History

Established in 2011.

Allegria Music Art Movement was created in 2011 with the purpose of include the Arts in the academic life of children. First we traveled to different schools in Miami offering Zumba Kids and Piano lessons. Then in 2014 we open our own space where children can come and discover their own artistic talents. During the first year we noticed the necessity of an after school program. Working parents are struggling with their children’s homework and we decided to help by opening our Homework Club. Now we assist students from different schools in Miami and Coral Gables. Allegria is a happy space for kids, where they can explore Art, Music, Dance and do their homework too! Our slogan is «Smarter Kids Trough the Arts» because we have learned that Music Art and Movement are key elements in the academic success of our children.

Meet the Business Owner

Renee H.

Business Owner

Renee H. is a teacher, Piano and Zumba instructor. Her experience working with children helped Renee to create «Allegria» Renee worked as a teacher and Piano Instructor in El Salvador. In 2004 she came to Miami to begin a new journey. She obtained all state requirements to work as a teacher and after 4 years working at a pre-​school she decided to start teaching Piano again. She also became a Certified Zumba and Zumba Kids instructor. In 2011 Renee founded Allegria. At the beginning Renee took the program to different schools in Miami. Then in 2014 she opened a physical space for Allegria.
