My Samsung ice maker stopped working a week ago. It is still under warranty therefore, Lowe’s recommended AG Appliance. Lowe’s sent AG appliance the referral and AG called me the same day to schedule an appointment. It was first scheduled for the next business day but when AG realized the part would need to be ordered and it would take two additional days, we rescheduled the visit. The company sends a confirmation email with the scheduled appointment block. On the day of the service, the technician called stating they were on their way. Scott and Erick were very polite, professional and worked as a team. The motor to the ice maker was installed and were done quickly. They even cleaned some water drops from the floor. I am very pleased of their professionalism and courteousness of this company. I’m glad Lowe’s recommended this company.

Quick summary: — LG fridge shows ERFF message on display. — Upper part of fridge is not cooling, freezer is OK — Check the internet, defect is a fan in the freezer compartment. Fan motor can be bought for $ 40 online. — But attempting self repair(which can lead to disaster), went on to call LG Service, they recommend Gonzalez. — Called Gonzalez, very nice gentleman listened to my report, agreed that the fan is bad, offered to order for overnight delivery, but would charge $ 75 when the repair person showed up to confirm that the fan was actually the problem. That $ 75 could be applied to total repair cost, if I approved the service. — Two days later get a call, repairman on his way to my home. — We briefly discuss problem, and starts to work, disassembling the Fan plate, replacing motor, re-assembling everything. — Fridge back to work in less than an hour. — Cost was $ 202, including the fan motor. — Service was efficient, price was very fair. — Life goes back to normal, one day before Thanksgiving! Close call! — Very happy.

Repair man diagnosed my LG refrigerator told me compressor was bad qouted $ 425 for labor said the compressor was under warranty but not labor .I called LGFACTORYDIRECTREPAIR ANDTHEYQUOTEDME $ 220NOMATERIFITISCOMPRESSORORANYSEALEDSYSTEM. Gonzales appliance wanted $ 200 more than the factory .Very dissatisfied should have call LG from the begining.

Seems to be more interested in the $ 75 fee to «inspect» your appliance than fixing it. Do not waste your time. Terrible service and wants to replace practically every part and piece in the appliance to charge you more or could be because they do not know what’s really wrong with the appliance and they figure lets just replace it all and hope that fixes it.
