«Artists at the Falls» was created by local Miami Artist Talia Rodriguez as her creative workplace as well as a place where children and adults could have the opportunity to express their artistic needs.

Since the doors of the studio opened in June of 2006, she has worked with artists and art students of all levels and has seen a great change and desire for art in the community.

Her studio is a member of F.A.D., the up and coming new «Falls Art District». Together with the surrounding galleries, she will continue to hold open studio nights, workshops and gallery events showcasing her work and the work of her students.

Along with art birthday parties, seasonal art camps and fine art classes for ages 4 – 94, the studio remains a colorful place which she hopes continues to inspire everyone’s inner artist!

History

Established in 2006.

Talia Rodriguez, the studio owner studied at Ringling School of Art & Design and is a BFA graduate from the University of Miami. She is a working artist in the Miami community as well as all the instructors at Artists at the Falls. She was one of twelve artists picked for the reality art show filmed in Miami «Work of Genius» and has sold her work to clients from Sarasota to Colombia! Her love and passion for art as a child inspired her to open a studio where everyone could be inspired to come and create!

Carol Walton is a professional photographer «Captured by Carol» as well as an instructor at «Artists at the Falls». Amongst her talents, she photographs for all types of events including our Art Birthday parties, designed for Macys and created, built and painted entire sets for Miami’s Metro Zoo.

Nick Rodriguez is a graduate of Miami Intl. University of Art & Design. He is our Portfolio Prep Art instructor for teens and camps. Nick is also a talented calligrapher and tattoo artist.

«With a fashionable art studio in mind, Miami Artist Talia Rodriguez transformed an industrial tile warehouse space into a long, envisioned dream; «Artists at the Falls» studio. It is a vibrant place where she can paint freely while teaching and sharing with others her passion for art.

Talia, who trained at the Ringling School of Art and Design and graduated with a BFA in painting from the University of Miami, has showed her work in galleries from Sarasota to Miami’s Design District, Coconut Grove and the new and upcoming Falls Art District. Her oil paintings create intrigue; a reverie of color displays a captivating world of exotic women, fish flying through swirling skies and of course, her favorite theme, the intricacy of love. She has also been commissioned by many to do a variety of themes from murals to portraits to superheroes.

In between her busy schedule of teaching art classes and parties, you can find her painting barefoot while classical music fills the air.
