Such a bad company. First nasty attitude and won’t help you print your insurance card. And you have to pay $ 10 a day if you have your own insurance. Looks cheap online came out to be more. Do not rent here!!! Such a bad service. Returned the car and the girl look at me like I stole something from her. WTF. No customer service what so ever. I give this one star for that driver that took us from the airport rental spot to the actual place. PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

Bad service and rip off. I got a confirmation e-​mail with their policies and when we got there, they showed us a different policy that includes $ 10 per day when using your own insurance. That line was NOT included in the e-​mails that I got and they did not want to honor what I had in writing, even though I had proof. They do not honor their own confirmations and blame someone else.
I constantly travel to Miami and have rented cars from many companies and this is the first time I was charged for using my own insurance. I regret not reading Unilocal reviews before renting from this company. Never again

Where greediness is higher than customer service satisfaction! One star is way too generous. My booking went from $ 60 for 2 days to over $ 140. Most expensive economy car rental I’ve ever had. At the door they add their so called car insurance $ 27 a day because i didn’t bring a paper copy of my own insurance inspite of showing them a copy on the Geico App. Who carries a paper copy of anything in this digital world? Secondly, all other reputable car rental companies (hertz Avis etc) offer their car insurance for $ 9/​day. Person working behind the desk was completely not accepting any kind of insurance information unless I got a paper copy and completely didn’t give a buck on what I might think of them at the end of the transaction. Worst thing happened when I mentioned to drop off rental @5:00am in morning for which they are charging me extra $ 25 as this is after hours according to them. All rentals @ major airports are open ²⁴⁄₇ and no one has specific time for drop off. To add, $ 10 to drop us to our terminal even though they are located right next to the airport and should be a free drop off. The cherry on top, $ 8 a gallon if they fill your tank when gas right outside next door reads $ 2.05. Money hungry company, rent only if you don’t care about how much you are spending.

Please be aware when booking your reservation of the following hidden fee. If you accept their insurance there is a $ 250 deposit and $ 23 a day fee. This is normal in the industry. However, if you decline the insurance, there is a $ 500 deposit and $ 10 a day fee. This is a creative way to appear on travel sites as the cheapest option, then sometimes double the cost. My total went from $ 83 totals to $ 150 total. The $ 10 will be charged regardless, so it should be in the quoted price.
You also rent a car out of a shipping container.

If you’re looking for a quick reliable car rental service, look else where this place gives no fucks especially when it comes to reservations. How this place stays in business is a wonder to me

Horrible! My $ 34 reservation turned into $ 134 due to all the extra BS fees that they will charge you. I even filled up the gas tank and they were still adamant that it was only ⁷⁄₈ full and charged me a fee for that. Plus it is not located at the airport and in one of the sketchiest place in town. I’m lucky I left with both my kidneys.

Do NOT rent from this place. We were charged over $ 100 in additional fees. They said it was in the small print but we didn’t see it. They charged us an additional $ 10/​day for using our own insurance instead of purchasing theirs.
The location is not at the airport and you have to take an additional shuttle there.
They also didn’t have the car type that we had reserved.
There are plenty of spots at the Miami airport hat offer a much better rate and service.

Bait and switch, if u don’t want to use their insurance its $ 10 per day, they also charge $ 600 deposit. Off premise from MIA airport which doesn’t say when booking neither does it say. Lady at counter says the charges are stated when booking but doesn’t show it on the fine print of the receipt. What a joke of a place, go somewhere else.

Rent somewhere else this place loves to nickle and dime you!!! I’ve rented from many different co and internationally and have never heard of having to pay to use your own personal full coverage insurance ($ 10 a day)!!! They have cheap car rates but hide this ridiculous fee in their terms and then bombard you with it when you’re there so you end up paying more than other rental companies. We asked the service rep to show us where it said this on their website and it took her 15 minutes to even find it– it’s a TOTAL SCAM. Then they charge you $ 10 to get dropped off at the terminal and other fees if you drop off after a certain time– Trust me DO NOT rent from here!!!

Worst experience with renting a car, road side assistance sucks, if you run into any problem they won’t help you on time, the communication between different centers are like of medieval age, you will have to explain the problem to every single person for an hour and that too when you are facing an emergency situations. They are like most unsatisfying rental car service, not recommended.

Do not rent from here! Low prices is a gimmick to get you in the door, the following are fees/​charges that was not included in my quote.
1. Off site. They do not start shuttle service before 0700. If you get there before… cab/​bus or wait.
2. When returning, if before 0700 $ 25 charge.
3. If you don’t use their insurance $ 23/​day you have to show proof of insurance and they will charge you $ 10/​day.
4. $ 10 charge to drop you to gate after return.

I read these reviews and thought «it couldn’t be that bad.» It IS that bad. These guys have a few for EVERYTHING.
Not to mention, putting a 100 $ hold on my card as a «security deposit» that I can’t get back. What’s the point of a security deposit if you don’t get it back? That’s straight up theft.
Other fees: 10 $ charge per day for using your own liability insurance and a 35 $ call out charge if you land after 10pm on a Saturday in May when the temperature is above 78 degrees. There’s many more, but based on looking at their website, advertised price is not what you’ll pay.
As advertised, the price of my two day rental was 59 $, which is steep for a no-​name rental car company. At the end of the day, I ended up paying $ 236, and that was after my airline crew discount.

All the comments are true. Read fine print policy they email you ahead of time. Deal not looking so good now is it?

They charge you 10 $ per day for using your insurance. They have good cars and a good car policy.
My car charge was 36 $ for thw week but my taxes and fees were 120 which i felt was ridiculous. I was told upfront but i had to book it as it was last minute reservation. Communication is an issue if you don’t know Spanish but manageable.
They dont match kayak or other car rental prices.

Here’s the thing! Read read read! Ask questions at the front desk!
Prepay your reservations and buy the insurance if you don’t have an major insurance policy. It looks like most of the compliments because people don’t read! You still have to pay 10 bucks a day if you have insurance with a major company (never heard of that before, it’s stupid but whatever)
By prepaying my transaction was smooth sailing! Front desk agent William was very helpful !
A little tollway tip. Go to publix or Walgreens to get it cheaper!

Absolutely terrible! I had a reservation and there is one person being helped at the counter and another employee drinking a soda outside. No one has acknowledged in here and I’ve been here for 30 min.

Don’t rent here. I booked on line and when I got to their office to pickup a car they wanted $ 10 a day if I used my own insurance and a $ 600 deposit. The other option was $ 23 a day for their insurance and a $ 100 deposit. Half of the people who took the shuttle there returned to the airport with me to rent somewhere else.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. Zero stars. I am at the counter while I write this review. Car rental nightmare.
First they lied and said they gave away the car that I prepaid for and instead they offered the only cars on their lot which would cost an extra $ 200 dollars. After we refused and told them that we want the car that we prepaid for they finally «found» our car.
The worst part? They charge ten dollars per day to use your own insurance. It is part of their «recovery damage fee». Which makes no sense because we already have full insurance coverage so they’re charging us to use our own insurance instead of paying an additional 23 dollars a day for their own. So it’s an additional cost that you have to pay no matter what. Supposedly it is buried somewhere deep in their policies.
Good news, after asking them to provide proof the lady went into the back room to ask her manager and came back saying that we wouldn’t be charged the ten dollars a day.
Bottom line NEVER rent from them. Holy moly so sketchy.

They charge $ 10/​day if you use your own insurance which is totally non-​sense. I was not aware of this fee until I get there (there was not any note on
page and the confirmation). In the end, it does not get less expensive than the other rental companies. Their location is not at the airport (but close); they provide a shuttle. They charge for the return shuttle (if you wanna go to airport after you drop the car). The car was pretty new. The customer service was helpful, but there was only one guy working; so took around 45 mins to get the car (just the wait time).
I really hate hidden fees; and this one was quite significant, They charged %50 percent more than their advertised price; hence 1 star.
