The first time I went here I had pretty crappy service. I used to order from here all the time to work because regardless of the person doing delivery getting lost ever time it still got there fairly quick. I order from here because the food is actually good but it’s a shame because the management has shitty costumer service. Just reading about the health inspection that they had really makes me not want to order from there. It’s sad wok town get it together and win us back! As someone in food industry I fully understand how at times things can go wrong but these things can be fixed.

Got sick from this food on my first order. Ordered chicken lomein and it was tasty but chicken had weird and slimy texture. Will not order from here again.

Ordered delivery with the app. My friend got extremely sick! We did some research and this place was just shut down for cockroaches and horrible conditions! Please never eat from here!

At first I loved ordering from here, i’d order the kung pao chicken once a week. But then over new years, they messed my order up and included nuts when i specifically asked for no nuts. I called back and told the lady the issue, she said they were really busy and nothing she could do for me before putting me on hold for 5 minutes. I hung up and called back, the same lady once she heard it was me immediately put me on hold before i could even say anything. The games continued, with me calling from different numbers trying to get my order fixed.
I decided to walk back to the restaurant and confront her for the games. I demanded a refund or voucher for another meal, she gave me a voucher. When i claimed my meal the next day, the lady knew it was me ordering and my meal was spicier then it had ever been. Im pretty sure they loaded it with hot red peppers. The food made me sick and gave me and my friend i shared the food with diarheaa for 2 days.
I havent been back since the beginning of January and im glad to see that as of the 26^th of January the Miami Health Department has shut down their restaurant after finding «15 live roaches in the production area and 50 plus dead roaches throughout the restaurant»

I used to eat here pretty regularly. It was always a decent takeout place but has gone down hill a lot. Lately their food has been disgusting and I couldn’t even finish it. Don’t think I’ll give this place another chance, such a shame. Looks like others feel the same. I can’t imagine how they’re gonna last if they don’t step things up.

Overall great experience! Groupon brought us here and I had the chicken pad Thai and my gf had the shrimp in spicy garlic with noodles. Both were delicious and the only reason we have only given it 4 stars was because the portions were on the small size (probably because we had a groupon)

I can not express how horrible this service is. 1. They brought my food to the wrong address. 2. They brought my food with the WRONG ingredients and did not follow my specific instructions. I really liked this place and always ordered from here, I will never order again. Oh and I called 5 times and no one answered their phone… FIVE TIMES.

Disgusting. Do not waste your money. They lied to me about the details of the Groupon and then I found a roach on the floor in the restaurant. I noticed that no one was in the restaurant during prime lunch time. I wish I had read some of these other terrible reviews before wasting my money.

Absolutely disgusting!!! Ordered to go and when I get to my place I found a 3 inches roach inside of my soup!!! Never again and I hope they shut the place down!

This is by far the most inconsistent restaurant in Miami. There is a major problem with my order every single time and they never correct their mistakes. Sometimes they don’t even bother to show up. Nor do they have anyone who answers the phone who can properly communicate.
Further, the food is way overpriced and the ingredients aren’t consistent. The pad thai comes with different noodles each time.
Make sure you check the order with this restaurant 5 times before you hang up with them and when they deliver your food.
This is a classic case of piss poor management who frankly don’t care about their customers. Enough is enough.

Really bad attitude from the red hair girl that was supposed to take care of us. She was unhappy that, on a slow night, I decided to spend my money there. Apparently they don’t realize that it is not the only oriental cuisine joint in the area. Never again!!! The beef is the most chewy piece of beef I ever tried in my life. On a positive note, my wife liked the soy sauce. Bad food and bad attitude from the stAff, really bad combination for a restaurant. I usually don’t give bad reviews but I had to save you guys from a really bad experience.

Overpriced mediocre food that takes an eternity to prepare. They’ve messed up my order on more than one occasion. If you order to-​go, check your order before leaving the restaurant, or risk being sorely disappointed once you return home.
Today I ordered teriyaki chicken, and received honey garlic chicken instead. The «chicken» was paper thin and 90% deep fried breading. The edemame did not come with salt, despite having ordered it with salt.
Never going back. I’ve given this location one too many chances. The downtown location is amazing in comparison. Its shocking the south beach location is still in business.

I just ordered for take out. The worst shrimp lo main full of garlic was loaded with big pieces of garlic.
The rolls are even worst !!!
Please do yourself a favor an go somewhere else.

Worst customer service I have encountered in Miami… and that’s A LOT to say. The girl who was picking up the phones on Sunday night is the rudest person I’ve ever encountered (unprofessional, uncourteous, downright nasty). She should have been fired on the spot for the way she spoke to me on the phone… that is, before she hung up on me (twice). I was asking about options on how to make things right with my order cause it came incomplete (after 1.5 hours).
Manager: you’re staff is killing your business (food isn’t bad by the way, but I will never order from you again).

You should try this place out.
I had the Mongolian with chicken. Very tasty and fresh ingredients. I also enjoyed the Kung Pao Chicken, but sometimes its too spicy and other times it’s too mild, still delicious. I do not recommend the spring rolls. They taste frozen and I do not think they are homemade. They are tiny with light filling, barely any veggies and mostly the rice noodles. Not good. Service is a hit or mis. Do not look at the prices on the Unilocal menu, they are underpriced. Overall I will continue to come here because it’s one of my favorite Asian fix on the beach.

DO NOT EAT HERE, PEOPLE! Unless you want to eat metal. Straight up chunks of METAL in your food. The food is not worth it regardless, but especially if you have to sift through food to find ‘treasures’.
And don’t expect the restaurant to care. When I called back to kindly let them know that they are serving harmful food that could have choked me and cut my mouth open– I ran into the most undesirable service EVER. «Laura» decided to hang up on me three times when I simply asked for a manager.
The rude girl on the phone told me to call the delivery company that I ordered through (not that it had ANYTHING to do with the metal but because they are the ones that charged me) and then hung up on me.

I’m sure your life sucks working off of tips in a restaurant with ZERO people ever inside. But now I know why, and I don’t feel bad one bit. You are entitled and have horrible communication skills. You probably can’t do much better, but someone should care that you disrespect their management and company. Do your company a favor and get a job where you have zero interaction with people. You’re a sad, pathetic, defensive and unprofessional. Good luck getting through life with your attitude.

You should take a peak into your management team. I’ve NEVER, in my life, called a restaurant and asked to speak to a manager just to get hung up on. I’m sure you’re not teaching that during training. I’ve never had such a difficult time trying to let a restaurant know that there was a problem. I’ve never been so disrespected on the beach. Our office will no longer be sending any of our employers or clients to your establishment. You can ‘thank’ Laura (if there aren’t any Laura’s and she gave a false name… the name on my receipt is Monica and it was during lunch today 3÷24÷2015.

Lets just say there was a point in my life that I was here several times a week. I could not get enough of the orange peel chicken and I liked it so much that I refused to try anything else. The regular and chili ginger edamame always part of my order.
The lunch specials here (monday-​friday until 5) are what I couldn’t stay away from. Any entrée + spring roll, asian coleslaw or cup of soup.

The food is delicious, and they have an interesting menu. Aside from the interesting salads, all the dishes are very calorie heavy — pasta, rice and breaded dishes. I wish they had some pure steamed or wok stir fried dishes. The service is «cool» and «caring» in a way. But not necessarily «rude» as some other venues in the beach. The inside is very small with only a few tables but pleasant.
Caution — for the delivery. It takes way too long, and the food arrives, soggy, cold and unpleasant.
Note — it is difficult to get to the location right now because of the road work being done in front of the building on Alton. But you can find parking on one of the side streets. Try the miso soup it’s outstanding.

My friend and I were in a rush to catch a movie, so we didn’t want to deal with the Miami style of service (read: slow, laidback) found at most restaurants, but we didn’t want to settle with rubbery McDonald’s burgers either. I wanted to try Eat Greek Souvlaki but it looked like it was under construction, so I decided we should go for Chinese, since we barely ever do. Wok Town is a chain and I had actually tried their downtown Miami location once, so I knew what to expect.
Upon checking in, I was offered a free bowl of soup. Okay, free food… you got my attention. I got the hot and sour soup (the other option being miso), and decided to get the Mongolian chicken. It was ready quickly, and with pretty colors. No overcooked, browned, soggy veggies here. The food reminds me of Pei Wei, actually. It’s better than Panda Express and more expensive, but not as fancy as P.F. Chang’s. The food was tasty, with a good sized portion, the hot and sour soup was less salty than P.F. Chang’s thank goodness, which should be called «a bowl of high blood pressure» soup. Seriously. Look it up, but I digress. At about $ 12, WT wasn’t as cheap as most standard greasy Chinese joints that charge $ 8-​$ 10 and throw in an eggroll and fried rice, but like I said, it wasn’t expensive either; mid-​range.
Their lunch deals seem more of a bargain as they throw in the eggroll and a soup or Asian coleslaw with the same entrée for $ 9.99, more food and at a cheaper price. Parking is probably a nightmare thanks to the ongoing Alton Road destruction, but they do provide delivery and if you live within walking distance to Lincoln Road mall (or if you parked near Lincoln Road, as we did), you can easily walk.
