Bay Oaks is a historic retirement residence in the heart of the City of Miami. Home to 35 seniors and a family of friends, volunteers, dedicated staff, beloved dogs, native butterflies and other wildlife, Bay Oaks is like no other assisted living residence.

Residents enjoy concierge services, the best food in Miami (seriously– prepared by three professional, internationally-​trained chefs), gracious living, assistance with activities of daily living, excursions, daily housekeeping and laundry services, and much more.

Each room is individually decorated with antiques and heritage linens, like a fine Bed & Breakfast. History

Established in 1947.

Sixty-​five years ago, a group of Miami women came together to found Bay Oaks as a place where the city’s elders could live out the last years of their lives in a beautiful, affordable and non-​institutional place.

Ever since, a board of professional women have carried on that legacy to ensure that Miami can be a model for retired living and provide a place where men and women could live our their senior years in a wonderful, individualized place.
