Once Upon a Carrot, a 501 © 3 non-​profit organization offers an ONLINE ²⁴⁄₇ farmers market to connect local Florida farms to urban communities in the Miami area. The Farm Store is our program to connect local, small family, organic and sustainable farms, as well as local artisan producers. Our goal is to ensure that chlldren and their families are provided local sources for real, whole, clean, nutrient-​dense, traditional foods. The proceeds from our online Farm Store provide gardening, cooking and nutritional education in public schools in the Miami Florida area.

«We only come to visit this planet for a short while. We are housed in this body and we must take care of it to remain on Earth for as long as possible. We, as a people, a society and a generation, interfere with nature, disrupt the planet, treat animals (that feed us) with cruelty and create disharmony to our ecosystems. The way things are today is unsustainable. To me, we are all bad guests and Mother Earth might ask us to leave. As George Carlin said «The planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas». Let’s do our best to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. Eat local. Buy organic. Support your community. Live long.
