Aspira of Fla EMH Charter School

Aspira, what can I say about this charter school located in the Wynwood /​Downtown area. My first born went here like six years ago. At the time 2007 it was a B school. My daughter was in gifted classes and excelled tremondously. The classes were small and the teachers were very attentive and we’re eager to teach. Now 2015, I enrolled my son here since I didn’t want him going to Allapattah Middle (even though, I went there in the early 90’s.) My son loves his school, very strict uniform policy which I like. New principal, some old and new teachers. They offer free transportation from certain stop areas, if not you gave the option of paying $ 40 a month for door to door pick-​up and drop off which extremely reasonable. My son decided to join the after school program which only cost was $ 40 registration fee for the whole year. The after school program offers homework assistance, free tutoring and their options of a favorite sport or other activities. Aspira also changed their name to Aspira DE/​CO. The school is also moving across the street in a couple of months to a new building can’t wait for the grand opening. I do not have any complaints as of yet neither does my son. Happy camper.
