A busy starbucks right in a great spot attached to the Marriott, and the only starbucks in a several-block radius. I think maybe they know that they are the only one around, so they don’t make an effort to be clean or have great service. Reading recent reviews it seems like this has changed, but when we were there in December 2015, there was no starbucks card reader — they had to punch in your starbucks card manually, they didn’t participate in rewards, and did not accept apple pay. Since I had walked down from the hotel with nothing but my room key and cell phone assuming they would honor my star rewards, I had to stand there at the checkout counter holding up the line while my card reloaded. One morning when I ordered they were out of tall cups, out of sleeves, and out of soy milk, which made attempting to order a tall soy latte interesting.

They finally can scan rewards cards! Prior to April 2016 baristas has to manually punch in your rewards number. Absurd but true. This place is usually packed from sun up to sundown and the service isn’t exactly fast. They also don’t participate in national Starbucks promotions or allow redemption of rewards because it’s a licensed store owned by Marriott. But unfortunately it’s the only Starbucks south of Fifth and the next closest is at 12th and Washington.

I have never been somewhere when my Starbucks app isn’t accepted. In addition, I walked way out of my way to get to this place to find out my app isn’t accepted so I kinda just walked away. Keep in mind a lot places in the Miami Beach area do not affiliate with the full on Starbucks promotions like an actual Starbucks store. Looks Like a duck but surly isn’t a duck…

This Starbucks has the friendliest dog owners. You could order from a window if you are with a dog. Nice seating outside and cool ocean breeze makes is a perfect spot for coffee

Tiny, dirty and not very well organized. Service takes forever and it’s in a great location! They could really use more staff in this particular spot. It seems that no one has cared much about this location.

The staff behind the counter were efficient and polite. The prices are actually a little lower than the Starbucks I go to in my home state of Wisconsin so that was nice. The place is on the smaller side and so there isn’t a lot of indoor space to sit but there is a good amount of outdoor seating. There is only one bathroom and there really isn’t any signs pointing to where it is. Wifi signal was strong and really didn’t have any problems while I was there. This is a good Starbucks to run in and grab your coffee, not to study or anything like that.

+ Indoor/Outdoor seating — Restroom under construction. — Inconsistent brand messaging and training Starbucks company, I am shocked at the poor design choices and layout that are typically a strong brand trait. This location is in an affluent neighborhood, 200 –300 feet away from Nikki Beach nightclub, and about 1000 feet from South Beach. My expectations were high for this location, but the visuals failed. You trained my eye to expect a certain design aesthetic that is Starbucks. The staff was quick, but lacked that Starbucks«What’s your name» and name on the cup experience. I want my name on the cup — even if they spell it wrong to be funny! It’s you, Starbucks. I’ve gone to Starbucks throughout California, Illinois, NewYork and in airports and abroad. This was my least memorable experience.

This Starbucks is attached to an amazing hotel. My coffee and breakfast sandwich were amazing. I love Starbucks and it was a good experience.

Unfortunately this location doesn’t take Starbucks rewards cards. Their reasoning«we’re associated with the hotel so we can’t.» Attendant wasn’t the nicest either.

I just received the worst service ever at a Starbucks. The woman working the counter was rude and non responsive. She couldn’t be bothered with taking my order. The store was not busy, but she couldn’t be bothered, so I left without my drink. I will not be back here again and I recommend Starbucks management evaluate this store.

½ hour late opening. Ladies chit-chatting inside, line formed outside. People dying of caffeine withdrawal. Not impressed.

This is the only Starbucks within the vicinity of the south point park. It is ok, but the service is extremely slow. The staff is friendly but they take their good old time when it comes to ringing up customers. The drinks are consistent, and everything is more expensive because it is in the Marriott.

Das Starbucks am O’drive scheint die einzige ehrliche Gastronomie an diesem tollen Ort zu sein. Trotz der exclusiven Lage sind die Preise völlig normal !!

every now and then i crave a frappuccino® and i very discreetly go to starbucks but i dont want people to see me going there because im afraid of bumping into someone i know and they could tell me something like«man fuck starbucks and their venti, grande, fruty bullshit bro» or depending on who i bump into it could be something like«wrong, oh em gee, panther, seriously. best. coffee. ever.» whatever, the possibilities are endless, so i hide and i even walk the path behind my building and then i cut through the park so i can avoid walking the sidewalk on ocean drive to get there. and then i walk in and i feel like im inside a hotel, and thats because i am. its the marriott. the location is clean, the ladies ive seen behind the counter are nice and make my frappuccino®s fast and they get it when i say«small» or «medium» instead of piccolo or lungo or however the fuck they call it. then i go back outside and i always see the flock of tourists and i think to myself… i hope they spend all of their money here in south beach and go back wherever they come from broke… because i realize that i just spent like three hundred dollars on 400 calories and 66 grams of sugar and i think about fight club and how they say fuck starbucks even though theres a starbucks cup on every fucking scene of that movie. where is my mind.

Great location, could stand to be larger though due to its popularity. Not much food selection for a non-coffee drinker like myself. I could sit here and watch people any day though.

Stabucks in the Sofi neighborhood in South of Fitfth. It’s located on the ground floor of the Marriott South Beach. Prices here are a good 15−20% higher than most area Starbucks. Not a fan of that.

this location is ok… its rather small and they don’t have as many prepared foods, and goods as the other locations do… and sometimes its too packed. No parking near by so its best if you are on foot. I prefer the one on West Ave.
