Skyline Bar Lounge

Enjoyed myself here. Skyline is a great place to pregame and then head elsewhere. It can use some renovations and a carpet clean because it had a funny odor.

The whole club is made to look like an airplane, there are turbines on the walls, the seats are exactly like they are in an airplane, and the DJ is inside the cockpit which faces the dance floor. Also they frisk you at the front door, I don’t know if that’s more of a security thing or to help go with the whole airplane theme but either way I liked it. The cover charge sucked though, $ 20 per person.

Omg super packed and the fans didn’t work and extremely bad service like fuckn for real we paid for VIP and 5 bottles and they just couldn’t get shit straight sweaty ass night full of ratchet all night long. Never again only if you like ghetto ass spots and sweaty ass broke niggas this your shit.

Great place on a sunday night. Total Hip Hop and a good vibe with 35 to 50 yr olds, No KIDZ.

Beautiful and well designed lounge. Love the Airline Theme, especially at the bar. The real plane parts and the engine turbine fans at the bar blew me away!
Hit or miss with the crowd. I recommend to go on holidays or special events only!

Not sure why the bad reviews. I am from New York and I first went to Skyline in January of 2012. My friends and I were on vacation. When we first got in at around 12 a.m. it wasn’t crowded at all (which is something I hate) we paid $ 20 – 30 at the door but there was a promotion and open bar all night. We found a table by the airplane and let me just tell you the drinks did not stop!
I had a lot of fun and not only because I was with about 10 girls but the crowd was great as well.
Being that I love spanish music and latino crowds, I decided to go to Skyline again with a few friends when I was on vacation this past august and it was a whole 180 of what I just explained. there was no cover and drinks were buy one get one free BUT let me just tell you there was NO ONE inside the club. By no one, I think it was just us 3 and the 2 bartenders. We decided to grab some drinks and head on out. I will mention, this does not discourage me in going back. Clubs are clubs and sometimes they have bad nights.

Pretty cool concept for a club, but it was pretty empty and the DJ wasnt bad, good drink specials but the energy was dead I was there long enough to sip on a cranberry and vodka a glide right out the door. Did I mention it was Memorial Day weekend? No bueno, guys, no bueno.

If you are looking for the hip and cool place to be, this place is definitely not the place to be, but if you simply want to drink and dance at an affordable price, it’s $ 25 entry with all you drink.
It’s not a pretentious South beach club where you have to wear 6 inch heels just to get in. It’s more about having fun than looking good, so from that perspective it may be a little better, but unfortunately, it’s gets too packed and gets way too hot.
The look of the place is cool since it is setup like a airplane with the staff dressed as flight attendant and pilots. The music is okay if you are into Spanish with a little bit of hiphop and dance thrown in.
It’s okay depending on the reason you plan to come here.

Lol first and foremost I’m gay so me going to a straight club is pretty rare but I do enjoy going to good ones with my straight buddies once in awhile. I was there last night for a birthday party, the outside of the area is whatever nothing to fancy out there, the only thing that I didn’t like was that we were a party of 15 people and we were sort of shrugged off to the side. They kept letting in individual people or couples, while two big parties were outside waiting to get in, so that took us 15 – 20 minutes wait. The entrance fee is $ 25 at first I thought it was ridiculous but only to find out that it was literally «OPEN BAR» (free drinks) till 300AM … of course what other club in Miami Beach offers such gratitude lol. So the only reason why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 3 is cause i like the promotion free drinks till 3AM which was great. The inside of the place wasn’t bad at all, to be honest if you have thing for aircraft you’ll really enjoy it, the entire inside of the club is designed as the inside of an airline cabin. They have first class separated of course for the VIP, so all in all pretty good.

So disgustingly packed I felt everyones sweaty bodies and too many touchy guys YUCK! Plus $ 10 for a crappy redbull vodka? Ew!

So last year my cousins came here and had the time of their life. This year we go again we got there late i think 1am, and about ten people outside which is understandable we can’t get in because it’s packed, about 15 people came out some were let in not us, understandable we where there after them. A while later more people come out, and hmm some group of 6 walked right in with a «pound» and two girls tried to sneak in with that group not cool. So we asked the bouncer if we had any chance of getting in, and he said when people come out, another group of people came out! and we still weren’t let in they let two other people go in because they knew them and the two sneaky girls. So we left and we are freaking hot so good bye skyline keep your «friends» inside and see your business crumble.

apparently this place is underrated.

The clubs deco and them were really nice. Loved the airplane seats and working overhead compartments. The sleek wing bar with turbines in the back added to the theme.
Our bartender Pauoline was great! she kept us entertained and served all night. Not only was she a good attentive bartender she was smart too and shared our love of LOTR and tokien books.
Yandel was great too! Really nice guy and professional to boot. Hope he does well int he future. I loved how he personally welcomed every person that came in the door and checked in to make sure we were having fun. And BOY did we. The DJ, Technine, Did his thing! we were groving all night to a mix of hip-​hop, tencho and reggatone.
All in all this place is obviouslt being slept on. If you want a nice place to chill and have fun I recommend Skyline!

First class is reserved for those who are VIP
The bartenders are dressed like flight attendants but with less clothes.
Every chair in there is from a airplane. You can even pull those tiny tables out or use the storage compartment above.
This club was cute. Spacious and played good music. The bar was nuts. Charged me $ 8 for a cup of cranberry juice. Yes, no liquor. They allow smoking indoors.
