I wish I could give negative 5 stars!!! This Fridays location sucks ass. This is the night of tortuous customer service we experienced. Last night we had Raquel as our server. She was slow and clearly didn’t care if we needed our drink refilled or napkins or hell a damn straw. I get tired of server getting shitty service but server expecting a damn tip. Earn this money like I do when I go to work.
Tonight the service was worst if that’s possible!!! The torture starts as soon as you walk in the door. There isn’t a hostess to seat you so we were just standing there waiting. After about 15 minutes of being ignored we opted for takeout so we went to the bar and ordered. We have previously eaten here and know the service sucks. However, its even more frustrating. The ONLY I REPEAT ONLY reason we are back is because our hotel is next door and room service has ended. I’d rather pay 18% gratuity plus a delivery fee plus another bullshit fee than to come here. But they are closed and my man was hungry… so we came back for the torture that the customer service. Sadly they don’t care because of the location they will continue to be busy!!! I was going to do their survey from the receipt but it won’t take my email plus I thought Unilocal would be more fitting. Again the location will help generate business it the service needs improvement ASAP!!!

This TGIF is right on Ocean Drive where the beach is right there. It is nice to sit outside and people watch and just enjoy Miami Beach as a whole. However, the service was terrible. I went on an afternoon where it was not that crowded. We just wanted to sit down outside where it was such a nice day, however it took around 10 – 15 min to sit us down even though there was no one there because they said they were going through a shift change. It isn’t that hard to at least sit us down.
We wanted to order some drinks. I got the Strawberry Henny because it looked beautiful in the menu. When I got the drink, there were no strawberries in the drink as it showed in the picture! My friends also ordered a double berry mojito and the they both came out so different. One was in a mixer with berries and the other one had more mint leaves and did not come in a mixer.
I also ordered a BBQ chicken flat bread which I thought was pretty decent. Prices were crazy for TGIF but it is South Beach.
The worse part was our server, she was never there for us and all the other servers that were there kept ignoring us. I know we are outside and it is hard to get to us. But it should not take 20 minutes to get my server’s attention. I most likely will go back just because it is South Beach but I did not enjoy my recent experience.

I was excited to try the TGI fridays in south beach. I came here with friendsa and we were so happy to sit here after the beach. We sat outside and after we took order for our drink. Another waiter (a blonde hair girl) came out and shout on us «you guys can’t sit like that in 2 tables together… You’ll get a ticket» then I was shock from the tone and from the fact she was raising her voice, I was looking at her and react like «OK» then she said «SPANISH!!!» and I was totally in shock! What the hell!!! Are u serious?! I can speak in English! She just turned her back and walk away!!! I felt so bad and so sad. Racism in Miami Beach! I wanted to take my friends and run away from there! I’m still waiting for her to come and apologize! What a disrespectful attitude

Joshua sat us. Was not very attentive at all and just assumed the bill was together. Had the chicken Cajun pasta and it was amazing ! I recommend the pasta but if you want to have a good experience avoid Joshua.

Horrible horrible and horrible! My server told me that she couldn’t take My order now because she has to go to The next table, this is after she put the food down for my friends that had ordered before I got there. I told her I just want ice tea she said oh ok but the bar tender does that… Whaaaaaat??? This is WHAACCKKKK I’m still waiting…

I would give a 0 star if it was possible. I waited for like 15 mints for somebody to take our order, and the restaurant was almost empty ! 4 employees and the entry but no one cared if we want something …

We got to the restaurant around 2am. Upon entering there was no hostess at the front. A server walked past us and said «hey». We spoke and she kept going. A few minutes later the hostess came to the front and informed us there would be a 10 minute wait for a table or we could sit at the bar. We decided to get a table.
Once seated we waited for our waitress… and waited and waited and waited… After like ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes our waitress came over and asked «have we ordered yet». Um no, you’re the waitress and this is the first time you’ve came to the table. We placed our orders. Another 10 minutes passed and our drinks were delivered to the table.
The service was not the best. We did not see our waitress again once our food was delivered until it was time to clear the table and pay. Towards the end of our visit it seemed as if she was in a better mood.
The food however was great! Hot, fresh and delicious. I arrived to Miami at 12:30am so having the option to have a meal like steak at 2am beats a McDonald’s burger any day.
If you have the time to spare then go in grab something to eat. If you have plans and somewhere to be, and customer service is important to you then this may not be the best place for you.

Such super bad service. I had stayed in the restaurant about 30 minutes, wet menu, wet napkin, food but no sauce. I had to ask for dry menu, dry napkin one by one and l had to ask for sauce 3 times until I got mad and yelled to the waiters and waitresses in the fourth time.

Es rico! Buen servicio! Y para la zona tienen muy buenos precios y variedad en la carta! Aunque me imagino que debe ser lo mismo en todos los TGIF! La sopa de cebolla es deliciosa! Y esperar la mesa en el bar es la mejor decisión pues tienen buen servicio de cócteles y ademas deliciosos!

Service wasn’t bad. Food came out pretty fast. Bartender was friendly and attentive but… i was over charged. Next time ill just drive to NMB of im in the mood for some tgi fridays. I could’ve used the extra money on gas or something but it is South Beach. Everything on the beach is over charged lol

This place is the worst place i been to so far in Miami. I am on vacation here and had good time all day but coming to this place was the wrong option we did. Customer service is 0. They tell us 10 mins but to get a site and order took almost an hour. And no one came to say anything. This place will be my last recommendation for anyone in town for good food.

The Manager is worst than the workers. I wonder why they had worst customer services. The manager told us not to move chairs when we tried to pull an empty seat. And told us to wait for someone to get us a big table when we can easily seat. But the big table took almost an hour and no one came to tell us it will take forever. But it was too late by the time we get out chairs. So we had no choice but to stay. But i will not recommend anyone.

Ok, so I live on sobe and never been in this place. Most TGIF are tourist traps and this didn’t escape that stereotype. I was really craving a blue cheese wedge salad so I made my way here because I typically like theirs. It was busy as expected but we were seated rather quickly. However once seated, we disappeared like the little boy when he put on his sunglasses in that movie big daddy with Adam sandler. We waited like 10 minutes before we got water. The server was terrible and non attentive. I ordered my salad and my sister got the sampler app. When my salad came, it was drowned in blue cheese dressing and my sis app was cold. We had to send it back. Not cool. I have a strawberry Moscow mule. That was really good, so props for that. If I go back, it wld be just for that. It’s on the very busy corner of ocean and 5^th, which is the main street into sobe, so be prepared to see some very interesting characters in there. Actually. On a drunken night, this place may actually be entertaining. Lol

Went for a late lunch around 5 p.m. My husband and I were seated quickly outside and greeted by Veronica, our waitress. Our drinks and food were brought out promptly and we had no issue. The food was good and our waitress was friendly and attentive (allowing us space and time to converse) to our needs as we were eating. No issue at all. It’s pretty all American!

Horrible service. I had a question on an item & the server said she didn’t «have time to walk me through the menu». I understand it can be busy at times & one may get frustrated but to take it out on a customer. .that’s unheard of.

We waited along with 4 other tables for 20mins before anyone came to take our order. 1 table walked out. We finally ordered our drinks and food and our food arrived cold before we were served our drinks. The tabale beside us asked for assistance twice. The 2 and time the host asked the waitress to assist and they had an argument in front of everyone… DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Wir waren wie auch schon die Jahre zuvor bei unseren Miami Beach Aufenthalten des öffteren bei TGI Fridays essen. Man kann hier gut und zu einem vernünftigen Preis essen weis für die überteuerten Ocean Drive Restaurants ja nicht gilt. Die Bedienung ist immer sehr freundlich und bemüht sich sehr die Gäste zufrieden zustellen.

Background: We were walking along South Beach and wanted something small and fairly inexpensive. As well, we were dressed very casually so we didn’t want a restaurant that had a more formal tone. We ordered the share 5 appetizers for $ 27. This same order is $ 25 elsewhere in the country but because Miami is busier and touristy, they are able to increase their prices. Our choices were: Asian pork tacos, tuna tostado, Mac and cheese balls with bacon, chicken skewers and Parmesan meatballs. Order came up to close to $ 40 for the apps plus one diet coke and one iced strawberry passion fruit drink.
The Good:
— It wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday night at around 8:30pm so we were able to be seated immediately outside.
— The actual food wasn’t too bad. We felt that they focused a little more on quantity over quality. We both thought the chicken skewers were the best although the piece of pita bread on the bottom isn’t really necessary. I also enjoyed the meatballs. These were pretty substantial.
The Bad:
— The food quality wasn’t the greatest. The Mac and cheese balls were a little too cheesy and fake tasting.
— It ended up being more expensive than we originally thought.
Summary: This meal didn’t really stand out as being horrible or great. It was all around mediocre.

ANGER! Raging anger! THAT’S how I feel as I write this. I recently (1.5 hr ago) dined in your restaurant. 1am on South Beach in Miami. Usually it’s a time for drunks and the craziness that is South Beach. It had been a long day and my companions and I decided to grab a quick drink and bite before heading back to the hotel. The dining room is empty (it’s 1am not surprising) the bar has 6 other patrons, we sit at the bar and order our drinks from JORGE N. The drinks arrive fairly quickly. about 10 minutes later we order food … and wait… and wait .and wait. the food arrives, we order a second round and decide to tab out. then it happened. JORGE N brings the tab and informs us that he didn’t charge us for the drinks but just tip him $ 30!!! WHAT!!! He even broke it down and said we had $ 50 in drinks but $ 30 was ok. I have been a server/​bartender for 25 years — still counting — and I have NEVER, EVER been told that «I didn’t charge you for you your drinks tip me $ 30) I have never been so insulted by a server in my life. For reference we had:
3 draft beers
2 Bomb Saf
1 Patron
plus food

I have not eaten at TGIF in a few years, so after seeing them in the airport on Monday ⁹⁄₂₉ in Dallas during a lay-​over, I got super excited! Chicken strips at TGIF NEVER disappoints… had to have them!
Fast forward to Friday ¹⁰⁄₃ I’m now in So. Beach and my hotel happens to be next door to TGIF! The smell called me in again, and the rain made it very convenient.
I was happy to know that TGIF has a Gluten Free option for customers like me. I had the GF spinach dip, and a bacon cheeseburger and I was oh so happy! Cooked perfect and tastes good… Yep, haven’t had a burger in a minute and I enjoyed it.
I’ve seen my husband eat at least 4 burgers in the last 7 days and I couldn’t resist!
I’ll have to make sure I visit them more than every 3 years!

This TGIF SUCKS came here on vacation and they wouldn’t take our phone order!!!

Me encanta este lugar, amo los ribs son mis preferidos, la atención es buena, brindan un buen servicio al cliente y no se demoran en servirte la comida, casi siempre una vez al mes pasó a comer ahí, ya que me gusta su ubicación, está en una esquina sobre la ocean drive y puedes comer fuera o dentro.

Mittelmäßiges leicht schmuddeliges Restaurant. Das Angebot ist dabei das selbe wie in allen Fridays. Dazu kommt noch das uns alle Angestellten recht muffelig vorkamen.

War hier mit meiner Frau während unseres Miami Beach Urlaubes mehrfach essen und die Burger waren einfach nur klasse. Genauso stellt man sie sich vor und sollen sie auch schmecken.

das Restaurant ist ziemilch groß, man kann sowohl im Innenraum (mit Sportsbar, Tresen und Tische) als auch draußen am Strassenrand sitzen. Dementsprechend ist es etwas laut, sehr lebendig. Es ist nicht das gemütlichste Restaurant, aber echt ok. Das Essen war sehr lecker, ich habe einen Salat genommen, mein Freund Nudeln mit Spinat und Hähnchen. Die Portionen waren groß, wir sind absolut satt geworden, es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und man hat geschmeckt, dass es kein Fast Food ist. Preis auch ok, wir haben ca. 35 $ für zwei Essen und zwei Getränke ausgegeben. Werden wieder hingehen!

Waren hier nach einem Spaziergang lecker essen. Gemütlich isses so lala. Ziemlich laut, Essen war aber recht lecker. Man brachte mir die falschen Pommes (keine Süßkartoffeln), aber anstandslos dann zusätzlich noch die richtigen. Portionen waren gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Preis durchschnittlich.

TGI Friday’s direkt am Ocean Drive gelegen bietet eine erstklassige Auswahl an Grillgerichten und Salaten (hier gibt es einen wirklich sehr amtlichen Ceasar’s Salad).
Die Portionen sind (wie in den USA-​üblich) sehr üppig, frisch und lecker.
Ich muss aber gestehen, dass ich Burger lieber direkt nebenan bei «Johnny Rocket’s» esse, ebenso bevorzuge ich die Ribs von «Tony Roma’s», der auch nur ein paar Autominuten entfernt liegt. Der hat zwar dann nicht den Art Deco-​Style und den «Ocean Drive-​Flair», aber ist auch sehr lecker ;-)…

Ein ganzes Rack voller Leidenschaft und purem Sex. Die Baby Back Ribs sind einfach ein Gedicht. Das Essen wird zur Sucht, zur Befriedigung des grenzenlosen Verlangens nach Mehr.
Vergesst Schokolade oder Bananen. Allein aus meinem subjektivem Empfinden steckt in den Riibs von TGI Friday’s mehr Serotonin als in allen Bananen und Schokoladentafeln dieses Kontinents. Hier werden Glückshormone im milisekundentakt ausgeschüttet!
Die Championship BBQ Sauce läutet die Ekstase dann vollends ein. Ich könnte drin baden!
Im Stillen trauer ich noch immer. Viel zu Weit der Weg über den Atlantik um in den Himmel einzutauchen. ;-)

Die Baby Back Ribs waren fantastisch!
