Poor service as bouncers… Tall black male completely ignored me and told me get away from me faggot but yet works for a gay club…
Drinks were good and bartenders were good but as far as bouncers maybe they need customer service training

Me and my friend were here on gay pride and it was so much fun. They had many dance floors with different kinds of music, many different bars and you could smoke inside witch was great: p It was a surreal party night with gogo dancers and fun gay guys. They should really get a ladys room though. The line too the «little boys room» were long all night.

I had the most horrible experience at the bar entrance. The bouncer was extremely rude, stopped me and told me I was on the black list. I guess he confused me with someone that had a trouble before and he wouldn’t let me in thinking I was him. He wouldn’t listen and Asked me to go!
All I wanted was to just relax after a long day at work. No manager would come out to confirm that person was me. They pretty much kicked me out with no evidence and no one cared to verify, such assholes. The bouncer was making fun of me, talking about how lonely I was for coming to the club etc and made me feel very uncomfortable for no reason … I would never go there again and wouldn’t recommend it for any one. What happened tonight was wrong

This place is kind of a mixed bag.
It depends where you go.
If you go into the room with the Gogo bits they have a tendency to ge on the aggressive side, abd in some cases can’t seem to take no for an answer. But the bartender in that room ws the best.
Upstairs the music is good but a bit crowded at times. The bartender also tried to charge me $ 5 for an 8oz bottle of water. What kind of bar charges for water?
I guess it’s more fun if your there witj people you know abd avoid certain sections.

There are a lot of dance floors. but top ones open at 11pm… worst part is there is a required $ 30 minimum for debit and credit cards. if you don’t bring cash your screwed. and their response at the bar was, «It’s South Beach. Sorry. «ugh, if only they would of told me beforehand. :-(

TWIST is maze! There are two floors with several rooms and dance floors playing different types of music. This was my second gay club experience and I absolutely loved it. My entire group had a ton of fun. The vibes here are just great; people here are playful and friendly. Plus, the bartender was quick and attentive.
ONLY downside is that the bathrooms are suuuper gross. Pee before you get here.

Gay bar with several rooms, each with their own tunes and bar. I came here with a group, and while I’m not a party goer, I could see it being fun. The music was good and the vibe was nice.
Definite turn off was all the smoking (cigarette smell is the bane of my existence), but I can’t really complain since at the end of the day it is a bar. The party doesn’t really start till like 1AM and on, so keep that in mind.
Anyway, everyone was chill and our bartender was sweet. I didn’t have to go the restroom, but they all looked a little suspicious, and you have to tip the employee inside. Besides that, if clubs are your thing definitely stop by!

I just moved to Florida and my date wanted to take me to TWIST it was very big with awesome drinks and a variety of music I guess being from Texas I wasn’t keen to the music but at the end if the night I had a blast I was dancing and having fun to music I never danced to lol I will definitely return!

This place gets poppin at midnight, has several room (each with a bar) and varied music (typical of gay populist gay bars).

A stop in Miami would not have been complete without hitting up some gay bars. TWIST was all sorts of fun for my friends and I on our weekend escapade. The walk over from Lincoln Mall was an arduous journey in the rain, but well worth it.
No cover? No dress code? Thank you Buddha cause my ass was wearing shorts, rainbows, and a wet shirt from the monsoon rain. We weren’t cute, but we were still free to enter.
This club is super spacious even though it comes off hella small. There are different rooms blasting music from hip-​hop to jungle, EDM and everything in between. The so-​called pop room was definitely Bieber night, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. Drinks here were standard at $ 10-​$ 11 a pop, and credit cards need to have a minimum of $ 30 before they can swipe.
TWIST hits the mark on what you’d find in places like WeHo or Boystown. You’ve got your shirtless hotties selling $ 5 shots of fireball, drag queens roaming around, and go-​go dancers. But I must say these dancers were so boring. We needed to get a little more skin from their undies and some more hips jiving. Oh, and maybe a pole.
But aside from that, loved the place. I got to reconnect with my old childhood friend living in Miami, and basked in the ambience of hot, sweaty guys. Doesn’t sound appealing? Then perhaps the straight bar across the seat is better suited for you lol.

Like most places on South Beach, everything feels like a scam, so don’t be afraid to ask foe the price of your drink before had.

The bathroom is disgusting but it comes with an attendant who you must tip is you want to wash your hands, when I was in there no one person washed their hands. I dint know this so I washed my hands and was charged $ 1.00 so after touching money I wasted to wash my hands again, he asked me for another dollar, I suspect this would have gone all night long. lolz
The entire place smells like an ashtray.
The dancers claim to be straight and married so no pictures. lolz
oh boy this place was exhausting, trying to keep up with all the bs.

Where do two straight girls go to dance and not be harassed by hands-​y dudes? A gay club, of course! TWIST was awesome. Lots of bars, nice bartenders, cool people who just wanna dance, nobody (okay, very few) people trying to bother you… really fun night out!
But at 12:47 AM on a Saturday night, the dance floor was empty. At 1 AM, FULL. So weird! (There are like 3 or 4 dance floors, but this one was the totally «normal» one — popular music with that dance club beat, no go-​go dancers, not salsa.) But my friend and I had a blast here, dancing the night away; people watching to the extreme.
I read on another review that they had a hip hop room, but that may just be on certain nights because we def didn’t see that. I was actually surprised that there wasn’t an edm room! But the music was still pretty good. (No live DJ though.)
Also, while they have a $ 30 minimum on credit cards for drinks, we didn’t see those signs for most of the night and the bartenders didn’t give us any trouble with the $ 20 and $ 24 tabs we kept closing out. Maybe they were was too busy to be annoyed at us. :P
Highlights of the night: Three different people asked to take a picture with me. ?!? I think it had to do with the fact that I’m Asian, tallish, and sorta blond right now. Other than my friend and myself, we saw ONE Asian person/​dude there all night. Also, in line at the UNISEX bathroom, a heavily-​accented girl asked me «hi, where you from?» When I answered «oh, I’m from California,» she was like, «but you look Asian! Where you REALLY from?» All while super smiley and touchy and obviously not trying to be racist but totally racist just the same. Ha. Oh, and towards the end of the night I finally sat down and 3 minutes later a guy comes up to me and goes «can I ask for my seat back?» which I thought was cute so I got up, even though my feet really hurt cuz I’m the one in heels! But, it was HIS club, so…

We were recommended here because we were told it was a top LGBTQ club in Miami. The place did not have a cover charge, which was good. Now, downstairs was an amazing bar setting that played a lot of 90s R&B and hip hop with music videos on the TV screens. The bartender downstairs was very friendly and attentive even though it was very busy. In general, the people at Twist were very friendly and two guys even bought us a round of drinks. Upstairs played techno, house music, and had a dance floor. The setting is amazing, but more diversity of music will truly bring in a better and bigger crowd (just a suggestion).

Now Suzie is ignoring me. I’m so very sorry she has skin cancer, but why is that my problem? She’s created de facto bailment of my debit card. She’s ignoring me and denying me custody of my credit card. I will not tolerate this from Twist or any business. Do not patronize this bar. Ever. They are homophobes. Disguised as allies.

A hidden gem for the gay people of FL and visiting Miami. TWIST is one of those clubs that truly embrace what being gay is about. From the 5 bar’s available inside to the music and dancing that you experience, I give this place 5 stars. TWIST never fails to disappoint!
The go-​go dancers are the absolute BEST! Never treat you like crap, and never are mean to you. They treat you wonderfully and full of life! The best group you can have and be with which overall talks to the type of people they hire

Omg, where do I start? Twist absolutely blowed me away, no exaggeration! It is not my first time to a gay bar. I came from DC area, where there are a good amount of gay bar/​clubs as well. But they are nothing comparable to twist.
First, most bars in DC closes at 2. Clubs in Miami truly commits to night life. The super long hours puts you sleepless and party the night away. Yeah!
Second, the go go dancers and friendly bartenders. Go go dancers are very attractive and f*cking hot, Even the bar tenders are very friendly and good looking. It is a feast even for me, a straight woman! Not to mention the gay men here.
They have different rooms playing different music. Salsa, Edm, hip hop. You can always find one that suits you.
Drinks are not very pricey. Credit cards start at 30. Make sure you bring cash or drink more!
I got a kiss from a dancer. What a great ego booster! I would like to visit twist again whenever I am in Miami!

Though I arrived at 7:30 PM and it was very slow, I enjoyed myself. I took advantage of their Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal in the back bar. Remember, in order to use this promo, you need to redeem the card they give you before 9:00 PM. I had an extra card because my bartender was yapping to long to one person that I couldn’t get my order in before 9PM. I had to go to the manager to approve my free drink. All in all, I didn’t really stay long enough for the Fun… When I realized that drinks were $ 12 each after 9PM… It was time to leave.

This is one of the gr8est clubs I’ve ever been to! They have a male strip bar and the most interesting clown dressed as a she male, they have an upstairs and downstairs areas, each very large with extended space with like 3 full alcohol bars.
I like the fact that this club is extra large just so huge, and that they even have a Latin dancing floor. Very interesting how at times there are even trannies walking around in huge wigs with pearls, they look like huge women.
The dance floor on the second floor is amazing, surrounded with colorful flashing lights in plastic white glow walls.
This is a club where you will definitely have fun, and you don’t have to be gay, the best part is, that they have free admission and close their doors at 4am!
