Waxing By Roxy

Have been to several different wax places, but Roxy is by far the best. Her space upstairs is very clean and comfortable, and no double dipping! She makes you feel comfortable with easy conversation, and takes her time. The prices are very reasonable especially for Miami Beach, I would never think of going anywhere else!

Had a bad attitude because she wanted to leave early and I requested an appointment for 6:30.
she explained that she didn’t have anyone from the time I called in and made the appointment)5pm) till 6:30. It’s not my fault that she sits around without clients!
Maybe if she had a different approach and work ethic she’d have more clients.
Anyway parking is not really convenient and you need to walk from the garage around to the townhouse and its tricky to find (the first time anyway)
I arrived at 6:50 yes, late due to the Venetian causeway being closed for the next several months 395 is a absolute MESS.
She wrote me a text message saying that she left for the day.
My salon would never do this to a client.
We would wait and make sure you are taken care of and leave happy, whatever it takes.

I couldn’t have asked for a better waxing experience. I recently moved to Miami, and was nervous about find a new waxing salon. Luckily, Roxy’s handiwork exceeded my expectations. It was far less painful and about half the price of my previous salon. Roxy was very sweet and mellow.
There is metered street parking nearby.
The salon is located on the water front, ground level of the Murano Grand building.

What can I say? The best of the best of the BEST! On top of being the most gentle-​handed, precise, thorough, accommodating and professional waxer I have ever been to, Roxy is also one of the sweetest, funniest, and all around most considerate people I have ever met. She makes what is usually an uncomfortable, awkward and painful situation a total breeze — we get so caught up in chats and laughs that I feel more like I’m at brunch than a bikini wax session. Whether it’s your first time going for a wax, or you just haven’t found the best yet, let me assure you — Roxy is it! Book and never look back, this girl is the best! You can thank her and me later!

The best waxer in the Miami area. Hands down, without a doubt in my mind. She makes you comfortable while waxing even the most personal of areas. She is extremely professional, clean and thorough. A few years ago I attempted a Brazilian wax at a local waxing salon and left less than half way through. It hurt so badly I thought i was dying! I was reluctant to try again, but Roxy’s reviews were so good that I decided to give it another shot. Well, I’m really glad I did! I popped a few Advil beforehand and applied some numbing cream I got from Wallgreens and the rest was «smooth» sailing!
The Salon was clean and comfortable and Roxy made me feel very relaxed. I’m extremely happy with the results and have already recommended her services to all my friends. I’ll definitely be seeing her again in 4 weeks!
I clearly had a bad experience the first time around at the other salon because the difference was night and day. If you have any reservations about waxing due to a prior experience, give Roxy a chance to change your mind!!!

I never thought having a Brazilian wax could be so enjoyable. And by enjoyable I mean painless! Relocating from another city I was nervous to have to find someone new. After reading so many great reviews about Roxy i called and was able to get a same day appointment. Roxy is super nice and makes you feel comfortable. I’ve been waxing with Roxy for a few months now. She’s not only the sweetest lady, but super professional. She is always careful, considerate, and on time. Let me start by saying I have extremely sensitive skin. I had an awful experience with a Brazilian a few years ago that left me with awful bumps and ingrown’s that took forever to go away. I just moved to south beach and was extremely cautious about getting another wax. I read the Unilocal reviews and figured I would try again because I absolutely needed to get waxed. Roxy was amazing!!! She did a full Brazilian for $ 50!!! It didn’t hurt, I am completely smooth! Best wax I’ve ever gotten. I also want to add she made me feel so comfortable and it wasn’t awkward at all. If you are thinking about getting a Brazilian or you are a seasoned pro… Run do not walk to this place!!! Plus free parking! Can’t beat it!

About a year ago I came across Roxy on my vacation to Miami. Roxy is the BEST waxer I have ever had! Roxy uses only the best wax and creates a comfortable environment.
While I do not have the luxury to get waxed by Roxy often, as I live in New York, I will only get waxed by her when I know I will be in the area.
Prices are great and the service is top notch. I usually get a full bikini, butt strip and full leg when I visit her. I am very self conscious about my lady parts and still get anxiety before getting waxed. Within minutes Roxy makes me feel comfortable and I am at ease. The wax that she uses smells great and is great on my skin, which is extremely sensitive. Roxy is very knowledgable and can answer all of your questions. Since she has moved to her new location the service is even better! Roxy is the only waxer at her location, therefore, the space is large and personally customized by her. You can tell she truly loves what she does and has all the tools to give you exactly what you need/​want. Do yourself a favor and visit Roxy!

I’ve tried several wax technicians… and REFUSE to use anyone else since I found her. She understands that everyones hair is different, and that you have to use specific techniques! (Not sure if other techs understand that!?) She’s super sweet, professional and is an expert at hair removal. I am so thankful that I found her and definitely, 110%, recommend Roxy as your waxing specialist.

Roxy is the absolute best! I never write reviews on Unilocal– but since she has just moved to a new location I just had to! Roxy is the best waxing specialist out there. She does a meticulous job making sure to remove every hair (gently and painlessly). Her room is spotless; she is punctual and super pleasant. Roxy used to work at South Beach Body Waxing on Washington Ave. on the beach I went to her for a couple of years. I was sadden to find out she was gone… but I got word that she was working at this really nice & upscale salon right on the Miami Beach Marina. It was a little hard to find because there was practically no signage outside but once I went in I was surprised to see how beautiful the place is… and off course there she was! The best waxing girl on SOBE. I was able to go right in get waxed and I set up an appointment for my mani/​pedi the next day. Overall, very convenient, great parking unlike the other salon on Washington, CLEAN!, professional… definitely two thrums up
