We are a subsidiary of a major appliance parts distributor which has been in business since 2002. Appart was created to showcase premium, made-​for-​a-​lifetime appliances that highlight a consumer’s aesthetic style and lifestyle.

Business Owner

I have been in the international appliance and housewares business for 25 years. I have been fortunate enough to travel to over 34 countries for both business and pleasure. I have taken that experience into bringing items to the store which I know are well-​made, well-​designed, and display extremely well in a kitchen or dining room. I don’t like busy «in-​your-​face» designs which shout at you. Like anyone else, I like color and I think that clean, interesting designs give the observer enough to create a conversation, but not enough that they do the talking but instead inspire the observer to wonder and discuss the role of the designer in the product. A good design is a clean design that «pops» in your kitchen and just «works» every time you ask it to; because it’s made for a lifetime. For most of our products you will not be the owner, but merely a keeper for the next generation and the designs are timeless.
