Rented a scooter from 8÷24÷11 to 8÷25÷11
At first I was hesitant to use them because there was only three reviews on Unilocal and they were all 5 stars. However after calling them… Everything was true.
Kit delivered a perfect Yellow Vespa LX 50. No tacky rent me stickers and I felt like we owned them.
Kit was very friendly and gave us suggestions on where to go and where not to go. It was a great time on a Vespa!
When returning the Vespa, they actually pick it up from you.
The rate was $ 75 for 24 hours, you just can’t beat that!

Are you kidding me??? You mean all I have to do is call Roam and they drop off a Vespa for 24 hours of use for $ 75.00. No mileage or gas requirements, no wandering around haggling to save 5 dollars only to find out that they have shitty Chinese scooters and shady practices? Oh, and all I have to do is park it and leave the key at the front desk??? Bahahahaha!!! That is me laughing at all the other shady scooter rental places! I hope the owner of Roam Rides becomes a billionaire and teaches every business person in Miami her business practices and service skills. She’s too busy delivering scooters until then… so rent one already so she can hire more people to do it for her.

best scooter rental in miami BY FAR! the scooters dont have all the obnoxious «rent me» stickers on it like the other rentals. and they even deliver it to ur hotel! amazing. and Yes they will also pick it up when ur done… best rental service ive ever experienced. good stuff!

Renting a Vespa 150 from RoamRides for the Miami vacation last week absolutely *made* the trip. Couldn’t have been easier, hassle free, cheaper or more fun. Huge thanks to Kit (owner) & even publicist pal Theresa (sp?) for stepping in to help with delivery and pick up. Obviously, they have sharp business sense and being good people, know how to treat customers right.
Being from NYC where it’s impossible to enjoy such luxuries without added headache, I appreciate the personal touch, ease of renting these nice new, well maintained bikes. All you need do is call the ph# and set up a time and place to meet. My cost was $ 64 and change (incl tax) for a half day, 2 Helmets included! No gas worries either, comes fuelled up and you can return it low, but these are sippers so that’s unlikely.
It was easy to navigate downtown/​South Beach grid streets. Roads are smooth and cars are used to people on scooters & bikes so they show respect on the road. Parking is slightly tricky, keeps a handful of quarters on you for meters, but when stuck just find a public parking lot to save the headache/​worry.
Scooter size wise, next time I’ll try the slight lighter Vespa 50 instead, since physically i’m on the petite side. Curious how it handles differently, if at all. Had no problems with the 150 mind you, acceleration, braking, turns all smooth.
Can’t wait to get back to mellow Miami, it’s currently my fav east Coast retreat! Good Times…

Can’t say enough about what a great experience I had with Roam. The prices are super reasonable. They delivered a beautiful orange vespa right to my hotel, helmets included, filled out all my info electronically and I was on the road in about ten minutes. Drop off was just as easy. Left keys with front desk and they came and picked it up. Made Miami trip so much better. Thumbs up.

Roam Rides makes Miami an even more awesome place to visit! Before they set up shop, I had to rent an ugly noisy Chinese scooter when I was in town. Since Miami has so much classic style, it is much more appropriate to cruise around on an icon of style, a Vespa! It is also a lot more fun. They have a much smoother, more comfortable ride than the rentals all over town (covered in tacky stickers).
The Vespa also helped me discover more off the beaten path spots. So, if you’re in to exploring a new place… this is one of the best ways to do it! I own a scooter in NYC, and I think driving around Miami is much safer. They drive pretty slow… and relaxed!
Renting from Roam couldn’t be easier. Just give them a call and they will drop it off at your hotel, and pick it up when you’re done! I had such a wonderful time on my rental that I kept calling to extend my time. Thanks Kit!

Rented scooters when I was in Miami. Cheap, and they delivered right to the hotel! I got a cute little light blue one and the woman who delivered it filled out everything electronically on her little tablet, she gave us a quick overview of the Vespas and we were on our way. A 24 hour rental was about $ 60? She dropped off at 6:00 pm or so, and we returned them the next morning at 9:00 am and just parked them where she had left them. They provided helmets, and provided an extra helmet in case you wanted to take a passenger, and locks. Service was quick and super friendly.
Riding around in Miami on a scooter is crazy scary though!
