Established in 2015.

Avalon Medical Spa is founded by Julia Avalon. Since an early age, she developed a passion for beauty and skin care. After 10 years of experience in sales and aesthetics, as well as a co-​founding two medical spas in San Diego, CA, Julia moved to Miami and established Avalon Medical Spa.

Avalon Medical spa specialized in customized treatment plans which are not only effective but also fit the budget of every client. We combine friendly and professional customer service with effective results for every skin type and condition.

Julia Avalon believes that every person should embrace and love their bodies, as it is the most amazing thing any one of us could own. Julia is a graduate of Arizona State University and University of Phoenix with degrees in both Business and Psychology. Since an early age, she developed a passion for beauty and skin care. After 10 years of experience in sales and aesthetics, as well as a co-​founding two medical spas in San Diego, CA, Julia moved to Miami and established Avalon Medical Spa. Through her involvement in the aesthetic industry, she has gained extensive experience and knowledge on various lasers and skin care procedures. This allows her to customize treatment plans which are not only effective but also fit the budget every client. Julia combines friendly and professional customer service with her training in marketing and public relations to deliver outstanding results that exceeds patient expectation.

I recently went to Miami with my wife after a month long vacation she was in need of a really good laser hair removal treatment and I needed to find a place for laser hair removal treatments that would work with our schedule. I chose Avalon based on its proximity to my room and my initial phone conversation with Julia. My wife has been through the treatments before, and she knew what to expect but still asked all the questions anyway. Julia is extremely polite & very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife said The laser felt very similar to her previous treatments and I noticed less hair. They had an event at offered great specials so my wife tried dermal fillers and botox for the first time. It looks natural which is exactly what she wanted. Having something to compare this spa to, I would say they deserve all the five stars, great customer service and treatment results.
This place is simply amazing my wife has the smoothest legs in San Diego thanks to Julia.

I was in Miami over the holidays visiting my wife’s family for the first time. As you can imagine I wanted to look my best for the occasion, but I was unable to schedule a Botox appointment at my usual med-​spa in Beverly Hills before leaving. Upon landing in Miami we called a few places and Avalon were not only able to fit me in at almost no notice, but their Botox pricing was extremely reasonable, quite a lot lower than I usually pay :-)
The facility itself was clean and comfortable, nicely furnished but not ostentatious. I was seen by Yulia, and she was absolutely wonderful! I was a little nervous going to an unfamiliar place on short notice, but she put me immediately at ease with her calm but confident manner. She performed the procedure flawlessly, and painlessly, while carrying on a conversation with my wife and I about our trip, etc. I was, and am, extremely happy about the procedure, and the results, and cannot recommend them more highly.

What can I possibly say about Avalon other than this is the go to place for laser hair removal and Botox. Julia is fantastic and takes such good care of her clients with such a level of care and professionalism. She is truly passionate about her work and the results speak for themselves The new office is beautiful, easy to find and parking is a breeze, Not a wrinkle on my face and I am super grateful!!!

In the last couple of years, I started to drastically change my life — I stopped eating meat, I started doing yoga, meditating, going to spiritual retreats — basically I’m slowly on my way to becoming a peaceful earth loving hippy. A true hippie does shave — but I was no where close to wanting to have hair anywhere on my body. After doing much research, I settled on laser hair removal. After all what’s not natural about light energy. I chose Avalon in Miami based on their level of knowledge and customer service over the phone and during the consultation. So far everything is great. The laser tickles me to no end and I’m seeing much less hair on my underarms and bikini. I also have to admit that when I came in, the doctor was doing Botox, and he was just so cute! If only I was down to get lip injections or something I would so schedule an appointment in a heartbeat.

No one likes to admit that their good looks aren’t all that natural. At one point in time, I had to consider laser hair removal to attract the ladies at the beach. Avalon is definitely my number one pick. Their machines gave me great results quick. It’s a little zappy but nothing I can’t handle. The staff are amazing, friendly and very accommodating with scheduling even though they’re getting more and more booked up.

I have been struggling with ingrown hairs ever since I started shaving. Waxing has helped but I think in the long term laser hair removal made the most sense. The process is a little longer and a little more painful then i thought it would be, but I guess you can’t speed up beauty. I take an tylen about an hour before and that helps with the zapping. To me those 15 minutes are totally worth the results! I have 0 ingrown hairs andI can skip shaving in the morning (I’m only on my 2nd treatment). The technician is super nice and makes me feel like super relaxed (I was a nervous wreck the first time I came in) and their prices are totally affordable.

I have been waxing since I was a teenager and the pain of laser hair removal completely scared me off from ever considering it. Eventually, I got tired of throwing away money every month on waxing and decided to bite the bullet and give the laser thing a try. I explained to Julia my concerns and we decided to try a test spot to determine my pain tolerance. Not to say that I feel like Im superwoman, but the procedure is pretty tolerable and Im loving the results. Julia is super friendly and always follows up with me after the treatment to make sure I’m doing ok. No more waxing for me.

So I was in the Miami area and my friends convinced me to try botox… for the first time. You can imagine how nervous I was, but my friend told me about a place where she gets all her laser hair removal done, as well as her botox. When I arrived I immediately felt at ease, as the staff was so professional & knowledgeable. They went over all the details, it wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought. Best part is, I left with beautiful skin! A week later, my face looks better than it ever has! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I am counting down the days I go back to Miami to visit the Avalon staff and get my botox fix!
