked everything I tried. From the delicious cold brew Irish Coffee to the Mai tai to the $ 5 Tom Collins at happy hour. Yes $ 5!!! Great HH specials until 7pm

Beaker & Grey is a little bit of a NY vibe in the MIA. I made reservations for 7:30pm on a Friday but arrived a little late. The restaurant accommodated me with no issues. The staff was kind and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed our experience.
To start I ordered a Lavagave which was amazing! It had the perfect amount of egg wash and smokiness. I highly recommend. For dinner, my date and I ordered the ricotta, pumpkin gnocchi, wagyu skirt steak, and the sandwichitos. The ricotta was smooth and creamy, the perfect portion, and the richness was cut with the acidity of the pickled fig. My second favorite item, the sandwichitos, were paired with a tangy sauce that really made the sandwiches stand out. The wagyu skirt steak was good, but was just too small of a portion for the price. Finally, I have heard great things about the pumpkin gnocchi so we decided to order. I must say I was a little underwhelmed and probably wouldn’t order again.
We ended our meal with the carrot cake donut holes which were unique. They are crunchy on the outside and soft/​doughy on the inside. Interesting and tasty to say the least. Our service was consistently good the entire evening, and our glasses never empty. I am excited about this new addition to the neighborhood!

Este lugar va a ser uno de mis preferidos del 2016. Me encantó la atmósfera, iluminación y música del lugar. El menú lo encontré creativo y a pesar que yo no como carne había muchas opciones para vegetarianos o gente que sólo come pescado como yo. Todos los platos estaban deliciosos pero mi preferido por supuesto el postre. No soy fan de cheesecake, pero esta propuesta fue simplemente alucinante.

Passed by this past weekend with some friends, had a great time! Went for some cocktails, the bartenders were extremely nice and made a drink to my liking (sweet/​sour.)
Judging by from the bar experience I would def come back to try the food.

I VERY much enjoyed this restaurant. A week after dining here, I sent my parents with 6 of their friends and they all loved it. There were a few things I didn’t absolutely love and that is the reason for the four stars, but I will definitely be back and will continue to recommend it to friends and family.
First off, I really enjoyed the look of the restaurant. I can’t really say ambience because it’s a very loud restaurant. That being said, it’s not really a good conversation date spot. They do; however make great drinks and have great beers and wine list, so it’s better for celebrations. It’s also great that while it is in Wynwood, it’s on N. Miami Ave, so it’s more accessible to the masses on a Saturday night and you don’t have to go through a parking or traffic mission during art walk or other high traffic times.
The service was excellent. In regards to food, we ordered the following: (by most memorable) — 1 sandwichito. These were DELICIOUS. 2 — curry dish. Also delicious. You’re probably thinking you don’t want to order it in a nouveau American setting but you will be glad you did because it’s off the chain good. 3 — the piggy. This was a huge dish and very delicious. The mofongo was a little bit too sweet BBQ tasting but the piggy was amazing. 4 — the octopus. This could have been more charred for my taste but the flavors were all there. 5 — I really wanted to try the oxtail but it never made it to our table. See first line of this paragraph where I say, service was still EXCELLeNT. Or the top, where I say I will definitely be back. To try that oxtail that sounded amazing.

After doing Happy Hour near by (wine) we decided that we wanted some cocktails. I instantly remembered reading about Beaker & Gray (and even discussing a possible UYE here with others) and knew this would be the perfect spot to grab some cocktails and a small bite.
Upon walking in the restaurant was fairly empty (~7:30pm on a weeknight) and we looked around for bar seats, the hostess noted that we were looking for bar seats and instead showed us to a side area known as the cocktail lounge. Perfect!
Our server Jenn came over to greet us and get us set up with water while we looked over the menu. After some discussion with Jenn we settled on the ROSE COLORED GLASSES and the LAVAGAVE as our first drinks. Both were absolutely beautiful and really well crafted, though be prepared to wait, these drinks take time and actually came out a few minutes after my small food plates had arrived.
Speaking of food, I tried the SANDWICHITO and the RICOTTA. The Sandwichito was ok, perhaps I would have preferred it a little warmer, but the Ricotta was outstanding and the presentation was great! Highly recommend that dish as it’s bursting with unique flavor combinations.
I will note that this place is focusing on the small plates/​tapas thing, which I actually really like, but can get quite pricey. The smallest (cheapest) things on the menu were $ 9…with most items closer to the $ 18 mark.
Next up, more cocktails. We opted to try a Cachaca based drink after discussing it with Jenn, and loved it. It was called the RE-​PETE and I’d highly recommend to anyone who likes fruity, tropical drinks. Also the BLAST FURNACE which was slightly too strong (Whiskey) for my tastes but should please any Whiskey lovers in your group.
The atmosphere of this place is really great. Just dark enough to feel intimate and sexy, yet busy enough to give off a fun vibe. I can’t wait to come back to try more of the food items! Everyone on the menu sounded delicious!
PS — When we left I did notice the restaurant was REALLY full! Reservations on weekends seem like a must!
PPS — They do offer valet, but there’s lots of nearby street parking.

I went back to Beaker & Gray on Sunday night because I was in the neighborhood with a girlfriend that hadn’t been yet and we were searching for somewhere to have dinner. I made my friend order the rosé-​colored glasses because I loved it so much, and she loved it as much as I had. I had the green gremlin mocktail which was DELICIOUS!
We shared the sandwichito, the pumpkin gnocchi and the oxtail. The sandwichito was delicious and the ghocchi and the oxtail were even better than I remembered. For dessert, we had the carrot cake doughnuts. I don’t even like doughnuts, but these were spectacular.
Every last bite was perfect, as was the service. I wouldn’t change anything about the experience, or this restaurant. I’ll definitely be back soon (and so will my friend)!

Chris B and I were the worst type of customer. We sat down, already a little tipsy and more than willing to heckle a bartender or five. After reading a stunning preview review from Edible South Florida, my pal and I headed here after some Art Baseling hijinx. Charles Arturaola was involved.
All expectations were completely exceeded.
After drinking a lot of delicious wine at the Made in Italy event (where we saw Charlie), I was only marginally into ordering a mixed drink. But after such a stunning preview and their grand opening this week, I couldn’t resist. We ordered the «mushrooms» small plate as extra ballast for our imbibery and asked our bartender to make up drinks for us.
I asked for something fruity, mostly dry, with an egg white. Chris had spotted one of his favorite (obscure) spirits, Kronan, a Swedish whiskey punch with heavy notes of clove and peach, so he wanted something featuring that.
I loved my drink, which was a beautiful frothy thing topped with three black (alcohol marinated?) cherries and dashed with house-​made bitters. It was everything I wanted it to be, and was mostly a deconstructed whiskey sour, if it spontaneously evolved to super-​saiyan level.
But Chris’s drink won out and blew my mind. As we flipped our collective lids over his passionfruit pulp-​laden, nutmeg topped concoction (that surely God himself would order in a bar), we devoured our delicious and complex (vegetarian!) small plate of delectably sauteed crimini and baby-​bella mushrooms… served on a bed of butternut squash purée, roasted pear, and apple-​cider vinegar. We continually called our bartenders so we could gush about how good everything was, and they were all good sports about it.
Best part? All of these insanely talented bartenders looked happy as clams.
Good bang for your buck. Stellar service. Inspired dishes.

Gluten free options in abundance. Just be sure to ask your server for guidance from the chef.
The glass noodles are delicious, as are the scallops and the octopus. My husband also enjoyed the sandwichito and the deconstructed carrot cake dessert.
From the cocktail menu, the Greenhouse was a refreshing spin on a gin and tonic, with a celery soda and mint base.
