As Darren S. nicely put it, Miami’s customer service is often nonexistent and quite rude to say the least. Going to Ace Hardware in Brickell is a completely different experience though. The team members are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I feel good vibes and good energy from the people there. In particular, Carlos is fantastic. He really knows his stuff! Every time we have gone in he has helped us choose the best product. We just got back and he helped us pick out energy efficient lightbulbs that are going to save us some $$$ and are even brighter than what we had before! Again, great store, great people and great service! Thank you Ace!

In a city known for its shitty«I don’t give a f@#k customer service» attitude… Ace Hardware Brickell bucks that trend. Super helpful team members, knowledgeable, and friendliness give Ace that feeling you got from your old home town local hardware store run by Mr and Mrs Owens for 50 years.

As usual, this overall Unilocal rating is completely inaccurate and unfair to this business. Im a regular customer and this place is great, the staff is ALWAYS helpful, the place is clean and organized. Lets just hope this review doesnt get filtered by Unilocal«smart» logarithms. Keep up the good work ACE.

I’ve been here maybe 6 – 8 times. Staff is great and super helpful, you almost feel bad telling them you don’t need help, but its a good thing. It seems small from outside but I was surprised at how much stuff you find there. Of course you won’t find things that you can get at home depot, but lets say, for most of your needs, everything is there. Small to medium size projects. I’ve gone for home accessories, BBQ accessories(gas and tools), tools, cleaning supplies and hardware. If you want to save the trip to 8st and traffic, this is such a clean and friendly place. Recommended.

Bought $ 50 garden hose from this store in March 2014 with a 1-year warranty. Hose defective in September 2014 so returned to store as instructed on box. Was told immediately, would have to deal with manufacturer directly. Insisted on speaking to manager who told me the same thing. Then pointed out what was written on the box and then he gave me the refund and said this had happened several times and he was not going to sell this hose anymore. To me, this meant that he had gone through this refund process several times with this hose and had refunded before… so why was told to deal with manufacturer? Just trying me? Opinion of their attitude in general is rude and not respectful of customers. Will not be back and don’t think they’ll last as on this and previous visits to this store. you see a vacant parking lot and no customers.

I needed some dirt for some plants I had and really didn’t want to sit in the traffic on 8th street to get to the Home Depot. I crossed my fingers and headed over to the new Ace in Brickell hoping they would have what I needed. Let me tell you, this was the BEST costumer service experience I’ve EVER had in this area. For some reason, businesses in Miami think they’re doing you a favor when you visit their establishment. From the second I walked in, I felt like the employees truly wanted to help me. I was greeted by the lady at the register and asked by the gentleman up on a ladder if I needed help. I told him he could just point me in the right direction, but he insisted he would help. He assisted me in picking out the right dirt and even carried it to the front for me. While I was waiting for the lady in front of me to finish her transaction, I looked at some paint samples. Another employee asked me if I was planning to do some painting. I told her I was thinking about it and she mentioned they would be having a paint sale Memorial Day Weekend. Why thank you, I’ll be back in May ;) After completing my purchase, another employee walked me out and helped me get the bag of dirt into my car. I give this place a BLAZING5 stars for their friendly attitudes and their helping nature. If only all businesses would take a page from their book.

Opened 10 months ago in the Brickell area. I visited the location because it’s closer than other hardware/home supply stores and I was short one spray paint can for a home project. Unfortunately, like most other businesses in the area(i.e. Publix, Walgreens, etc.), the majority of prices are inflated and not competitive. For example, one matte white spray paint can with primer and paint that I had previously bought at a local Home Depot for $ 2.69 cost $ 5.86 at this location. I needed about 12 cans, so the price difference does add up. The staff at this store was friendly. Unfortunately, after explaining what I was looking for and my project, they recommended an Ace spray paint can that was cheaper than the $ 5.86 brand. I bought two cans and was happy. I saved some money :-) It turns out, this Ace brand was not compatible at all to what I had started using in my project. So, it ruined the section of my work that I had almost completed. :-( I went back to the store and explained this to the gentleman at the cash register and I was refunded for only one can because I had already opened the other. While I’m explaining my situation, another cashier explains to me what happened and the difference in spray paints. All I could think was, «Where were you an hour ago?» Anyway, I will be going to Home Depot to buy one more spray paint can to correct the damage caused by the Ace brand. Live and learn. Live and learn.
