Horrible horrible way to steal money out of you pocket. Ive been taking my pets there because it was close to home. And slowly but surely they have shown their true colors. Major price hikes. Scaring you with non emergent health issues that just add to the charges. I even got health insurance and these thieves were responsible to send in the claim. NEVER DID IT! When i followed back because i didnt get a reimbursement check it was too late to file the claim. Mind you i called them and faxed them the whole claim information and everything made easy. All they had to do was sign and fax back to insurance. This time i took my pet for a simple rabies and tag that was due (should be under $ 50) they took blood and tested with out even asking. I asked for a prescription to get medicine cheaper online charge for that. They offered to match the price yet hiked up every other charge. I left with a bill over $ 150!!! Spread the word this place is joke!

Terrible place. Do not take your pet there! Owners are sharks. They are only interested in how much money they can squeeze from you. I took my dog in 2 wks ago for a skin condition, Dr Vazquez said she thought it was probably ringworm, she scraped from the affected area to send it in to confirm if it was ringworm. 2 wks later I rec’d a call from the clinic and was told test had come back negative and to bring my dog in for a follow up. I brought my dog in and this time my dog was seen by a new doctor in the clinic he said although the test had come back negative he thought she had ringworm and he recommended dips. I agreed to the dip and left my dog off at 12:30 PM. The girl at the front desk told me they closed at 4 PM I said ok I would be back b4 4 to pick her up. At 3 PM I called to see if my dog was ready, I
was told it would be another 45 min to 1 hour. At 4:13 I rec’d a call that my dog was ready, I
told the girl I would be there in 15 min, she told me I would be charged $ 1 for every minute I was late. When I got there I was charged $ 13 for being late. I paid my bill and told the girl I was never coming back, she didn’t care. Owners kids hang out at clinic like a summer camp, very unprofessional. Owners pets roam freely around the clinic which causes a problem when customers bring in their pets, not to mention the owner’s cat that sit in the water fountain which customers drink water from!

Place is extremely overpriced. The women that work the desk are space cadets. They are not attentive. Have been coming here for some time, but enough is enough. One time, I brought my dog here to be groomed, and he came back RIDDEN with THIRST. I had to fill his bowl twice. He was left there for HOURS. Unattended. On more than one occasion, they clipped my dogs nails too short and bled. No more. If someone can please recommend me a good vet in the West Kendall area, I would be really grateful!

So far, so good. So happy we found you. Mocha loves that she rarely has to wait to be seen. She understands about dog emergencies, though. The doctors and staff are courteous and professional. The waiting area, while small is clean and fresh smelling. The exam rooms are also a bit small but Mocha doesn’t mind since she barely weighs 6 lbs. We are always reminded about our appointments which is helpful.

This place is a rip off!!! That don’t care for your pet they care for your wallet. I went for a second opinion after I went over this practice and the diagnosis was Incorrect. The charges are ridiculous. They even charged for look specimens under the microscope!!!

Love the service, love the compassionate and caring staff. Clean office and examine rooms. Close and convenient.

When we moved down South I needed to find a new vet and guess who came to the rescue? Unilocal!After searching a couple of close places, I came to Animal Medical Center to get baby Zoe her rabies shots.
The staff was super friendly. I think the kids were out for the summer and were all playing in the parking lot. Running in and out of the office, huffing and puffing. While it wasn’t the most professional atmosphere, it was nice to see the kids could hang with mom for a few hours while she worked.
they have a nice fish tank as soon as you enter and you will have to fill out some paperwork. We weighed Zoe, and waited a bit to be called to the back. The doctor checked her, gave her a clean bill of health — but not before giving her a quick shot for rabies.
I brought her back a few weeks later to board her as we were going to be going out of town. She spent a few days there. They said she would go out and play and while it broke my heart to be away from her (and I am sure she was terrified) it was super clean, the staff super nice and the crates extra spacious.

The worst experience ever at a vet. I did not understand the «hidden review» section on Unilocal and wondered how this horrible place could have even 2 good reviews. They have 5 hidden terrible ones that are well deserved. Disorganized, inept and uncaring on a consistent basis. When I had all 3 of my dogs in repeatedly over a 2 year period because they were closest to my house, I discovered that one dog never got a rabies shot though the other 2 did. They tried to tell me I declined to have that one dog get a rabies shot, but, that I wanted him to have every other shot available that I did not ask for and that I wanted the other 2 dogs to get rabies shots. Crazy how bad the service at this vet is. A «comprehensive exam» is pricey and they barely touch the dogs, they never look at your dogs ears, never take out a stethascope or do anything other than look at the dogs teeth and recommend their dental cleaning service then give the dog shots. All about the $$ here… STAT AWAY!!! I wish I had understood Unilocal «hidden review» policy. Terrible policy by the way.

This is my veterinary clinic. We take our cats and dog there since 2011. I love my veterinarian Dr. Onate she has alot of experience and skills. She is a vet with a heart and I will continue to use this clinic as long as she is there.

This place is great for emergencies. I have a pug who from one moment to the next started acting abnormal. He was curled up in a corner, sleeping all day, and basically not moving at all, and for him that was extremely off. I googled this place (because my regular vet was closed.) called them, and they told me I could come right over. I was registered and in a room in no time. It turned out to be an ear infection, and all I paid for was the meds for my Benster, They offer free physical exams, immunizations, grooming and dental care, spay and neuter services. They also accept a wide variety of pet insurance =] The service there was fantastic. The vet herself was extremely polite, caring, and helpful. Total fan!
