The company has a fleet of vehicles on the road to provide same-​day service and 24 hour emergency service.

Our service technicians are members of the Associated Locksmiths of America, are certified in Dade County and abide by the Code of Ethics of the Associated Locksmiths of America.

History

Established in 1937.

Established in 1937 Miami Beach has been York lock & Key’s home since its inception. Located in a 2500 square ft building on Alton Road we are able to give fast efficient service in the Dade, Broward County area. Excellence in service has allowed us to exclusively protect hotels, condominiums, retail stores and residences assuring you we will be around for many years to come.

Excellence in service can only be achieved with skilled training. Our technicians are factory trained and certified. This keeps us up to date on the latest developments and security solutions giving us the means to recommend the most effective door security solution for you facility’s needs.

Meet the Business Owner

Juan P.

Business Owner

Juan is an entrepreneur and veteran locksmith. Arriving to Miami in 1962 from Cuba during Operation Pedro Pan, he acclimated to the American way of life. After graduating LaSalle High School in 1965 he was employed by York lock & Key. He worked at York Lock & Key for a year before being drafted by the US Army in 1966. Serving as an MP during the Vietnam War he served loyally until being honorably discharged from the military in 1968. York Lock & Key quickly reemployed him where he continued working until purchasing the locksmith company in 1982. Since then he has grown a company that employed four technicians (including himself) servicing the Miami Beach area to sixteen technicians that services all of the Miami-​Dade and Broward Counties.

A passionate family man, when not at the office, Juan spends his time between Haydee his wife of 46 years, children, seven grandchildren and his faith.
